My ex and I stumbled upon the Little Gym of Katy, and it has honestly been one of the best discoveries for our energetic toddler! Every single visit, whether it's class or open gym, is an absolute joy for our daughter. She runs, jumps, climbs, and giggles with pure delight, and it warms our hearts to see her having so much fun. The Little Gym team has fostered a love of movement and learning in her, and we're already seeing amazing progress in her gymnastics skills at such a young age.

A special shout-out to Miss Maria – she is a superstar! Her boundless energy, patience, and genuine warmth make her an incredible teacher. She has a way of making every child feel special and capable. Of course, all the instructors at the Little Gym deserve praise for creating a safe, nurturing, and incredibly fun space for our kids.

The Little Gym has had constant staff and student turnover, my toddler had over four different instructors in less than a year, and classmates changed constantly. This lack of consistency made it hard for my child to feel secure or build lasting connections.

We gave notice on 7/21, after our last class on 7/8. Our final payment, made on 7/18, covering the full period of 7/18–8/18, provided a month of notice and payment during which we are not receiving any services. Despite this, they’re still attempting to charge us for yet another month (8/18–9/18), citing a technicality in notice timing, a mere few days difference.

Trying to collect payment for two full months without providing any service is not just disappointing, it’s exploitative. It shows a disregard for families and a priority on squeezing out every last dollar rather than operating with fairness or goodwill. After nearly a year of commitment, this left a very sour impression and I would not recommend this business based on the turnover and greedy business practices.

We went to TLG for a little over a month with our toddler & it was great we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Miss Gen is SO SWEET & a great instructor. Be aware, however, to always read everything when you start because whenever you do cancel, you will be billed 1 more tuition fee.

As a mom who has been bringing my daughter to The Little Gym for three months, I feel compelled to share my recent experience. Unfortunately, it was awful. They claimed my card on file was declined, but it always had funds. The same day I left in frustration, they ran the card without any issue. It’s hard enough juggling kids and schedules; the last thing I expected was to be embarrassed in front of everyone.

When the staff told me I had to take my daughter out of class, I felt completely picked on. I had just agreed to update my payment card after class, and instead of understanding, the owner, Nicole, showed no sympathy. It was like talking to a brick wall—she interrupted me every time I tried to explain our situation. After driving 40 minutes from Richmond to this Katy location, I felt let down by their lack of care.

Adding to my frustration, they don’t have a sick policy. My daughter got sick three times and missed two classes, but they wouldn’t let her make them up, even though they charged my card. Kids get sick—it’s part of life. But when you see a child throwing up on the mat, shouldn’t there be a policy to protect the other kids? I shouldn’t have to worry about my child getting sick when I’m paying so much. Honestly, I could just take her to McDonald’s for that experience.

I also can’t shake the feeling that I was treated differently because of my race. It’s disheartening to think that could be a factor in how we were treated. Maybe other locations are better, but this one run by Nicole, who claims to be the owner, is not the place I’d recommend for my child or any other child. I will be filing a complaint with corporate in hopes that things change. For $110 a month, you get about 10 minutes of actual class interaction, and the rest is just free play with limited equipment. Save your money and consider other options where your child will be valued and cared for.

Very unpleasant experience, I felt mistreated, and I would not recommend bringing your children here due to the negative environment created by management. Save yourself the time and frustration. We have been with TLG for many years. The birthday parties are wonderful, and the staff is generally very sweet. It's more for younger kids, I think once you hit the 5+ age range it's not as useful for them. We are also being billed for another month AFTER cancelling, despite not having come to a class for 2+ months that we paid for... when I asked if we could use our more than 2 months of make up and not be billed again I was told it's the policy. The billing has unfortunately changed a lot since we started at TLG (new management a few years ago) all I can say is cancel as soon as you think you might want to, because they're very happy to keep billing you when you're not even there. Pretty irritated that this is the way things are ending after 5+ years off and on at TLG, but we will not be back.

Signed my granddaughter up for the bugs class which was a good time until she contracted the Molluscum Virus from playing here as she doesn’t attend day care. I’ve called 2x to express my concern on the cleanliness i saw with my own eyes and how the other parents should be warned so that they can be aware it as of today no one has returned my calls.This is concerning and needs to be addressed.

We absolutely LOVE the little gym for our kids! My son attended for years and my daughter is currently in classes and loves it. As a physical therapist it is awesome to see the kids be able to be challenged and build confidence in themselves! Teachers are engaging and supportive, I am always so impressed how quickly they learn all of the children’s names and incorporate them as a part of the group. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

We love the Little Gym! We’ve done the mommy & me and preschool classes off and on for about 4 years now, and a had fabulous easy birthday party there this year. They meet your child at their developmental level - have extra staff on hand to help when a child needs more attention or the class size increases. The classes are very helpful for school-readiness, except with no pressure, only fun!
Staff cleans in between each class and sanitizes all the toys/props. Management has been very flexible and prioritizes customer service.

We have been going to The Little Gym of Katy for the past nearly 8 years and love it! We have 3 children and have the best memories bringing them all to play, learn and grow at the gym! Mrs. Kristen, Mr. Martel and Mrs. Kim have all been the best with my kiddos, along with all the other fantastic staff over the years! It’s always clean, I see them cleaning the floors and equipment often and meticulously between classes. We even went to the gym during the pandemic and felt confident in how they helped keep our kids safe! We have done camps and parent survival nights, leaving our kids in their care on multiple occasions and we’re confident in their ability to care for our kids. We love the little gym and can’t wait for more years of memories there!

We have been attending TLG Katy for 2 years and it's like a second home for our son. We have been with The Little Gym of Katy over 2yrs and absolutely love it! Mr Martel is kind and patient with the little ones and my kiddo loves him. All staff have been great with the kids and Ms Kim has a way with the kids to make them feel comfortable. I’ve never had any issues with any staff and from what I have seen, they sanitize what the little ones touch. Of course you cannot control every single germ. That’s just how it is in a public place but I do see them sanitize things. We will continue to go to this gym until the little one says she no longer wants to go. 😊

We love the little gym of Katy so much!! Have been coming here for 2+ years. The instructors have become like family - both my kids are always greeted with big hugs by the teachers as soon as we walk in and they talk about “gym class” at home all the time. I can’t talk highly enough about the instructors! To name some, Miss Kim (the director), Maria, Lilly, Valeria, Martel, Layla, and more! They have so much patience for the kids and get really attached to them, which is sweet. We also enjoy going to open gyms/ story time which they have available daily. I love how intentional they are with their lessons, every week has a different theme, they always explain why they’re focusing on something in particular and why they do certain activity. It’s nice to know that all the activities they do in class have a purpose.
Also, We did my son’s 2nd birthday party here and it was the best. So easy! You basically just show up and they take care of everything. Everyone had a blast!

My 3 kids have been attending classes since they were babies and we love to see all their wonderful teachers every week! All the teachers are very focused on safety and making sure that the kids are taking learning new things the safe way. It's wonderful to see the love that the teachers and staff show my children!

We have been attending Little Gym of Katy since April 2022. My oldest, now 3.5, started there and was very timid, but Ms. Kim knows just how to cater to each child to get them confident in the skill that is being taught. He now has gained a lot of confidence and has even started attending their camps where I drop him off for 3 hours with his favorite Little Gym teacher, Mr. Martell.

All the teachers there are so wonderful and know each child’s name. Like you’re literally greeted by name every time you walk in. It’s amazing.

My youngest, now 15 months, started when he was 9 months and has enjoyed every minute of it. When I’m in his class with him (parent/child) my oldest hangs out in the lobby and the other teachers will play legos with him, color, or just play games. I feel like they go above and beyond what is required of them.

Also, the gym is very clean and I’ve seen them wiping down surfaces before the next class walks in.

I highly recommend The Little Gym of Katy. Ms. Kim holds her gym and her teachers to the highest standard and it definitely shows.

Edited 2 years later (and still loving it)!! The little gym is one of my 3 year olds favorite times of the week. Getting to play with other kids and her favorite teachers (Miss Gen and Mr.martel)! We love the little gym and continue to recommend it!

Horrible and unsanitary. Not once did I see them disinfect the area, and so I asked if I could keep my 4-month old socks on due to them not sanitizing the area. The regional manager Kim was very rude. Therefore, I asked for a refund and she acted as if she didn't want to give me a refund. Save your money. Highly recommend TLG, especially to parents who are unfamiliar with gymnastics or are looking for the first "extracurricular" activity for your child to do. They keep things very clean, the instructors are constantly trying to include all the kiddos, and this really feels like a judgement free zone. At first I got a bit anxious when my child would run off to explore rather than stay and do the activities on the mat, but after lots of reassurance from the instructors I realized independent exploration is great for them, and they do pick up the things that are happening and the skills they're learning. My child has seen a huge improvement of skills, from cool gymnastics tricks to simply waiting for their turn. Another great thing is the way they start and end classes with a song as a way to transition the kids attention to and from class!

This specific location seems to only cater to a specific demographic.I signed my daughter up for the trial class that, online, said the ages were 3-6. When we arrived I was informed that the class was for 3-5 and offered to join and/or stay for the appropriate class that day. As we were on a tight schedule, I declined and asked could we try again the next week. I was informed that we would not be able to attend the correct intro/trial class the next week and offered the option to enroll instead. Upon making it home I received a message saying that we could attend the appropriate trial class the following weekend after we had already made other plans. We ultimately chose a different gymnastics company.

Great place for birthday parties!!! Just had my daughters 4th birthday party at this location. We booked the princess theme party. They took care of everything. They decorated, set everything up, welcomed the guest, served the food, cut the cake, etc. They kept the kids entertained. All employees are very nice. Also, the place is very clean. After two years at the little of Katy, I requested to freeze the account due to an international trip. This option was not given to me, so I decided to withdraw. Once I withdraw they charged me for a whole month and a half and when called to see what could be done since I had not been at the title gym for more than 1 month and a half I was told nothing could be done and it was my fault as did not communicate with them. My child had more than 10 missed classes and in the meantime my credit card was charged for the annual fee of $40 WITHOUT notice.

I hate to give bad reviews, and the girls that teach at this location are great, especially Miss Jay. However I have been a member of the Little Gym of the Heights for over 2 years and they staff was always very accommodating.This location absolutely lacks any type of up common sense or understating.

Last night The Little Gym hosted a Daddy Daughter Dance that I attended with my step daughter. We had a blast! They decorated, had a photo booth set up, we played games and danced. The staff was super friendly as always, and made the girls feel very special. You can tell they truly care about the experience of their members. The classes have great structure, and they always have extra events like this for their members. I have seen this place improve her skills and confidence.

My son was born 2 months premature and with a condition called clubfoot. After spending more than 2 years being poked at and having surgery,cast it made him scared of the world. They are so wonderful with him and have made him come out of his shell. They are also really good with my daughter. The thing I love most is they never push the kids to do something they aren't ready for and always let them know they can join when they are ready to. My kids favorites are Mr. Martell and Ms. Angela. If you are looking for some where to bring your kids where they treat you like family and not just a $ sign this is the place for your kids

My son began his experience at little gym when he was 18 months and he had a brand new sister so he needed some "special time." I was initially concerned because when you break down the price it seems quite expensive, $20 per class, but the gym does give the option of 5 "open gyms" per week which changes the price per class considerably. The open gyms are open play for the kids; One may practice skills for the week, work on personal goals, or simply being around another adult while your child plays safely (which at times is kinda necessary).
My family loves the gym not only because my son enjoys going, but because they cater to our entire family. If we cannot go and need to cancel the make up policy is very flexible, but more important, they are willing to accommodate our tiny baby to allow our toddler to go to class and have "his time". Now they both enjoy going to Little Gym and love the attention they get from the staff. We are welcomed like family and it makes me feel safe with my children there. I also appreciate the fact the staff listens to and addresses concerns and suggestions immediately.
Both my son and daughter love Ms. Angela and Ms. Kristen and my son now responds to their repetitive songs, which helps him do things at home like put up his toys and better understand how to handle transitions.

The only complaint I have about Little Gym at present is they do not have a class I could take my daughter to because they don't have a class for very tiny people after my husband gets off work to watch my older child. I have been assured I would be notified if this changes though.

We are expats (not white) and never experienced any kind of racism here, actually, the opposite! Everyone in staff is so nice and friendly. My son and daughter love their class. The class is so much fun, they teach the child basic gymnastics skills but what I think we like must is that they have so much fun!!! It is not a rigorous or strict kind of class (like other gyms we have been) They play a lot and coaches are so patient!! The mats are clean and equipment looks in perfect condition. Also, we recently had our daughter birthday party and we LOVED it!!!!!! It was way better than we expected. Mr.Martell does an excellent job playing and doing all activities with the kids, it is so funny!! And there were other two people helping with everything, I mean, they did everything for me!!!! I have nothing but praise for the little gym of Katy. I started my daughter there when she was 9 months old after trying out a couple of other places which she didn’t like. My daughter is now 4 and still loves it! We recently had to leave so she could start full time school, but we still go back for camps and parent survival nights. The teachers here are what really make the little gym a great place to send your kids to. They have boundless energy and patience and all the children adore them. We may not attend full time classes anymore, but my daughter still talks about how much she loves it there and how she misses her friends and teachers. A big shout out to Miss Angela, Miss Harley, Miss Tasha, Mr Martel, Ms Pat, Miss O, Miss Regina, Miss Kimberley, and Miss Kristen who have made the little gym, over these past few years, my daughters favourite place to be.

Both of my kids love The Little Gym! My oldest is in the Little Wonders class which is a preschool and gym class 2 days a week. It is such a great introductory to school. I wasn’t sure how my oldest would do since he had never been to school, or daycare before. The first day he had a blast and loved his teacher. I really couldn’t have asked for a better teacher for my child. Miss Angela is kind, patient, and acts like each kid is one of her own.
As for my youngest, he had Miss Kristen as his gym teacher. She is so energetic, sweet, and fun with all of her students. I know how much he loves her when every time he sees her, he gives her a huge hug!! The class is made up of small skills around the gym and some fun in between.
The facility is very clean, and after each class they are always mopping and disinfecting.
Every staff member I have met loves to be around kids, and my kids have a blast with them! I would recommend The Little Gym to anyone, if there were more stars to add, I would!

Horrible too many kiddos on monday classes, plus if u want to make up the days they don't left u it just wasting money and time and the staff yelling at the kiddos

My son loves going to The Little Gym of Katy. The instructors are so caring and wonderful. I had a medical issue and was unable to do the activities with my son. Instead of him missing out, the instructors helped me by doing the activities with him.

My son has been attending the bugs and now birds class for about 6 months now. He has enjoyed going to class and interacting with other kids. I can't say he retains much in the class yet as he's only 1, but it's a great place for us to get out of the house and just do something different.

We love it!
Whenever I mention the little gym my son gets so excited!! It def one of his very favorite places to go spend time. We really like the staff as well! Mrs. Pat remembered my son even after we hadn't seen her in a year, Mrs Tasha is always super helpful, and Mrs. Lindsey, his last teacher, was amazing! All of them are really wonderful teachers as we have had the chance to experience all of them!!
We also had his birthday party here and it was amazing as well! The kids loved all of the activities that they had ready for them and I got so many parents telling me how awesome the party was! We will def consider it for next year as well, though you never know what a four year old is going to want😂 I'll let him make the decision when the time comes😊 (he'll probably say yes again!)

I ABSOLUTELY love the Little Gym. This is our third year enrolling with them and the staff is always super nice. Ms Tasha has always been very helpful and my daughter is very pleased with her instructors, and I'm happy announce that my son has also turned towards gymnastics at this location.Way to go Little Gym!
