I signed up for my first HYROX and, after hours and hours of searching for a personal trainer, I decided to go with The Crossbreed Collective, best decision ever! Taylor knows exactly what he’s doing and does it with real passion. He’s incredibly patient and supportive. There were many moments I doubted myself, but I left every workout feeling stronger and more confident to take on HYROX. The HYROX group class with Taylor & Allison was also amazing, dynamic, challenging, but still fun!
I’d highly recommend Taylor to anyone looking to get stronger, whether you’re starting from the couch, already hitting the gym, or looking to take your fitness to the next level.

Truly the best duo in Dallas. I initially met Taylor and Allison through a friend by going to their Hyrox classes on Sundays. Immediately I felt like I was in my new fitness home. They were so welcoming, explained everything thoroughly and encouraged me to the point where I felt unstoppable. With motivation from Taylor and Allison, and the confidence gained from joining the group classes, I ended up signing up for the actual Hyrox race in Dallas! I also did additional partner workouts coached by Taylor and I have never felt stronger, faster, a more efficient athlete. They 100% got me ready for the race - not just physically, but mentally as well and I cannot thank them enough! If you live in Dallas I HIGHLY recommend getting started with the collective. I have been attending the Sunday group workouts for the last few months and I’d love to give a review. Prior to this I have avoided group workout classes at all costs due to hating the feeling of being criticized in front of people. Taylor and Allison totally transformed group classes for me. Recently I received news about some kidney issues that I’ve been having for years and it’s caught up with me. I was absolutely devastated, Taylor reached out to me and said he wanted to help out and I was ready to make some changes.
Not only did I start tracking calories, I started doing workouts and step counting. He gave me tips and tricks to replace certain foods I liked with other foods that were better for me and still gave me the satisfaction with flavor and nutrition.
Thanks to Taylor and crossbreed and their patience, understanding, and vast knowledge. I was able to get my blood pressure down into the normal range (I haven’t had a normal blood pressure reading since I was a teenager) and a normal reading for my blood sugar! I haven’t had normal blood sugar reading since 2016.
I am so grateful for this team, it is such a personal experience, and they want you to win. No win is too small with them, they genuinely care about you and your goals and they will push you to meet those goals in a loving way. I hope you decide to join them! You won’t regret it I promise.

I came to the Crossbreed Collective this summer after much research and previous reviews, needless to say, they did not disappoint. This is not your typical cookie cutter/ franchise type gym trainer. Taylor is super knowledgeable and has this common sense and overall realistic approach to the workouts and nutrition advice. He is always there for accountability and gives you weekly feedback/check ins for your goals moving forward. Not being in the best of shape I never once felt pushed beyond my limitations or shamed for missing a workout or falling short of weekly goals. I came away with more confidence being a gym newbie and like having a friend that actually cares about your health. Taylor and Allison are the real deal and whatever your fitness level is, these are the ONLY trainers in the DFW you should work with. They are truly awesome and amazing!!! I’ve been working with Crossbreed Collective since January 2024 and it has truly been the best, most supportive online personal training I’ve ever had. Coach Jones is absurdly knowledgeable and knows exactly how to scaffold workouts to get the most out of me.
I set out to do a bulk with Crossbreed; something I’ve failed at time and time again and that greatly intimidates me. Coach Jones has been so supportive both physically and mentally; I’m up ~15lbs in 5 months and stronger than ever. I even maxed out my deadlift with 300lbs and am set to surpass that very soon.
The only downside I can note about working with Crossbreed Collective is that if you own a home gym, you’re going to end up spending more money on extra plates and dumbbells to try and keep up with the absurd strengths gains. If you’re on the fence with pulling the trigger on one of Crossbreed’s programs, don’t hesitate. These are truly good people who actually know what they’re doing and practice what they preach.

Shortly after moving I realized I needed to improve my fitness and overall health; Taylor definitely helped me with that. Over the course of a year Taylor helped me hone my dieting to fit my specific goals and needs while also teaching me ways to cheat and reward myself in a way that would not be harmful to my overall fitness goal. Taylor began designing a weekly workout routine that was customized for me and assisted in me getting reacclimated to being in a gym and working out multiple times a week.
