When I when there on a Friday for the kids night out they split the boys and girls because of “height difference”. Boys and girls can be short or tall! And they let all the girls do the fun activities first whilst the boys were constantly getting in trouble just for being near the line that separated the two genders. But they still let the girls cross the line! Extremely sexist, I do not recommend

I didn’t know anything about tumbling when I brought my daughter to this gym. I just wanted her to have an outlet and an activity she could be proud of. While testing what my daughter could do they told me I should sign her up for cheer. I was nervous but the owner made me feel confident that they had my daughter and they would teach her everything she needed to know.
We decided to go for it and she LOVES it! All of the cheerleaders are one big family and I’ve never seen so much love before. The coaches are so dedicated and love the kids with everything they have. And it shows when they have teams constantly winning first place. I’m so glad we stepped foot into this gym and I could not recommend it more!

Being new to the area, I was unsure of where to go to help my child foster her passion for gymnastics/cheer. She had no experience in either and just learned by herself from YouTube. I called and was met with Leslie who said just try you never know. Well thank god I listened to her, because as soon as we came we were met with Amy and she only had open arms for us. I was so nervous about my daughter not being accepted not being from here. But coach Brooke and coach Amy and Leslie have been nothing but extremely nice to us. They have encouraged my daughter to improve her skill sets especially never formally having training before. They have been positive and encourage team bonding. My daughter has been accepted by her team mates and they have encouraged each other which has helped my daughters confidence and self esteem. I feel like Amy listens when I have concerns about my daughters progress or because I don’t understand cheer and the points system explained everything to me. I have seen her so patient and she does get stern with her athletes but as it should be because she is a coach and doesn’t want injuries as it affects the whole team. Both Brooke and Amy are so patient even when the athletes don’t listen.

I was looking over my grandkids latest cheer photos yesterday I couldn't help but thank God that The Arise Gym came into their lives. Amy, the coach and I think the owner, is positive, encouraging and extremely talented. I live in Georgia so I can't attend their competitions. But on a recent visit with my grandkids I saw such a marked improvement in their self confidence. I credit cheer and the awesome coaches. Lago Vista is a smaller town off the beaten path. This town is lucky to have this gym there.
I 100% recommend this gym to any parent looking to give their child a positive outlet. This is where your child can learn teamwork and create awesome lifetime memories!

Unfortunately, the experience at Arise Gym you will receive is extremely disappointing. The environment fostered by the owner, Amy, is not one that promotes positivity or inclusivity. Instead, there seems to be encouragement of toxic behavior among both the parents and the children involved in cheer. I’ve witnessed instances of bullying being overlooked or even encouraged, which is deeply concerning in a space that should prioritize teamwork and support. Additionally, interactions with parents can be tense, as Amy often raises her voice and creates an unwelcoming atmosphere. I truly hope the culture at this gym changes, as every child deserves a safe and uplifting place to grow and develop their skills. Please be mindful that the owner Amy will ensure that this review is hidden amongst all of the other good reviews in which she solicits from parents in exchange for deducted costs of classes and or gear.

The Arise Gym is truly a treasure in our community! My daughter absolutely loves it there, and I couldn’t be more impressed with everything they offer. She’s made wonderful friends, adores her coaches, and has grown so much in focus and discipline through their sports programs. I can’t wait to see how she grows in gymnastics!

Wow. Y’all just really REALLY knocked it out of the park! You have no idea, what you did for this mommy’s heart.

The minute we got there, the doors were already open, Dylan greeted me with a HUGE smile and literal open arms to take all the things I had in mine.

During Saturday class, I received a call that my daughter doesn't want to participate in the class, follow instructions and is sitting in the lobby. When the coach handed her the phone she was crying and told me that she hurt her nose. I went back to pick her up and saw that 2 coaches were coaching two students and no one else was working with my daughter.
I felt that my girl hurt herself due to lack of supervision and engagement from the coaches. Then to just blame it on the kid is not appropriate. I let the coach know my opinion.
It seems to me that the Saturday class is not really for gymnastics, but a supervised playground.

I love the gym and their new location! We go to weekly classes and recently had my daughter's second birthday there. The new location was particularly great for the party because of their new parents area. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They truly went above and beyond by helping me host my daughter's tutu birthday party. Amy, Landon and their family are the best!! My family is so incredibly happy they opened up a fantastic place where my daughter can go for gymnastics!! We were going all the way to Leander for years. Now we are closer to home! Being closer to home is great but that's not why we changed to The Arise. We changed because we knew their family and how amazing they are! And also because they don't just hire anyone like other places do. They hire people with great experience and who really work great with the kids! We LOVE the Arise Gym. We were fortunate to host the first birthday at the gym upon opening. The staff did a wonderful job making the day so special. Both of our children have been in regular classes since the gym opening in February. Our girls have fallen in love with gymnastics (this has been their first experience).
