The Dance Spot offers a diverse selection of dance and fitness classes for dancers and performers ages 2 to adult! We use training as a means to not only create exceptional dancers, but to build character and teach valuable life lessons to our students.
At TDS we are committed – heart, body, and mind – to continuous forward momentum and innovative programming, and this drives us to energize, engage, and empower our students to take risks, reach beyond existing boundaries, experiment and find new ways to grow. The integrity behind our training is demonstrated in our students’ executional excellence and quality.
We also offer rental space to the Round Rock and North Austin community to anyone looking to host their own classes or popups.

Great studio! Professional and customer focused. Parents are given the opportunity to watch lessons outside the classroom in order to keep students focused on their dancing. Parents are also invited to observe classes on a routine schedule.
Our student thoroughly enjoys her lessons and looks forward to her weekly lessons. We are very excited for that!
We’ve had our other children at another studio previously, and they were good. The Dance Spot has far exceeded other studios for their professionalism and dedication to student learning.
Their website is also quite good and can generally answer any questions we have. We can communicate easily by phone and text too! I would definitely recommend The Dance Spot!

Such a wonderful studio! The best part is that they have a dance clothes/shoe store inside, so it’s a one stop shop for all you need! It’s been the best experience so far for my young dancer!

My son and I moved here from El Paso where I taught and directed at my family studio so I was very nervous about being integrated into a new studio. I am now teaching hip hop at TDS and also the hip hop company director and love it here so much! Even with the bumps that come with it, this was such a warm transition between the staff, parents and the dancers. The staff are very experienced and deeply invested in the wellbeing and training of dancers of all levels. I can’t recommend this studio enough!

My daughter loves this place. She started tap and ballet late, as a junior in high school, and they had the right class for her. It’s nice not to have to do the traditional class, show, pay for a costume type establishment. They have a teachers that can work one on one with the older students so they don’t feel so awkward about starting later in life.

I don't usually write reviews, but I have to make an exception for The Dance Spot. I have been attending a variety of their adult classes for a few months, and every single one has been exceptional. My particular favorites have been ballet with Alex, tap with Jeanine, and Latin with Jak. The instructors are knowledgeable and tailor their classes to the students, which is an important consideration when teaching adults that might or might not have previous dance experience. I'm looking forward to trying more classes!

We found TDS when my daughter was 3 years old. She started in the Dancers and Dreamers classes and instantly fell in love. She is now about to be 8 years old and has made so many new friends and loves the staff. The new facility is absolutely beautiful and they offer a wide variety of classes and performance opportunities from the Nutcracker in the winter and spring recital in the spring. As a mom, I have also made friends with fellow dance moms and staff, this is truly a dance family and we are so excited to continue her dance journey with The Dance Spot.

So I was went to this dance studio for a year and I love the location. Very spacious very clean not too friendly. I will not be attending any more classes at this location because of an incident that had occurred. The staff doesn’t know how to treat their customers with respect and not understanding. I felt unwelcome because of my skin complexion and the assistant got very aggressive/defensive when I asked for the manager information. I left that day feeling uncomfortable and disappointed.
