This was one of the best experiences at a hotel ever. I'm so fortunate that I got to stay here. Everyone was amazing and so friendly. JD in particular was an absolute superstar, but everyone else was also incredible. From the start, with getting dropped off at the entrance, everyone was so friendly and helpful. At the front desk, JD was super welcoming and accommodating. His energy and positive attitude was above and beyond anything I expected, and every interaction was very sincere. He remembered things that I had mentioned even the day before and that was lovely. I felt that way about him and every other person I interacted with here. This is a fantastic place. The room service and turn-down service are also incredible. I hope to come back next year.

As anyone who reads my reviews, I try to be always honest. Since we usually stay at Trip Advisor top rated hotels, it makes reviewing fairly easy.||We needed to stay away from our Houston home for one night due to a maintenance issue. I had been to the Spa at the Houstonian sometime ago but never the hotel. We live very close to the hotel and were intrigued by the many excellent reviews. So we stayed there on a Saturday night.||The hotel boasts renovated rooms. We were on the second floor in a corner King room, which was supposed to have a view of the grounds. Instead, we had some vegetation outside our large window but also a large piece of rusted equipment and the parking garage! A bit disappointing.||The room itself was nice but the furniture, in particularly the small coffee/refrigerator station, looked very worn. Surprisingly, there was no mini bar or snacks available for purchase either. Most five star hotels have a couple of gratis bottles of water in the room. Not here. Two bottles of water were on the desk at $7 a pop. There is a very tiny sundry store in the lobby but the snacks choices are limited. I guess the hotel wants patrons to simply call room service or use the tap water. There was an old school ice machine around the corner from our room which was helpful. ||Our only meal was breakfast at Tribute, the main restaurant in the hotel. Service was excellent and the somewhat limited menu was good. We did notice the linens, though, were a bit worn, which was surprising. ||On the plus side, the bathroom was well stocked with every amenity like a five star hotel. The room was spotless, had a night light in the bathroom, and level floors without worrying about a tripping hazard. And most importantly, everyone who works there is helpful and pleasant. ||We did not use the health club or spa facilities which are probably a draw for many visitors. All in all, a good stay but for almost $800 for a single night, not quite what we were expecting.

I stayed at the Houstonian for my son's wedding. I cannot say enough good things about the facility and the staff. The staff was ever-courteous and professional, always making us feel welcome. The facility and grounds are just gorgeous, and the amenities offered by the Houstonian are all I could ask for. Vanessa, the wedding coordinator at the Houstonian was always available, and stayed calm and courteous as we struggled with questionable weather. As if on cue, the weather cleared right before the outside wedding, but Vanessa was helping us with alternate options up to the last minute. I would recommend the Houstonian to anyone, but particularly for people looking for a magical wedding venue.

This is a well run hotel that manages major events while making each guest feel important and welcome. While there were a couple of minor glitches in the guest room, they did not diminish the overall experience of being in a well run hotel. If you are the type of guest who likes to find some imperfection to complain about, you might well find one. But for most, the quality and professionalism will overwhelm any blemishes.

Nothing short of spectacular! We enjoyed every aspect of this amazing oasis in the middle of an 8-million-person city! The entire business, from the hotel, to the gym, the restaurants, the spa, etc. treated my husband and I like royalty. Customer service is a priority. I enjoyed the different food options. It’s nice to have heated pools and a whirlpool. The grounds are beautiful and I utilized the walking/jogging trail. I hit the club 3/4/5 mornings per week after dropping g my daughter at school. The club is on my way home.

It is nice to be able to get a 30 min bike ride in along with a shower and clean shave before heading home to begin the work day.

As a resident member, I am able to grab a piece of fruit or two as well coming or going which is a healthier breakfast than eating fast food or donuts.

The gym is big but dated but all you really need are weights to workout. The group fitness classes are geared more to the old and feeble but you have an older woman running things so I guess that’s expected. Great location and a nice relaxing pool with a full bar. Wish they had a better selection of liquors but it’s still a decent selection. If you want a gym with top-of-the-line equipment and cutting edge fitness classes I would look at the lifetime diamond club in greenway plaza. They also have a very nice pool with a full bar and way cheaper (that’s where we decided to go instead). The Houstonian is more for the older people who can’t workout as hard and older people who want somewhere for their kids to play. There’s no golf course and it’s essentially a public club so people who want a real country club wouldn’t really like it either.

Our family loves the Houstonian Club. We have a Resident membership and enjoy the variety of programs and amenities. We most often use the gym where they have a wide variety of cardio and weight equipment/machines. The gym equipment is current and very well-maintained. If a machine is out of service it is only for a short time. I have never had to wait for a machine even during busy hours. The Club also offers just about every type of fitness class you may be looking for. There is a "regulation" 10-lane, heated outdoor pool; as well as, courts for tennis, racquetball, basketball, pickle ball, and paddle ball. On beautiful days, there is an outdoor running/walking track that circles the whole wooded property. Who will you see here? The Club is very family-oriented and you will see people of all ages who are fitness-minded and there to get a good work-out in (it's not a "meat market"). Our favorite thing about the Club are the people who work there. Clarence, Jaime, Ophelia, Blair, among others are a pleasure to talk with and always greet you with a smile.

This family oriented health and lifestyle club is the crown jewel of Houston’s private health clubs. It is a fantastic venue for the whole family to help build a lifestyle of health, exercise in a positive environment .
Becoming a member is not inexpensive, but for my family it has been the best investment for our life in the city. There is hardly a day we don’t spend time at the club, either exercising or socializing with other members .

The Bungalow is fantastic and our daughter loves her time there while we enjoy the facilities. All the personnel are courteous, competent, and eager to help. Its a great place to tone up a bit and relax. We love everything from the saunas to the hot tubs, pools, massage chairs, restaurant, and the rest. So glad to be a member!

Mostly older Houston crowd and young families. Non refundable initiation fees are $15,000 for an associate level or $25,000 for a resident level, per person. Pool area is nice, get there early as chairs are hard to find by mid day. Some of the furniture is dated but facility is kept clean. Friendly staff in most cases. Note to management: There's an Asian woman that takes the towels, razors and hair dryers in the resident area.. It should be addressed, as the constant stuffing of a duffle bag on a daily/weekly basis cheapens the experience.

Seit 10 Jahren kommen wir immer wieder gerne ins Houstonian. Ein Hotel mit Texanischen Flair. Wenn auch etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist es eine Oase in der Grossen City Houston. Die Zimmer sehr sauber und gediegen. Badezimmer nun leider etwas älter aber immernoch gut in Schuss. Pflegeprodukte von Loccitane. Eine perfekte Anlage mit eigenem Fitnessstudio, was keine Wünsche offen lässt. Schöne Poolanlagen. Joggingtrail im hauseigenen Park. Für uns steht fest, wir kommen nächstes Jahr wieder.

Estuve aquí durante cinco noches para participar de un evento de trabajo.||||Positivo: Es un hotel amplio y cómodo en un entorno muy agradable. Cuenta con grandes jardines, dos restaurantes, bar, complejo deportivo con un gimnasio de alta gama y dos piscinas preciosas, una de tipo resort para el relax y otra con carriles para práctica de natación.||||El servicio es impecable, cuentan con mucho personal y todos son muy profesionales, desde la gente de recepción hasta el personal de piscina o de la tienda en la que venden artículos de diverso tipo, desde bañadores o ropa deportiva, hasta cosméticos o perfumes.||||Una mención especial al joven Roberto quien conduce el lujoso vehículo de cortesía que el hotel pone a disposición de sus huéspedes para traslados cortos a la zona comercial de The Gallería Shopping.||||Prácticamente la totalidad del personal es bilingüe en inglés y español y eso hace muy confortable la estancia.||||Mi habitación era muy amplia y contaba con un cama king size, tv de 50 pulgadas, minibar, escritorio, etc. El baño, en cambio, era muy pequeño con una mini bañera en la que alguien de 1.80 mt como yo no tiene opción de relajarse.||||Buenas toallas, buenos amenities, almohadas confortables, colchón de resortes (demasiado blando), caja de seguridad, etc..||||Negativo: En primer lugar el precio, pues con una tarifa "especial" he pagado 1.700USD por cinco noches sin tener siquiera incluido el desayuno, y me parece un abuso.||||El spa no lo he probado por la misma razón, un masaje no baja de los 300USD||||La decoración es anticuada y algo raída, con motivos de caza típicos de un cottage escocés o algo parecido.||||Profusión de maderas oscuras, brocatos de seda recargados, alfombras, arreglos de flores artificales, lamparas de bronce, esculturas de ciervos, etc..||||La zona de comedor del restaurante principal es sencillamente deprimente, desde los manteles hasta el suelo hasta lo incómodo de las sillas o los murales. El primer día pedí para desayunar un zumo, dos huevos fritos con bacon, un té y tostadas y la cuenta subió a 30 USD...no he vuelto.||||Lo único que lo salva es la atención de su personal.||||Otro tema importante: La zona de pisicinas y gimasio es en realidad un club aparte del hotel al que los huéspedes tienen acceso gratuito. El problema es que por las tardes la piscina se llena de niños en prácticas de natación, con sus madres y entrenadores....cero relax.||||No tengo dudas que hay muchas y mejore opciones de hoteles en Houston, con más estilo, más modernas y con mejores precios.

Mi hotel favorito de Houston, con una muy buena ubicación sobre todo si traes coche y si no el hotel te da el servicio de transporte. Ubicado en un lugar hermoso, desde que entras sus jardines te cautivan, el lobby precioso, las habitaciones con ventanas de suelo a techo que te regalan una vista verde y llena de paz. Cuenta con sus tracks para caminar, alberca, gimnasio, restaurante con la cocina abierta; tiene todos los lujos de un gran hotel, conservando el tamaño ideal para sentirte como en casa. Dieses Hotel liegt mitten in einer privaten Anlage. Umgeben von Grün ist es sehr ruhig. Es gibt Spazierwege rund um einen See - alles auf dem Gelände. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend (manchmal ein bisschen zu sehr). Das Hotel ist im Houston Stil gebaut, sehr gediegen und groß, mit schweren Möbeln und dicken Teppichen; ein Nobelhotel. Es ist relativ teuer hat aber auch specials. Die sollte man nutzen, wenn sie angeboten werden. Es lohnt sich.

Gleich neben dem Highway und dennoch in einer grünen Oase ist diese Nobelherberge gelegen. Wenn auch nicht mehr ganz taufrisch, so strahlt das Haus dennoch Eleganz aus. Die Zimmer sind groß, gut eingerichtet, wennglecih etwas plüschig. Drei Pools und ein riesiges Sport-Zentrum lassen jede Art von Aktiverholung zu. Estuve de visita en un evento desayuno en uno de los salones. El hotel está dentro de la ciudad pero da la sensación de estar fuera. Para llegar al estacionamiento pasas por jardines y un recorrido de curvas muy agradable. Los salones muy cercanos al estacionamiento y la atención excelente. He estado varias veces en este hotel spa por cuestiones de trabajo, pero solo en esta oportunidad pude disfrutarlo de mejor manera y es muy bueno. El hotel no es barato pero no es extremadamente costoso, se pueden conseguir precios asequibles en páginas como esta. Las habitaciones son grandes cómodas y de primera; el sitio es divino, Concha zona verde y el gimnasio y spa son muy buenos.el hotel cuenta con transporte al mall Galeria donde puedes caminar (te llevan y te recién). ||Es un sitio costoso pero vale la pena si lo puedes disfrutar.

Plein de businessmen (c'est le but, on ne vient pas dans le coin pour le tourisme), l'hôtel dispose de belles chambres, d'un personnel très accueillant et réellement compétent, et surtout d'une immense salle de sport. Située à 100m à pieds, cette salle est un club superbement équipé destiné aux habitants du quartier (très riche) qui en sont les très heureux membres. Accessible gratuitement aux clients de l'hôtel, il constitue un vrai plus pour choisir cet hôtel plutôt que ceux plus proches de la Galleria. Des navettes vous emmènent d'ailleurs à la Galleria qui est à environ 2 miles, donc on peut venir sans voiture de location si on est là pour le boulot. Le restaurant de l'hôtel propose des plats très réussis (excellent saumon grillé), avec des prix néanmoins élevés (compter 60 $ pour plat+verre de vin+dessert). Si votre séjour est privé, cherchez les prix sur le net pour ne pas payer plein pot, car alors l'addition est réellement élevée. Mais avec un prix de 200$ sur les sites spécialisés, le Houstonian est un excellent choix

Das Houstonian war der die letzte Station unseres Texas-trips - und zweifelsfrei die Beste. Freundlicher Service auf höchstem Niveau, gut ausgestattet und gepflegte Zimmer, gute Lage und nicht zu vergessen der angeschlossene Fitness-Club, der schon alleine den Besuch rechtfertigt. Von der Warte aus stimmt auch das Preis-LeistungsVerhältnis.

Hotel haut de game avec de nombreux services. Un peu isole. Le restaurant est hors de prix. Pas de buffet le matin. Les chambres sont les nez contre la vegetation exterieure. C'est un peu etouffant.||La clim est assez bruyante pour un hotel de cette gamme. Royal sonesta non loin de la est un meilleur rapport qualite prix localisation

Diese Hotel ist nicht einfach zu bewerten. Die Flure und Zimmer wirken teilweise etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Zimmer sind teilweise "gefühlt" im Untergeschoß. ||Aber in diesem Hotel stimmt trotzdem alles. Guter Service, riesiges Areal mit kostenloser Nutzung des Fitnesscenters, 3(!) wunderbare Pools, Tennisplätze (Ausleihe von Schlägern und Bällen inkl.) und Kletterwand.

Je suis très content d’avoir réservé cet hôtel pour une semaine de travail avec des partenaires commerciaux. L’hôtel est situe a moins d’un kilomètre du centre commercial de Houston Nord et des bureaux de mes associés. La piscine, la salle de gym, le spa et le parc sont très relaxant pour la fin de la journée. La nourriture est très bonne pour Houston et les chambres sont confortables. Vous aurez absolument besoin d’une voiture pour aller de l’aéroport à l’hôtel et autour de l’hôtel. Il n’y a pas de magasins a proximité.

Das Houstonian Hotel & Spa hält was der Titel verspricht - nicht nur ist es ein sehr schönes Hotel in schöner Lage, umgeben von viel grün, sondern verfügt es auch ueber einen fantastischen Sportbereich. Das Sportangebot kann mit vielen Fitnessstudios mithalten, neben den üblichen Fitnessgeräten gibt es ~80Ausdauergeraete, Squash-, Tennis-, Basketballplätze, eine free-climbing Wall und Boxringe. Darüberhinaus gibt es eine vielzahl an Spinning, Pilates & Yogakursen.||Die Saunen koennten ein wenig stimmungsvoller eingerichtet sein, man sitzt quasi in grellem & hellem Licht mitten in der Umkleidekabine.||||Einzig die Öffnungszeiten, der Sportbereich schließt bereits um22 Uhr, sind für Geschäftsreisende unter der Woche häufig nicht einzuhalten.
