About the Club

The Forge on Dyer is a training, performance, and recovery studio with a focus on whole body wellness. Our purpose is to provide a private training studio for personal trainers and their clients without a monthly membership fee. In addition to a studio full of functional training equipment and educated trainers, The Forge on Dyer provides a space for performance and recovery therapies and currently offers NeuroKinetic Therapy (NKT), Proprioceptive-Deep Tendon Reflexology (P-DTR), sports and relaxation massage therapies, as well as other therapies to treat and prevent chronic and accident injuries.

About time I leave a review. I have been a member at Forge for over nearly 2 years and it is a great gym. The staff and trainers are kind, friendly, and professional. Kyle has been helpful from day one when I first signed up. They are constantly looking for ways to improve the gym by adding or reorganizing equipment to make your work out flow better. They also have awesome equipment you wouldnt traditionally see in a chain gym which is a plus. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a great gym or trainer in the neighborhood.

Training with Kyle has been really helpful during my recovery from birth injuries. He helped me learn to move again and trust that my body is capable of doing things + healing. He is very knowledgeable, encouraging, and funny, & learning strength training from him has really been a light during a dark time in my life.
It’s also great that The Forge is extremely clean, pleasant, and has an accepting atmosphere. There are also all kinds of people there, so I feel less out of place as a newcomer to strength training / gym life. I highly recommend The Forge if you are rehabbing from an injury, wanting to start strength training, or are just looking for a great gym to join. Thanks Kyle!

Followed my valued trainer Chris Brumley to this wonderful training facility. Great location, great gym and awesome training. Chris always knows how to work my core et al to keep strong, protected from injuries and to combat the challenges of aging. Don’t know what I would do without his training, and I am super happy to be at The Forge on Dyer!!!

I'm a wedding and event planner and after my first six months of personal training, I have greater strength and endurance when working 16+ hour event days. In my workouts, I've noticed that each of the gym's personal trainers focus on catering to their individual client's needs. After reaching out to the owner (Kyle) about my interest in working with a trainer, I was matched with Jake. I’ve been training with Jake Dunn here for the past 7 months and have found every session to be beneficial and well worth my time and money. Jake has gone above and beyond to help me reach my weight loss and other fitness goals by customizing my sessions to my needs/wants and creating plans for me on the days that I don’t work with him. He is motivating in a positive way and seems to genuinely care about my progress while pushing me to push myself further than I would on my own. Which is exactly what I was wanting.
I look forward to my sessions each week and have found everyone at the gym to be friendly and supportive. I always leave feeling motivated and excited to practice what I have learned on my own!
I was looking for a gym that specialized in training and prioritized cleanliness and The Forge on Dyer has proved to be exactly that!

I have been working out with Kyle for around 5 months now. We focus on movement training (vs vanity 'build my guns' training) and Kyle has a knack for working muscles I was previously unaware I even had. Recently I went to Colorado for a couple of days. Day 1 we skied all day....remarkable difference in my resiliency. I am an experienced skier and yet I was able to push harder and when I fell I felt strong in my ability to get up and keep going. Day 2 we hiked the Flatirons. Four miles and 1800 vertical feet starting from 6k ft above sea level. Again, felt strong and resilient. The cross-sport benefit I have gained from these workouts is incredible. Working out with Kyle has made a huge impact in my overall strength and endurance and i've never felt better. Check them out!

My husband and I found the forge a few months ago. We have been working out with Joey and Carissa...they have both been amazing!!!! They design specific workouts to address our individual concerns while improving our overall strength and mobility. Huge fan of The Forge! I have trained Carissa Nickel for months now and not only is her training effective, it’s also fun. She is a true professional and knows all aspects of training but also nutrition, which is key. I actually love working out now and the environment is spot on exactly what I was looking for. The space is clean, private, and welcoming. I highly recommend, coming from someone that found every excuse in the book not to work out. Carissa is one of a kind and WILL get you results.

Personal Trainer & Boutique Gym Rec: Kyle Osteen & The Forge. If you are looking for a professional, exceptional, kind and firm personal trainer, then Kyle and the team at The Forge is for you. Kyle took the time to understand my fitness goals, my strengths and limitations, then he developed a fitness plan that I've enjoyed doing both with him at The Forge and on my own between sessions. I also appreciate that The Forge is a 'boutique gym' that limits the number of trainers and trainees in the space. While we all do our part to keep the space clean and safe during our sessions, I'm aware of and grateful for the extra measures Kyle and the trainers take behind the scenes to keep up the gym safe and clean for us. An added bonus: my mother enjoys working out with Kyle so much that she drives in for our Wednesday two-on-one training sessions together weekly!

The Forge on Dyer is a clean and open facility with state-of-the-art equipment and expert trainers that are able to personalize workouts according to your body’s needs, weaknesses, and strengths. I have had the pleasure to cross-train at The Forge on Dyer during my offseason with Kyle Osteen. We have been working together over the past 4+ years. Kyle puts a lot of thought into creating exercises developing fun new ways to use the equipment (like the OHM dynamic training machines!) to work on specific muscles and coordination to help my dancing and general overall well-being. Since working with Kyle through some injuries and on specific weaknesses I have been able to prevent reoccurring pain/injury and improve my overall performance as a professional ballet dancer. For that, I am forever grateful!

I love working out with Trainer Kyle Osteen at the Forge on Dyer! The space is open, clean, and full of state-of-the-art equipment. At most there are one or two other people in there when we are working out, so I have access to any piece of equipment I want at any given time. The best part of the work out is Kyle! He is an excellent trainer who listens to what I want. He shifts the exercises to address whatever my interests and needs are for any given session. If I am going skiing, he helps me work those muscles; but if I am sore, he helps me prevent further injury. Besides all that, he is an enthusiastic coach who keeps me laughing and distracted while I get an awesome workout.

I was looking for a gym that focused on knowledgeable personal training. The trainer I’ve been working out with knows his stuff. The location is centrally located, less 2 miles from my house in Lakewood. The facility is very clean and has top-notch equipment. I would suggest anyone looking for personal training at any level from accountability to targeting certain things you want to improve in to The Forge.

This is a 5 star facility. I've been looking for the right trainer and the right gym for close to two years, and I'm so happy to be able to say I've finally found both. The Forge on Dyer is a welcoming, functional, and super clean space with all the right equipment to have dynamic and engaging workouts. Nothing less than the best! In addition to the standard rack and weights, Kyle offers incredible equipment that I have never seen before, which allowed me to have some of the best, most unique workouts yet. The entire facility is pristine, professional, yet still rugged enough to convey the intensity of the workouts. Additionally, Kyle himself is a great trainer. Not only have I become significantly stronger, but Kyle has also helped educate me and allowed me to be more self-sufficient in designing workout plans and recognizing/improving my own form when I'm away from the Forge.
TLDR: The Forge is -the- place to workout and Kyle Osteen has set the (very high) standard for personal trainers.

The Forge has everything you could possibly need in one space. Professional training? Check. State of the art equipment? Check.
A shower nicer than my home? Check.(look, I’m jealous of the shower ok)
Every little detail you can see has been thought through. Pairing all this with Kyle‘s training and knowledge of the human body. It has helped my wife and I stay on track to achieve all our fitness goals. It helps that this is the most comfortable we’ve ever felt in a gym as well. Whether you’ve never worked out in your life, or you’re about to compete in an Ironman. This space and trainers will absolutely get you to wherever you need.

What a stellar gym! The Forge on Dyer not only offers curated fitness programs by knowledgeable and passionate trainers, they also offer recovery, focusing on overall body wellness.
