My 8 yo, 6 yo, and 4 yo old attend 2 separate classes here. They have taken gymnastics classes else where and prefer the classes here over the more formal competative classes at larger gyms. The girls can all confidently do basic gymnastics moves. They have learned a lot of balance and other key skills in the classes. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Little Gym to anyone looking for gymnastics classes for thier young kids.

I’m leaving this review to give future employees a realistic picture of what to expect. My daughter was let go from The Little Gym of Coppell over text the morning after her shift. She spoke to the manager in person the night before, so it was surprising and honestly unprofessional that something this serious was not addressed face to face. For a business that teaches children about communication, the lack of basic communication with staff is disappointing.
What made it even crazier is that the manager followed the firing text with unsolicited “advice” about what roles he thinks she is suited for, even though he had only known her for a few weeks. The audacity is something else, especially considering my daughter has over four years of real coaching experience at a competitive cheer gym. She has taught classes, led a mini competition team, and managed large groups of energetic kids. Working with children has never been an issue for her. She knew every gym is different and even shifted her coaching to match their fun, non-competitive style. She really did everything she could to fit what they wanted.
She genuinely liked the rest of the staff, but the high turnover rate suddenly makes a lot more sense. My husband has owned his own business for years, and in talking with him and getting his thoughts he thought this was VERY unprofessional as well, something a REAL business man would never do. Handling something this important through a quick message instead of an in-person conversation shows a serious lack of leadership and respect. I do hope your business well sir, but a bit of “friendly advice” like you offered my young daughter…in owning a business you can’t hide behind a text message.
I hope future employees are treated with more courtesy and given the professionalism they deserve.

My 7-year-old daughter has been doing gymnastics here for over a year, and she has loved it! It’s been wonderful for her development — when she started, she had no idea how to do a cartwheel, and now she’s so proud of herself because she can do cartwheels and other exercises confidently.
The coaches are always so kind, fun, and professional, and the atmosphere is very positive. It’s a great place for kids to learn and grow, and there’s a nice, comfortable area for parents to sit and watch. We’ve had a great experience and truly appreciate the whole team!

Little Gym of Coppell is exceptional. Our daughter started going there when she was 10 months old and she was still struggling to crawl. There is no denying that Little Gym helped her progress and even catch up in her classmates. She is now been going for almost 2 years and loves every class. The coaches and owner (Nathan) definitely help the kids achieve their potential while being incredibly inviting to new classmates and family members from out of town.

The positive impact that Little Gym has had on my granddaughter is truly amazing. The professionalism and kindness shown to the children, and the parents of this facility is first rate. I am delighted that they continue to improve on their classes.

Great facility and coaches. Have been to multiple older dallas locations and while it took a hair to get the all new staff up to speed they're in good shape now. Coach Nathan tries to be fair and look out for everyone's experience. Sometimes that means some kids aren't a good fit for the class

We love The Little Gym! The instructors are so patient, encouraging, and truly make the classes fun. My children looks forward to every session and has gained so much confidence, strength, and coordination. The environment is safe, clean, and welcoming, and the activities are always well thought out. It’s the perfect mix of learning, movement, and play. Highly recommend for any family looking to help their kids grow, both physically and socially!

The owner, Nathan, is a narcissist and does not understand how to treat children or families.
We were members for over a year and put up with a lot of the way he treated us because our kids loved playing at little gym. The bad has now outweighed the good. And because Nathan can't own it and apologize like a grown up I will leave this review.
Nathan repeatedly called children bullies. My children, others children. He repeatedly gossiped about other families and even our own family to others. He can't keep staff members because of how horrible he treats them. I have had two staff members after they quit personally talk to me about how horrible he was to them.
Our final straw was when he flat out lied to our friend, telling her the class was full. 3 instructors and 5 kids, clearly not full. While her child screamed and cried because he wanted to go into class. Nate did not want our kids in class together because they get "too silly" and chose to wait until class time to not let a child in. And couldn't even have the guts to actually say the real reason. You don't wait until a child is in the lobby ready for class to not let them in. A 4 year old has been looking forward to it all day and does not understand. All three kids involved in this situation were visibly upset. Nate has chosen not to apologize whatsoever, a true narcissist.
Nate will expect your child to act perfect in class. He will kick your kid out of class when they are not or ask you to go in to class. As a former teacher who studied child development, his expectations are WAY too high. And I am not just speaking for my kids I am speaking for the dozens of families I have watched him do this to. If he could keep staff members and they could be trained classroom management would be SO MUCH better. We have put up with a lot of poorly planned classes, no instructors, and under-qualified instructors as the business was starting. Yet, the story never changed he would always blame a child before looking at what else could be an issue at hand.
Any review you read on here about how the owner treated someone poorly, believe it, and take your children elsewhere.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! ALERT! I had a hard time getting someone to answer the number on their website. When someone finally answered, it was a very rude, man who showed lack of professionalism and attention to detail. He is hurting the business. I briefly explained to him, I needed to get more information for my twin boys birthday party (turning 7). He immediately talked over me and would not listen. He began to make comments that are very discriminatory. He said, “This will not be a good match for you if they are boys “boys tend to be more routy (rowdy)”. I told him this will be a mixed party boys and girls ages 4 to 11 and again he repeated “because they are boys and over 7 years, I don’t think this place will be a good fit for you” I tried to speak again, it was hard because he lacks listening skills.I asked a second question about food and allowing pizza during the party rental, he interrupted once again not replying to my question he said, “we are not a fit for your party because I assume you will have boys over 7 years.” This is bad business, he is not interested in growing this business. What if I have other children (girl under 7)and in the future, I want to celebrate her at the little gym? What if I want to refer your business to a friend or family that have little girls? Why did he make the assumption that boys are more routy than girls? Is that how you treat your future customer? Only because mine are boys and 7? Your website is not specific about gender and my boys are within the age group stated in your page. He did not listen, I had many questions I was unable to ask. He assumed quickly and lost my family and friends as customers. I will contact corporate as well. I have read reviews this is not the first time, he has also done similar offenses to others in the past. He should not be running a children’s business. He is being unfair to both parent/child making those discriminatory statements. I would not trust to leave my child under his care or to visit this facility.

We love the Little Gym of Coppell! We’ve taken our son starting around 12 months or so and he always has a blast. Coach Lindsay is so great with the little ones. It’s been fun seeing him learn new skills and gain more confidence each time! The owner, Nathan, is usually involved with the classes too and is really sweet with the kiddos. The facilities are clean and nice, in fact Nathan immediately starts sanitizing balls as soon as the class is over. Definitely recommend checking out the Little Gym if you have an active little one!

Very disappointed with our experience at this location. I accidentally scheduled my daughter’s trial class at a different Little Gym, and my husband unknowingly showed up at the wrong one. The man at the front desk was not helpful at all. He told my husband to wait until 12:30 “just in case” she was on the list, so they sat in the car to wait—this was before we realized the mistake.
After I confirmed it was the wrong location, my husband went back in and explained that our daughter was crying in the car and really wanted to try the class that day. Instead of showing any empathy or trying to help, the guy simply told him to reschedule online and pay a $10 fee. No effort to accommodate us, even though we were ready and willing to pay for the class.
To make matters worse, I had called the location several times before and no one answered. He eventually called me back, but when I tried to explain what happened, he constantly talked over me and didn’t let me finish a sentence. The lack of compassion, professionalism, and basic customer service—especially at a place that caters to children—was very disappointing.
Even though we were at the wrong location, the situation could have been handled with a lot more kindness and understanding. We won’t be returning to this location.

The instructors were nice and one of them was especially attentive to my 7month old because she wasn’t able to do much that the other kids were since she’s not crawling yet but she still made her included. It’s very clean and when I was leaving I saw them starting to clean again.
Something I could suggest is having more things for older kids to do while waiting for their younger siblings class to be done like a TV with movies or something in the sitting area. There was one bigger kid running around with the babies that made me a little nervous. Of course that wasn’t their fault, but it would be helpful for the ones that have multiple kids.

The owner NATHAN IS A HORRIBLE owner. He was extremely rude to me a pregnant woman and my 3 year old son. He clearly had an underline prejudice against my little boy. My son came into the Little Gym full of excitement and apparently by Nathan’s words, it was “too much excitement” for him and he told my child he wasn’t allowed in the gym. Giving a 3 year old nasty looks and all because my baby was excited and needed a little bit of time to refocus because of this new exciting surrounding. He didn’t give my son a chance to be a kid. A KID WHO HAS ONLY HEEN ALIVE FOR 3 YEARS. My little boy left crying from disappointment from how he was treated and that he couldn’t do the gymnastics that he waited all morning to do.Two employees literally ran after me apologizing (who were incredibly kind) and explained that it was NATHAN’s behavior and not my developing 3 year old. The director (bless her heart) explained that this isn’t the first time the owner has displayed terrible behavior towards children and that she’s had to contact corporate on him because of his behavior. She even informed me that she will not be staying there because of him. Another employee even became emotional and cried in the parking lot because of HOW TERRIBLE NATHAN WAS/ continues to be. Please note, Nathan is the one that will be working with your children. He does not know how to speak or work with young children. Maybe if your son looks like mine, a curly headed mixed kid, you should just go elsewhere period. AVOID THE LITTLE GYM OF COPPELL AT ALL COST. I’ve been advised to take them to any other location other than the Little Gym of Coppell. Truly horrible and traumatic experience for my baby boy and for me as a first time mother. Parents, take your money elsewhere and save yourself the heartache and disappointment.

A few weeks ago some friends and I got into a car accident (everyone involved was ok) on MacArthur right next to them. After a little while standing in out in the brisk weather someone from Little Gym came out and gave us hot chocolate and some snacks and asked if we were all ok. Never been there and dont have kids, but the woman who came out was super nice and that hot chocolate went along way that evening, thanks again!
