Best gym for a hotel I have ever seen. Full size gym with plenty of cardio and weights. Track upstairs is a nice touch too.

The updates around the club have been nice, but overall service still lags behind. Honestly, if it werenβt for a few employees who truly stand out and make an effort, weβd likely have already moved to a different club. Theyβre the bright spots in an experience that otherwise leaves a lot to be desired.

Course was in absolutely great condition. The reason for the 3-stars is the service was incredibly slow and not very welcoming. Guests are not welcome in the restaurant. The range was also closed til 10am today. I think that's not the best idea during a Texas summer where everyone tries to get out early.

Paid more than $250 for a twilight round. Cart broke down and instead of immediately sending a new one they kept trying to reset it from clubhouse. Again. And again and again. Didn't work.
Because it was busy I walked next hole plus. They also charge you more than $100 for rental clubs that didn't have a sand wedge (or a lob wedge) and the course has a lot of sand. A 56 is not a sand wedge!
Bolted after 8 holes and they would only refund me the bad rentals.

New owners as of December 2022 - Century Golf Partners - have invested a lot of improvements. They own and manage dozens of high end resort courses across the country so they know what they are doing. New groundskeeper has turned into be fantastic. Never looked better. Ungraded fitness area, locker room, HVAC infrastructure, expand and remodel members lounge, tennis court improvements, significant upgrade to golf range, and noticeable improvements to both courses - tee boxes, paths, amenities etc have βupped the gameβ at this club.

This club is the worst Iβve ever seen. They care less about course maintenance and more about the exclusivity of the course. Every bunker is like hitting off cement. The mowing is in consistent, rough can be up to a 2 inches difference within 1 square foot. The average pace of play is almost 5 hours. There are no Marshallβs on the course to enforce rules. The new management is rude and inconsiderate. The spent an exorbitant amount of members money to redo the range just to keep you on rock hard mats for 5 out of 7 days. They added a track man system that Iβve seen less than 10% of players actually use. The only plus are the employees, always nice and helpful.

The staff helpfulness is way less than imaginable. The manager is certainly not available to manage the facility, which means the gophers are running the show. If you want it successful, the hands MUST be laid on. The way to allure players is to lay the hands on the facility to make it work. Some nine hole courses in Europe, but we are NOT in Europeβ¦.the last time I checked.
