My daughter Ellerie absolutely loves The Little Gym Plano. She’s at that age where climbing on everything is her favorite hobby, and this place gives her the perfect space to do just that, safely and independently.
As a parent, I love that she’s not only having fun but also building important skills like coordination and confidence. The gym is clean, well organized and full of energy!
I can’t recommend the Little Gym Plano more if your child loves to climb, explore and play.

The Little Gym Plano has been such a special place for our family. Coach Remi and Coach Kai are truly wonderful, patient, fun, and always encouraging. Along with all the staff and families, they created an environment where Renata could grow, learn, and gain confidence while having a great time.

The Little Gym is the highlight of our week. My baby girl lights up the moment she sees the door. Everyone on staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly. The classes are laid back and fun with no expectations or pressure other than having a good time. There is a diverse crowd and tons of classes and time options. My little girl loves to see the other babies and socialize and LOVES the teachers. Following the response you gave to my wife, Lili Shahi,we feel compelled to address the inaccuracies and lack of accountability in your message.

We are extremely disappointed by your response, particularly because it contains fabricated truths and an evident attempt to rewrite the narrative to avoid responsibility.

First, your claim that this is the “second occurrence” of biting is completely false. We were never informed—verbally, by email, or by text—of any previous biting incident. One of us has been physically present at every single class, and if such an incident had occurred, we absolutely would have been made aware. The fact that this is only being brought up now, weeks later, is deeply concerning and suggests you are creating a false history to justify your actions.

Second, your comment about a “temporary break” is disingenuous. We did not receive any communication at all—not a phone call, not an email, and not even a text message. We were completely blindsided at the door. If your intent was truly open communication, you had multiple ways to reach out and simply chose not to. That’s not transparency—that’s avoidance.

Third, You gave us specific instructions not to intervene—even if our child needed emotional or behavioral support—and now you’re penalizing us for following those directions. It is not our responsibility to manage class dynamics when we were explicitly told to remain on the sidelines. Your coaches failed to step in during a clear moment of tension, and instead of acknowledging that, you’ve decided to blame the parents who were respecting your rules.

Lastly, let’s be honest—this situation escalated because a particularly aggressive parent made a scene. Your response to her was immediate, while your response to us was dismissive. It’s clear you made a business decision based on pressure from a single parent rather than fairness or truth.

What’s happened here is unacceptable. Our child was unfairly removed from a class they loved, based on poor supervision, fabrication of truth, and a lack of professionalism. We expect accountability—not a polished PR statement filled with distortions.

If you are truly committed to working with families, then own your mistakes and stop rewriting the story to protect your staff’s failures.

I had been bringing my child here for over a year. As many parents know, kids around the age of 2–3 sometimes push each other during play—it’s normal behavior at that stage of development. Since my child still needed emotional support, I used to sit inside the gym area while other parents waited outside.

At the previous session, the manager told me not to interact with my child at all, even if they needed help. She said there were four coaches inside and they were trained to handle everything. I was only supposed to be there in case my child needed emotional support.

During that session, my child bumped shoulders with another child while climbing a slide and gave them a light push—not enough to cause a fall or injury, but the other child got upset and cried. None of the coaches stepped in during the interaction, and I didn’t either—because the manager had specifically told me not to intervene.

After the class, the other child’s mother approached me with a very aggressive tone, as if she had no understanding of normal toddler behavior, and told me, “Watch your child! That better be the last time they push mine!” I calmly explained that the manager had asked me not to step in, otherwise I always would have. She stormed off saying, “Well, someone has to do something,” and went inside to complain to the manager—leaving her own child alone in the car just so she could come argue with me.

Instead of standing by what she had previously told me, the manager, clearly more concerned about keeping a paying customer happy, decided to ban my child from attending future sessions. She didn’t call, email, or text me in advance—I was blindsided.

To make matters worse, she claimed my child had bitten someone three weeks earlier, which never happened and no one ever mentioned it to me. I had been present during all the classes, and if such an incident had occurred, I would have been notified.

Because of the poor supervision by the coaches and the overreaction of a rude parent who doesn’t seem to understand child development, my child—who genuinely loved the class and looked forward to seeing friends—was unfairly removed.

If you’re considering taking your child here, be aware that the incompetent manager may suddenly ban you without any warning, based on biased reports and zero accountability for her staff’s failure to manage situations appropriately.

Update: After receiving a response from the gym, I’m even more disappointed. Their reply includes fabricated truths—specifically a claim about a previous biting incident that never happened. If they truly believe it occurred, they have multiple cameras—feel free to share the footage. We love coming to The Little Gym at Plano! They are professionals and maintain such a clean environment. The skills they acquire at the gym is brought into our daily lives, such as putting things away with a simple song they learnt! They also remember different stages of skill set the little ones are at and cater to them specifically. We love coach Ashley, coach Kai and coach Chloe! The Little Gym Plano has been an absolutely warm, welcoming and wonderful safe place for my son. We started with parent/child classes before he was even one and continued with Pre-K classes more recently. Little Gym is the best! Our little one has grown in her confidence and physical & motor skills. We started when she turned a year old and it made us wish we had started her earlier! The instructors are excellent with the kids and it’s a new class weekly. The pop up events are fun and I love watching my child recognize the other children in her class. This is a great way to get in socialization for the kids and the parents.
The facility is clean. The staff cleans all the shared items( balls, shakers etc) and everyone has to wash their hands before and after the class.

Our son gets hospitalized with RSV after coming here. We call to tell them so they can let other parents know who were in the same class. We get told that a bunch of other parents have called last week and the previous weeks saying there kids tested positive for RSV. Why wouldn’t you announce this earlier to families? Like seriously why not tell families “HEY WE HAVE HAD A BUNCH OF FAMILIES CALL IN SAYING THERE CHILD WAS HOSPITALIZED WITH RSV” it’s ridiculous! No common sense? Little Gym, Huge Fun!

We took our three year old son to the Little Gym for an intro class for ages 3-5. The student to instructor ratio was great - they had three adults managing about 10 little ones.

The class started with a few minutes for the children to explore, then they circled up, and did a variety of guided activities.

Unfortunately our little guy wasn't ready to listen and participate - the giant indoor playground was too appealing. They were very patient with him and one of the instructors broke away just to get him interested again. It was amazing!

I 100% recommend trying an introductory class here if you're considering gymnastics. You'll get a feel for whether or not your child is interested and ready. Even though it wasn't a good fit for our toddler right now, we'll definitely try again in a few months, because the Little Gym of Plano was great.

We've been part of The Little Gym family for a couple of years now, and it has truly become like a second home. Our three-year-old is thriving in pre-K gymnastics! She loves the gymnastic activities and has grown so much with encouragement by the incredible coaches. She had a hard time transitioning from parent-child to attending classes without me in there with her, and the coaches were so patient, sweet, and helpful when she transitioned to the pre-K class without me. Our one-year-old adores the parent-child class, and her face lights up during parachute time. We started taking our toddler to the little gym in January and it was one of the best decisions we could have ever made. The first time she was very shy and attached to us most of the class but by the third week our toddler was a completely different kid in a very good way. Our little girl was getting much more social and her language skills were developing. Our pediatrician even noticed the difference and commented on it. We love TLG Plano! We drive 30 mins to come to the Plano location since the gym closest to our home didn’t have a bugs class that worked for us. We recently tried a birds class at the gym near our home and we were not impressed! Ms. Rimmi and her team are top notch and we truly love their classes and the way they interact with our son! We won’t be switching anytime soon! We especially love that they make sure we are spotting our son correctly and always demonstrate how to do a new skill using one of the kiddos in the class. The Little Gym - Plano is the BEST place to bring your kiddos for a class. Age ranges from infant to K12. They even have a mixed age class (3-5) which was one of my main reasons for initially checking this place out. I’m so glad I did.

My three year old BLOSSOMED here. When we started she was glued to my leg and wouldn’t participate at all (this was the norm everywhere) - and sat with me the whole time. Three classes later, I’m sitting with the rest of the adults, child free for the first time weeks. She was able to be in a class with her older sister, which was also helpful.

The kiddos absolutely love The Little Gym - Plano. After every class they open the door and yell “MAMA I HAD SO MUCH FUN!” When we’re sick, the kids are disappointed to miss class. However - their makeup policy is uh-mazing and I never feel bad about rescheduling.

The staff spends a good 10ish minutes between each class and disinfects/cleans the equipment and gym room. All of the kids are asked to wash their hands before and after entering the gym room.

Class themes change from month to month, and the class routine changes weekly. They have also done themed holiday celebrations with photo op props, snacks, and decorations. Halloween ‘23 was a BLAST here.

The coaches are fantastic. Coach Ashley, Coach Jasmine, Coach Kai, and Coach/Owner Rimmi are stellar humans, and they have done wonderful work here to cultivate a loving, supportive community for The Little Gym families. My kiddos love their coaches!

Another excellent thing to know is you can try a class for free before signing up. It’s awesome. They also do a free bring a friend to the gym day fairly regularly.

We have been beyond impressed with this Little Gym. Our 15 month old started going recently and she has started to squeal with excitement when we get out of the car to walk in for class every week. It’s a great mix between age-appropriate learning and movement and playful exploring. They really know how to structure the time to keep the kids (even babies/toddlers) engaged! The teachers and manager are also wonderful- they greet us at the door every class and make sure we feel welcome and special.
In addition, it’s very apparent how important cleanliness is to them- everyone is required to wash hands before and after class, and there is always an extra staff member cleaning up after everything that is touched (the mats, balls, equipment, etc). This is so important especially for littles who are so prone to illness. We plan on attending classes as long as our daughter stays interested. Highly recommend!

Their instructors are well educated and great with the children. The family running the business couldn't been more down to earth. They go out of their way to establish a bond with the parents and children. They take the time to hear concerns and grow. It's also a big plus to me that they're so involved in their community. Multiple community events as well as collaborations. I couldn't have found a better environment for my children to learn their chosen skills.

I have multiple children who have gone through the little Gym in Plano, and it set the physical foundation for their future athletically and he’s doing phenomenal ( plays three sports ) because of the foundation he received from The Little Gym and I have other children there, and it is such a huge impact positively into our family and our children’s lives physically emotionally and just all-around blessing. My 3 y/o and I both absolutely loved The Little Gym and are very sad to leave due to a relocation. Little Gym is our absolute happy place! I became a stay at home mom after 9 years as a kindergarten teacher, and was so excited to find a place to take my daughter for socialization and FUN! Finding The Little Gym has literally changed mine and my 12 month old daughters daily life!! I have met so many amazing mom's to connect with over the experience of motherhood all while being able to do something amazing for my daughters physical, mental, and social health. The classes are so fun and engaging for kiddos and they get parents moving and bonding with your child! I have also watched my daughter grow physically through the exercises and utilize her skills that she learns to strongly reach developmental milestones.

I booked a class here for my son without realizing how far away it was from me. I text the number to see if I could get a refund. They said they would but I would need to call with the credit card number. When I called the manager was not there and the lady said she would take my credit card info and pass it on to the manager and I should get a refund within 3-4 days and they would text me to let me know when the refund was processed. Well it's been over a week, I called and left a voicemail two days ago. I still have not received a call back and I just called again today and again went to voicemail. So now my credit card info is just hanging around who knows where and I still don't have my refund.

Bad customer service. Now I definitely won't be bringing my son here.

We love the little gym! It was the first baby-centered activity we scheduled since my daughter was born! We started at 10 months in the birds class (the starting age for that group). My daughter smiles and gets so excited when we walk through the door. All the coaches are so friendly and knew her name by the second visit—I was so Impressed!

My daughter started crawling a bit late, but I noticed she’s been observing the older kids as they toddle along in the class! The social interaction is beneficial for her and the class is well structured.

The Little Gym of Plano is amazing! It was my baby’s first activity because of the pandemic so we were pretty nervous to get started. That quickly went away when we saw how welcoming, organized, and CLEAN the gym was. Everyone is encouraged to wash hands before and after class, equipment is cleaned between classes, and staff cleans the lobby while classes are in session. This is absolutely our favorite place to take our son and we look forward to our weekly classes. My son started in the "Birds" class when he was 15 months old and not yet walking. As a pandemic baby, we really wanted him to meet other kiddos his age and practice not only his motor skills, but his social skills, too. After trying out one class, we immediately signed up for a few a week.

I could tell he was shy at first, but he has grown leaps and bounds there. The instructors/coaches really got to know my son personally and even helped him take his very first steps right there at the gym! I felt so much more comfortable helping him practice walking on all their padded floors and gym equipment. He loves to explore and try out new skills there.

My son is now 21 months old and has graduated to the "Beast" class and he is continued to be challenged and is now so much more confident than he used to be. He safely takes risks/tries new things and has really grown into his motor skills.

We LOVE The Little Gym of Plano. My daughter has been going there for about 8 months, she started going just after she turned one and started walking. I actually came to this location by accident! I originally scheduled for the one in Dallas but the young ladies there didn't make a fuss about it they just added my 1 yr old to the class and I'm so grateful for that. My child is not very social yet but in class today she was enjoying the other children and they all looked so happy. The teachers were super nice and I loved the games they played between free play. In that time my child has gone from a clumsy, uncoordinated,crazy child to someone who has structure, follows directions, and can do a multitude of tricks in such a short time. We have been at The Little Gym for almost a year now. My son started when he was just over 1 and a half and we have absolutely loved this place! I didn’t really join with any particular goals in mind, but the progress our son has made this last year is incredible! Our very first class, he cried pretty much the entire time but kept coming and now he loves his class. He is so much more agile now on top of his increased confidence with tasks. LOVE this place! I have an extremely active and stubborn two year old who is used to daycare. With Covid, she's been out of daycare for months. I'm a teacher and finally off for the summer, so I decided to check this out. She loves it! The teachers are so patient with her and the staff is always so kind and patient. I must also say that I am super impressed with how they have handled reopening. They do a very impressive cleaning after each class, class sizes are kept very limited, the entire staff is wearing masks, and chairs and floor markers are there to keep everyone 6 ft apart. They also take anyone's temperature who enters. I feel very confident in the actions they're taking to stay open while providing a safe environment. I am so thankful for this place!

Our daughter started The Little Gym when she was 10 months old. When we began, my daughter had separation anxiety and was very unsure of other adults (she didn't have issues with other kids). My 1 year old daughter didn't socialize much with any other kids at the time. I have to admit, I was originally hesitant for my daughter to join The Little Gym. My wife and I ended up signing up for a month to give it a shot..

No regrets at all! First joining, my daughter didn't want to interact / participate as much (especially with the instructors). However, fast forward 5 months later and my child gets over the top excited to go to The Little Gym. She has grown exponentially; learning how to walk at an earlier age, talking, learning skills such as taking turns, putting up toys / balls, etc. I can't put a price tag on seeing how much happiness this brings to my daughter.

My son, 3 years old was enrolled in Mini Jacks/Cracker Jacks. All the children were out of control... The teacher named Rose, targeted my son and kicked him out. I think it was too harsh punishment for 3 years old boy. It is also unfair for me as a mom who did not even get a chance to talk to her own son. Obviously, she does not have children of her own so she does not have a big heart, and does not realize that the kids do not respond to her very well after she took over this class three weeks ago.
