About the Club

Strength training is no longer just for athletes. It’s a recommended activity for every adult and a necessary strategy for optimal health and active aging. However, many people still find traditional weight training intimidating. This leads to the avoidance of strength training by many of the people that could benefit most from it.

At The Exercise Coach, our coaches are trained and mentored in a methodology that optimizes individual effort. Our clients are amazed at how this guidance helps them safely and comfortably push themselves to unlock more fitness potential than they knew they had. It’s not uncommon for our clients to increase their strength in some muscle groups by as much as 50% in as little as 8-12 weeks.

I am in my 2nd year of being a member. I used to go to outdoor group boot camps and it was problematic as the trainers would not have the ability to focus on you as individual and ensure proper form. Although I do miss the energy of a group training class, after having many complications over the years due to my poor form when it comes to strength training, it is great to work with coaches who monitor every aspect of your form to prevent you from causing more harm. You don't realize how much stronger you are until you look at the computer screen on each machine showing how far you have grown. Every coach here has a different style and energy and they are all cool people. Amazing encouragement and they tune in to where you are in the moment to meet you with where you are. If you are having an off day, no worries, they encourage you to do your best in that moment and teach you that each day is different. Isabella, Carl, Jake, and Mark are rockstars!

I absolutely hate working out.
This is a fact that’s not going to change.

However, In 20 minutes twice a week over the last four months. I have gotten stronger, I have lost some inches, I’ve definitely lost
weight. My posture is better, My confidence is greater.

The crew is fantastic! I feel Welcomed there, it does not smell of gym( if you know what I mean)
They push me just enough and encourage me to keep going. Currently, I am dealing with a back problem And they’ve augmented my workout to ensure I don’t cause additional damage.

This is a small, private space with one-on-one coaching. Standard strength-training machines run on a software platform that provides visual feedback to guide your effort as well as to track your progress. Two 20-minute HIT sessions per week is the standard protocol and has been very effective for this 70+ senior.

I just cannot say enough about The Exercise Coach in Flower Mound. I simply love it! The staff are the nicest, most patient humans you will ever meet. Mark and his team are all amazing, and they are always there to encourage, and push you to do your best. I recently had the pleasure of signing up, and let me tell you, my first-time-gym-jitters were quickly put to rest. To be honest, I was pretty nervous since I'd never stepped foot in a gym before. But they offered two free sessions, and boy, was I in for a pleasant surprise.

What really impressed me right off the bat was how this gym is all about science and data. It's super cool to see a place that's so focused on the science behind fitness. Mark, the owner, is awesome. He gave me a tour and then took the time to sit down and make sure my goals, both physical and mental, were set straight.

I have to admit, the price of $849 for 20 sessions seemed a bit on the high side, especially as a full time student, but it didn't take long for me to realize why. This place isn't your run-of-the-mill big gym. They keep it intimate, with only 3-4 people training at once, and it's all one-on-one coaching. It makes a huge difference.

I was super skeptical about how a 20-minute workout could make a real impact on my strength and overall fitness. But boy, was I proven wrong. After every session, I walked out feeling sore, tired, and accomplished.

Then today, there was this one incident that truly won me over. I came in early, and there was a bit of confusion that led to a double booking, which meant my workout wasn't quite up to par. Mark didn't hesitate and gave me a call to let me know the session was on the house due to the mix-up. It was a clear sign that this place isn't just about making money; they genuinely care about their clients.

In my time here, I've had the pleasure of working with Ulyssa and Mark, and they're both fantastic. I'm sure the other trainers are just as great. The entire team is friendly, respectful, and truly cares about your well-being. If you're looking for a place that not only delivers results but also makes you feel valued and supported on your fitness journey, this is it. They go above and beyond to provide a top-notch fitness experience. Give them a try; you won't regret it!
