I danced here for 9 years and never once did I regret it. Every teacher I had was amazing and they created a safe environment and fostered relationships with us. On the competition teams I didn’t just make friends but I had fun, learned how to manage my time, and learned so many things in dance and in life. I will forever be thankful for Mrs. Maria and the family she created for me. This studio will always be a huge part of who I am and I am beyond grateful I was able to be apart of it!

This is such a fantastic place to dance I love it here. The students and staff are so nice and welcoming. They offer so many great classes and have amazing goals set for their dancers. They also offer preprofessional dance companies. All together TDA is one of the best studios in the area the environment is just so amazing and nice, you wouldn’t want to miss out.

I am so excited everyday. I bring my daughter to the dancing Academy. They are so gifted so wonderful, so talented. And they do so well working with the girl's. We moved to North Austin one year ago, and I have put my daughter in two studios, but this studio won. My daughter loves this studio so much, and I do too. She was able to gain enough experience to be a part of one of their competitive teams. It feels like she’s becoming part of a family, a community of dancers.

My daughter started here in January (2021) and has her first dance recital this weekend. I have been very happy with how friendly and attentive all of the staff is and I appreciate the fact that they are really teaching ballet and not just giving my daughter something to do for an hour once a week!

Update 07/23: Still love it! My daughter's 1st recital was proof they do a great job of teaching. Best place for ACTUAL dance instruction. I love Maria, Ginger and Kim SO very much!

Our daughter is really enjoying this studio and her instructor Ms. Kim is wonderful. However this school desperately needs a change in facility. They are not big enough to accommodate the number of classes and children they are teaching. There is never enough parking, and the business owners next door are fed up with folks parking in their lots (I was asked by a neighboring business to no longer park there). The waiting room for parents doesn’t even have enough seats and it’s often miserably hot in there and so very crowded. It’s gotten to the point where I am considering taking my daughter elsewhere solely because the facility is so bad, which would just be a shame. Really hoping they will consider relocating to a place more appropriate to the volume of business they are conducting.

My daughter absolutely loves this studio, especally her instructor Ms. Kim. Her instructor is so great with the small children, even during a recital... she was the best toddler instructor that stood at the side of the stage getting her students to do all of the moves, while I found the other instructors from the other schools distracting. You can clearly tell she has been doing this a very long time.

I went here just to try it out for a new dance studio and I am welcomed automatically the owner remembers everyone’s name and is so kind, the teachers are so encouraging and so kind, and the kids are welcoming and fun! The BEST Academy in Leander!
My daughter really enjoys being here. It is a place with a safe, friendly environment and they really prepare these children to a professional level. My daughter had never danced before, she barely knew how to move her waist😁, and in just two years they have transformed her, they have brought out the best in her, and her self-esteem has improved. Not only is she in the academy but she also belongs to the Dance Company in which they have the opportunity to learn certain very specific skills and they will compete in different places, obtaining success in each of these competitions.
The staff is EXCELLENT, very professional, well dedicated to their students.The director is an amazing human being, very professional and she loves each of these girls as if they were her own daughters. María, the director, always has words of encouragement for each of them, she speaks very positively to them, she always has good advice to give them and maintains excellent communication with parents.
My daughter has always felt loved and respected by both the staff and her peers.

My daughter has been taking classes at Ballet North now since the beginning of September. It's only been 2 months, and I have been really impressed with the quality of instruction, communication, high focus on excellence and character. The dance instructors are really good and great with kids (my daughter is 5.) Also, they have reputable instructors come from all over the United States to do masters classes--super impressed!

My daughter has been attending the dance Academy For sometime now, there’s a quarantine we had to take how long break. After almost a year at home we finally came back. My daughter attends Jazz class and ballet. The place is very clean, rooms are sanitized after each group. Safety precautions are taken very seriously to keep our children safe I am very grateful! Thank you very much.

My daughter loves dancing here. She is currently a member of the Ballet Company with Ballet Academy North under the direction of Kelly Yankle. BAN is the BEST ballet program in all of Leander and Cedar Park. The other instructors are top notch with years of experience. Maria, the owner, is well organized and provides a positive environment for dancers. Tuition seems to be the same as other studios. I highly recommend The Dance Academy and Ballet Academy North.

My daughter just went here for her first trial class last night, after a horrible experience at another studio. I am so glad we came here! The difference was night and day. My first phone call was with Maria, the owner, who took the time to talk with me and find the perfect class for my daughter to try. She remembered me (and my daughter's name!) when I called to say we were stuck in traffic. She met me at the door and walked my daughter back to class. In stark contrast to my experience at the other studio, everyone I spoke with was professional and courteous. The whole feel of the studio was professional, all the dancers were in dress code. The class was small, with enough instructors/assistants to ensure the children were actually learning. This studio is a drive for me, but it is SO worth it!

What a wonderful business run by a wonderful person. We have known Maria for many years and always impressed with her style. Just the fact that they have been in business for close to 20 years speaks volumes to the kind of quality instruction you can expect your child to receive.
