This is a really fun studio. Everyone is so welcoming and fun to dance with. Erin Jane and Reginald are great dance teachers and lots of fun. Everytime I'm in the area I like to go here for classes and the Thursday dance party.

Highly Recommended and Great Dance Instructor: Erin Jane Novitsky / Erin Jane Cupp. Erin Jane is the absolute best and most professional dance instructor I have ever been fortunate enough to meet and follow. She has unbelievable patience for a beginner like me and is still able to coach long-term dancers to achieve limits they did not know was possible. There are many attributes Erin Jane has such as an amazing positive upbeat attitude, never quit work ethic and knowledge of all the dance forms: Waltz, Viennese Waltz, Tango, Cha-Cha-Cha, Rumba, Samba, Bachata, Quick Step, Jive, Bolero, Salsa, Argentine Tango, Polka, East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing and her favorite; which she is a Competitive Winner, Country Dances: 2-Step, Triple Two and Progressive just to name a few. But the most amazing character trait I see in Erin Jane is her dedication to each of her students’ success by helping them achieve satisfaction and happiness in dance that they may not know they had, such as me. Thank You Erin Jane for making a dream I had deep inside me come out and shine. I could only spell DANCE when I walked through that door and within 2 months, I participated in a Dance Showcase that was one of the happiest days of my life. Erin Jane is truly a blessing to each of her students.

My husband and I started off with the intro to country lessons we bought off of Groupon and loved them! We wanted to try an intro dance class out before we decided to do official dance classes to prepare for our first dance at our wedding. We had Erin Jane for both and cannot recommend her enough to plan your first dance. She asked all the questions we needed to figure out what kind of style we were thinking and to get a layout of the venue so that she can plan. She was also prepared for our dances and addressed our questions and concerns. There were a few times that Erin Jane had to swap with Spencer and we loved having him as an instructor too! It was nice to have a different set of eyes to give us feedback on our dances. We hope to continue going to their classes and start going to their dance parties.

Julio was absolutely splendid! He is a man of his word and gave my fiancé and I a fantastic first trial class. We left feeling more confident for our first dance.
Julio’s teaching style is simple but effective.
We rehearsed a full song in under an hour.

My fiancée and I checked this place out for some wedding dance lessons with about 2 months to go until the big day. We are going with a Viennese Waltz which isn't exactly simple and we aren't really dancers. We did a 30 minute consultation where Spencer, our instructor with super high energy, where we got the intro and basics down along with some homework and tips. In 30 minutes we got a lot and have a good idea of what we need to do in the next few months. We decided to setup lessons once a week with Spencer. The studio is stylish, well kept and professional. We had fun.

Wonderful dance studio! The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. Spencer is so amazing, patient, and knowledgeable of all dance styles. I feel that I am a very awkward dancer and have two left feet, but he has helped me tremendously with learning the foot work and getting me out of my comfort zone to learn new dances. I love attending lessons, group classes, and parties at The Dance Place. I have been a student since last August and I'm excited with how much I have learned. Highly recommend as this place got my now wife and I ready for our first dance. We got the groupon to get the initial consulation and then decided to go with the 5 dance package. Mac was our dance instructor and he took me a person who has no rhythm and hates getting on the dance floor because I couldnt dance and transformed me into a confident dancer in just 5 lessons. We had a choreographed dance that turned out amazing and yes you do have to practice on your own but Mac helped alot and was also very patient with me. Definitely recommend this place.

I recommend this place to anyone looking for a dance instructor for their wedding. We previously had a bad experience with a dance instructor and had to look for a new one. They were able to show us so much in two dance lessons. They are affordable and they know what they are doing. I never put up any reviews but this place deserves a good review.

Fun classes! The price was good. My husband and I looked into other dance places that wanted to charge a lot just to "talk" about dance techniques! The Dance place had us dancing the first visit. I had my first lesson and the way they teach is amazing. They are not like other studios where they have a set way they teach. They really teach your lessons based on your experience and the way you learn. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I also attended a dance party. The other students are very friendly and they dance with everyone regardless of their experience. I felt very included and not left out. I can't wait to go back!

"I feel the need, the need for..." DANCE! And The Dance Place has given me that, and more! Nine months of great instruction and I'm read for my first competition. So excited! And everyone at the studio has been a fantastic factor in my journey. The instructors are wonderful in that they truly love what they do and are dedicated to helping their students achieve their goals for ballroom dancing. They want you to be the best dancer you can be and will guide you through the process with patience and focus, and with 'fun' in every step you take!. For anyone that wants to add a little fun and spice to your life, I would highly recommend ballroom dancing and, especially, The Dance Place. They will put the 'happy' in your 'feet'!
