I tried the 2 week membership at The Core Lab and I’m loving it so far! The classes are challenging but super fun, with great instructors and music. They really pay attention to you, teach the positions properly, and keep you motivated. Totally enjoy every class!

I absolutely loved this studio! I have been a member for over 6 months and have nothing but positive experiences. The instructors are all great, but my bias is Denise, her classes just hit different and she is very engaging with her members.

If you’re coming from a well-established studio like TruFusion or SolidCore, this studio will likely feel mediocre by comparison. My experience was disappointing. In my first class with Min Gardner, there was no introduction, no explanation of how the studio operates, and no mention of the required grip socks—so I went through the entire class without them. It wasn’t until my third class with Denise that I was stopped mid-session, told I needed grip socks, had to leave the Reformer to get some, and was later charged $20.

On top of that, I felt singled out during class—despite others not doing the movements correctly, I was the one constantly being corrected. It made the experience uncomfortable and discouraging. The overall vibe in the studio is low-energy and uninspiring. For the price they charge, the experience and professionalism should be much better. If you’re used to a strong, motivating environment like SolidCore, I’d suggest staying there.

Have been coming for about 3 months now. Wanted to wait to post a review. I first heard about the core lab through word-of-mouth and I have put all my friends into it as well.!! Started with the beginner week pass and a beginner class as I had NEVER done reformer Pilates before. I have tried almost every coach here in Cypress and I will go out of my way to see ***PERLA AND GUSTAVO***!! They have a GREAT playlist and are very great instructors. They will correct your form but also encourage you. I am no pro but enjoy every challenging class. Come try it out!

Ps. I do wish cypress had the HITT classes that the other locations have. As you cannot switch memberships between locations which is a bummer.

I absolutely loved my time at The Core Lab Cypress! Every instructor I took class with was welcoming, knowledgeable, and encouraging. The workouts were always challenging (in the best way!) and I could feel myself getting stronger each week. The studio had such a positive, motivating atmosphere—clean, beautiful, and well-organized. It was the perfect place to begin my Pilates journey, and I’m so grateful for the strong foundation I built here!

I love this Pilates studio. It’s definitely tougher than normal Pilates, hence Pilates Elevated!! I have been coming here for more than 3 months now and all classes still feel like I am doing for the first time. All instructors are amazing!! You are basically getting personal pilates trainer for price of a group class. I love coming here. After 3 months of coming pretty much everyday, I still feel very very challenged every time. There is so much to learn on exercise forms and every instructor explains the moves and focus on correct technique. I can see myself coming here forever, if I can 😀. Also I have noticed instructors keep adding so many different moves to keep the class spicy, you will never be bored of same moves. Just come in the class with open mind to give your best and listen to instructors and just don’t focus on how bad you are doing… just keep at it and slowly and surely you will see the improvements. A big shoutout to all the amazing instructors - Cathy, Kim, Denise, Janais, Tandi, Jada, Perla, Min!!

Wow this studio is so much fun and challenging! I am visiting from out of town and signed up for a 3 class pack. I’ve been doing Pilates with a Balanced Body Allegro 2 reformer at my home studio for a few years and also go to a Lagree studio, but The Core Lab is a perfect hybrid of the two. I’ve never used the XFormer before, but the quality is excellent and better than the Lagree megaformer in my opinion. It’s a smoother ride and the upholstery is higher quality. The moves are similar with Pilates and Lagree. They use the same names for lots of different moves. Now I’m googling finding an XFormer studio in my city! I’m definitely coming back here when I visit my family here in Cypress.

I am obsessed with The Core Lab. I’ve done some Pilates reformer classes at other Pilates studios, however — TCL is exactly what they say on their website… “This isn’t your traditional Pilates. This is Pilates. Elevated.” Elevated is RIGHT (or maybe the word ‘torture’ should be included in this). The best workout mixing Pilates and Strength. I get humbled almost every class, which is exactly why I want to keep coming back every week. Such great instructors, such a great atmosphere! 10/10

Honestly, this place is not worth the money. For workout studios, the most important aspect is the skilled and trained instructors. The instructors here HEAVILY lack that. Yes they may be strong and their forms are great but they still need to know how to TEACH. They also do not do a consultation or do a solid run down of how the machine works for newcomers thus leading to risk of injuries. They also do not tell you that grip socks are required until an hour or so before class - which does not leave you with enough time to order or buy. Instead, they’ll charge you almost $20 for a pair of mediocre quality socks. I almost slipped and fell because the size of socks they sold were too big. Other studios I’ve tried have always given free equipment/clothing rentals for trial customers. It’s a shame that was not done here. The prices are also outrageous for what you are getting. There are plenty of studios in this area that are much cheaper or offer much, MUCH more. This was a disappointing experience.

I strongly encourage this place to invest in their instructor training and implement a solid newcomer process.

I’ve been attending Pilates sessions at Core Pilates for almost 2 months, and it's been an amazing experience! The coaches I’ve taken classes with are fantastic.

Kim is wonderful. Her voice is like velvet, and she has this super calm, didactic way of teaching that makes every session so soothing and easy to follow. I always leave her class feeling relaxed and accomplished.

Denise is the one who will really push you to your limits. She doesn’t let you take it easy, and you definitely feel the burn in the best way possible. If you want a serious workout, she is your go-to.

And Perla, she is awesome for challenging workouts that don’t feel overwhelming. Her classes are tough, but she never puts unnecessary pressure on you. It's all about pushing yourself at your own pace, and it's super rewarding.

I have been fortunate enough to have 1-on-1 sessions with all of them at the beginning of my Pilates journey, and this helped me a lot. Overall, my experience at Core Pilates has been fantastic. Highly recommended!

I did Pilates years ago and just got back into it! I signed up for their monthly membership and it has been a game changer for me. I really look forward to coming every week to class. All of the instructors are welcoming, very helpful and will push you to do your very best. What i love the most is the full body workouts!
