I loved taking this teacher training! From the first week, the way I practice, teach and think started changing for the better. Thank you so much for the amazing instructors who made every module interesting and fun.

Deeply impactful Yoga Teacher Training. Understanding the science of the brain and self regulation and how that intersects with traditional Yoga has been huge. Not only did we learn these things, but we were able to embrace tools to teach others effectively as well. Highly recommend.

Please note that most of the reviews of this site are by people who have or are currently working for Lispy. If you want a true review of this training program, please talk to one of the participants. If you are a mental health professional looking to add yoga and meditation to your practice, I highly discourage you from attending this training. There are several good yoga training programs in DFW that are being run in an ethical and professional manner. I encourage you to really do your research and attend one of those programs.

Completely different experience and skill set than my YTT. This school is taking yoga, movement and mental health to a whole new level. I’m thrilled w/my training and my journey with this new career path in yoga!

LISPY has been nothing short of EXCEPTIONAL. This is my second teacher training and I am learning so much! This training has really helped me to understand the benefits of yoga on the nervous system and how to utilize yogic techniques to heal the body and mind. This is good stuff! Highly recommended!

The LISPY School reviews listed include many people with financial ties to the group. For example, Kim who you can schedule an appointment with at the LISPY School gives the group great reviews. Gee I wonder why? Additionally, Melanie Wells who helped create the LISPY School and has a vested financial interest in its success reviews the group twice on Facebook. I can't tell you how depressed and sad these actions make me feel. Especially as someone who got threatening emails from Melanie Wells and experiences flashbacks to my time at Lifeologie/ the LISPY School.

I have been thoroughly impressed and blown away by the expertise and passion of the LISPY instructors, and the intentional creation of the training. As a 'talk therapist' I know there are limitations to the work I do in helping clients feel better. I am so excited that LISPY's program is helping me to offer psychotherapeutic yogic techniques to help clients feel relief and make further progress with their body image concerns, anxiety, disordered eating etc.

For the past year I have had the pleasure of attending a weekly yoga class taught by Laura Abbott Coan, and it has proved to be invaluable to my health and state of mind. Yoga was not part of my routine prior to this class, and now I can't imagine it NOT being a part of my life.

The LISPY School was an amazing 10 month experience in yoga certification. Not only did it bring more value to my own life but I have seen the incredible shifts and changes that it has brought to my clients lives. My experience brought me back to the authentic foundations of what yoga was originally intended to be and broadened my deep appreciation and belief in this practice.

Daily stressors, and more serious mental challenges such as depression and anxiety are addressed through this holistic approach that combines both eastern and western medicine. The innovative approach brings body and mind into play through guided meditation, breathing and postures which stimulate the nervous system and physical body. The training is unique and brings such value to practitioners of all abilities who want to go beyond the boundaries of one or the other approach. Love!
