I’m honestly really disappointed with the ref at our TOCA game today. I’m not the type to complain but this was ridiculous. My kid got tackled from behind, stomped on the Achilles, and actually got hurt. The ref reluctantly called a foul but acted like it was no big deal and somehow still didn’t give a card. I don’t know how you watch that happen and think, “Yeah, that’s fine.”

Our team trains hard and we’re used to tough play, but this wasn’t that at all. This was unsafe and honestly just dangerous. I’m planning to talk to our coach because I don’t feel good about my kid playing in this league next season if this is the level of officiating they think is acceptable. Not okay

Do not sign up to play here. The refs do not protect the kids at all. We had 6 kids injured during one game and not 1 card or talking to the other team. The ref was Spanish speaking and so was the team so maybe they knew each other. My kid had his spacer knocked off of his teeth. Other kids were tackled from behind and injured. One of their players went studs up at our defender. But the ref yelled at our team when we used a shoulder. I've been in soccer for over 20 years and never seen a blatant disregard for kids safety in a soccer match.

We will be pulling our kid until the season is over. I'm all for rough play but when the whole team gets hurt, maybe talk to the players and coaches to tone it down. Maybe give out a few cards so that they calm down. Disgusting behavior.

We signed our son up for a soccer lesson for the two and under class. We were not impressed with the communication from the staff and coaches. The staff at the front desk told us he’d be playing at the junior field at the front of the building. We got there 10 minutes early as the email suggested and waited for the coach to provide instructions. No one said anything to us for 20+ minutes. The kids looked way older than 2 so I went back to the front desk to clarify which field we should be at. They pointed us all the way to the back and we finally found the appropriate age group.

Once we were with the correct group the coaches were nice which is why we are leaving the two stars but overall a poor first impression.

If you sign up for the TOCA sessions just be aware they will continue to bill your credit card unless you notify them. That’s not in the fine print, it’s just laziness. My contract specifically stated a start and end date, yet I continue to see this charge come up on my statements. This is a recurring problem, as I’ve had multiple kids gone through the program and they say the same. With the latest issue, they verified my cancellation request by email, but I’ve still had to dispute the charges every month.

Pricing for the TOCA sessions is way too expensive. They don’t offer any long term pricing so you are stuck paying the premium month to month rate.

TOCA The Colony has been a fantastic experience for our 5-year-old son—he’s thriving, gaining new skills, and building confidence every week. The coaches are patient and engaging, the facility is clean and safe, and the whole program—from application to management—is run with professionalism and care. We’re so grateful for a place that combines fun, learning, and growth in such a warm environment. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My son broke his arm at Toca Carrollton, and I would still recommend going there over here. This place is run by children and it shows. They have the same referee for every game, and that wouldn't be a problem except for the fact that he doesn't do his job properly. He will hold grudges against coaches and take it out on the kids by not making good calls. I have sat by and watched this ref get in our coaches face and tell our children to shut up, and still be allowed to go to the next game. I know this is a sport and kids get hurt, but this level of neglect to get issues resolved is going to result in someone getting severely injured. I am telling you as a mother do not take your child here.

Coaches/Parents avoid this place like the plague. This is not a SAFE place for your kids. I signed my team up to play for the summer league u12 it has been a nightmare. All my kids are u12 but I have one girl that is u13. Which I checked with them to make sure it was ok before the season started. After a coach complained that my kids are bigger, they moved me up to u13. I was told they were just going to check with other u12 teams if they were ok with playing against us, not be moved up to u13. Jesus the ref will not call fouls/handballs/anything and your kids will get hurt because of it, then if you say anything to him about it he will get in your face, and tell your kids to shut up, after telling them about his behavior they will still not replace him. They only have one ref. and when you reach out to anyone about him making bad calls and his unprofessionalism. They will tell you that they talked to him, and things will be better. Only for you to catch him talking about you to other employees not realizing that you're still there. Please save your money, your team's morale and your sanity and take your team elsewhere.

Terrible. Refs have no clue what the rules are. The place is dark, dingy and smells. Way overpriced. We used to pay $80 each per player, per season. Now you pay monthly - so the same amount of time costs $150. Go to PSA so much better.

The Winter II 2024-2025 season is a HUGE disappointment. The schedule was already set for the team but this place decided to do a last minute candy cane tournament in the middle of a set schedule. They were consistently calling coaches to get enough players for a 3v3 tournament in the middle of a set schedule. Once they have enough teams to do this candy cane tournament, they had to shift the already set schedule and made the teams for these kids having to play a double header because they had to move some times around with their candy cane scheduling that interfered with the already set schedule for the winter league, which caused a HUGE inconvenience for numerous parents because the winter II schedule was already set. Many parents were upset since some of us planned around the schedule that was already released for Winter II and set and to have this place setup an impromptu tournament just to shift around to make that candy cane tournament work was highly unprofessional. This review request couldn't had come at a worst time.

The facility is pretty awesome and the staff is great. I take my 6 year old here twice a week and he enjoys it very much. every time he leaves practice hes sweaty, so theyre getting a good run in which is awesome. we were first doing once a week and then went to twice a week. the transition from a operational perspective was quick and painless. the price is very affordable and includes a jersey. My only feedback would be for them to market themselves more. I only know about this place because I drove by it. Im betting if more people knew about this or even took a look inside, theyd be more inclined to sign up

My boys did a soccer training with David this last week and had the best time. While it is hard work, David kept it fun and had the boys engaged the entire time. They track ball touches, speed, and accuracy on a screen for the kids to see. It’s a bit pricy but the amount of touches and personalized coaching they get in a hour is far more than any other training we’ve done.

Update: The manager called me on a Friday evening - I missed the call but the following week everything had been settled. They definitely made up in customer service for the error(s) I described on my original post. Thank you for doing the right thing!

I’ve been playing at the colony for a few years, and the adult over 30 men’s league is fun. However, they recently switched to a subscription mode with the premise of saving money for the players (which is great in theory). I sustained an injury in August and called to cancel my subscription since I knew I had a long recovery time, and filled out an online form to cancel - but I have been charged in the subsequent months even though I haven’t been playing (September & October). After calling, filling out a form, then calling again - my issue has not been resolved. Therefore I am giving 3 stars for the frustrating customer experience.

Good facility for indoor games, but definitely not for lessons. They boasted about a top-notch program, so I signed up. Turned out to be just marketing fluff. The "coach" I met once vanished, and the other coach often showed up late and left early. They constantly changed the schedule without consulting me, forcing me to reschedule multiple times. I’ll give them two stars for their facilities and fancy ball machines—that’s where my money went. Won’t be returning for lessons again.

This is a perfect place for my toddler to take soccer lessons. I love it and feel it stands out from other options because it's indoors (never have rain checks), the toddlers have their own field that is contained so I don't ever have to worry about my child running off like he would at an outdoor field. My 3yo LOVES it and has so much fun with all the coaches! Must try!

Desperately need to trim back trees at stairs to fields 4 & 5.. they’re hanging across steps so low it’s difficult for people going up and down. The elderly can’t walk the hills and without trees being trimmed, they can’t use stairs either.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at this facility. The lack of proper enforcement of safety measures is alarming and unacceptable. The referees at this facility are clearly not qualified. Their lack of knowledge about the fundamental rules of soccer is evident in their inconsistent and incorrect calls. Poor management from Denise (Old white woman with the grey bob) has to be the most unprofessional encounter I've ever had. Until they take player safety seriously and hires competent personnel, I cannot recommend this place to anyone.

Members for 6 years- always been very unorganized but dealt with it just so our kiddo could play soccer. Protocols changed couple years ago and I always chase to get my son just to play. I contacted them far in advance before signup to avoid a break in soccer and I have been misdirected, lied to, the staff does not care, rude, and actually today I got hung up on after I was told we were not made a priority and basically just sorry.
My kiddo and our family are upset and the lack of customer service adds to the sting.

Can't say enough good things about this place. Just held a party there for my son's football team. It was the end of all the boys' FFL careers, as they will be moving onto middle school football next year.

We booked the party for the last 2 hours hours they were open. Turns out this was not close to enough time, as our awards ceremony took way longer than expected. We had 17 kids and we took the time to say some memorable words about each kid, some of whom have been on the team for 6 years.

As we neared closing time, we spoke with the woman at the desk (I believe she's the owner) and apologized for running a little late. She said she had a few more closing duties to do, so no problem. Well...it was clear we were going to go WAY over. A few of our parents spoke with the owner again and she was extremely accommodating. I think she could see how important this moment was for these boys and let us finish out our party.

To try and help return the favor, we cleaned up the party room after ourselves and left a token of our appreciation.

We are extremely grateful for Blue Sky's service and politeness that allowed us to give our boys the proper send off they deserve.

This is the 2nd party I've had with them, and I wouldn't hesitate to book another. I'd encourage everyone to do business with Blue Sky.

The outdoor soccer fields are okay. There are no bleachers so be sure to bring your own chairs. The fields are not numbered and there are no signs telling you where to go when looking for fields. I have had to ask refs and random people what field was what. Also, if you play on the very back fields ( field 4 and the one next to it) it is not handicapped accessible. The fields are not flat. Field four is next to some woods and the ball went into the woods multiple times. Be ready to climb up and down hill and remember no handicapped accessibility. The parking lot is all rocks and super tight. Our select team has played at many soccer complex’s and this is my least favorite.

TERRIBLE FIELD AND MANAGEMENT. Not only do the soccer fields have hills and holes their were 2 ladies sitting behind me and my family during our soccer game today. One little girl on our team got sick so the one of the ladies went down to check on her. As soon as she came back up they were gossiping about a player on our team. She was interrogating her about being a female. I listened to about a 15 minute conversation about how our team and coach was sketchy and the player card did not match the player. She said she knew she was a boy because “the girl on the player card had beautiful long black hair and she could never see a pretty little girl cutting her hair that short.” Our couch asked her to stop questioning our player. I will be placing a Civil Rights complaint.

Signed my son up for a soccer league that parents were required to volunteer to coach. The kids were then paired up with league teams that had been trained by coaches. Needless to say our volunteer coach team lost and the kids were very disappointed every game.

Decided to try the summer camp. We weren’t acknowledged when entering the building and followed some other parents with kids to the back field. None of the coaches said anything to the incoming kids and the kids had to ask what they were supposed to be doing. Watching my son go from excited to discouraged within ten minutes was enough for me. I walked out with him and no staff member even bothered ensuring I was leaving with the correct child.

Most disorganized organization. 3 v 3 soccer has uneven teams, one team has 8-10 kids while others have 3-4. Instead of restructuring the rosters, they "hope more kids sign up to even it out" because, you know, an FC Dallas player is a coach and they don't want to upset little Timmy's parents moving him off his team to one that needs players. So the kids get gassed because there's nobody on the bench to tag out with. Now you do get two whole hours free in the back corner to practice for the entire season. Otherwise it's 40 bucks an hour to hold practice. Let's keep draining mom and dad's wallet after paying $100 to sign up for a team with no players, no coach, and no notifications that games are being cancelled for their inadequate staffing. Don't waste your money here. Just go someplace with actual structure.

It's fine for really young kids. We've been playing here for a couple years, but as the kids get older it gets more out of control. The refs are usually kids, which is fine, if they were properly trained. They let too much stuff go and the games get out of hand. I will endorse the other comment that called it a fight club.

If you are looking to enroll your child into fight club, you have found the right soccer club. Girls indoor soccer is a joke due to their staffs inability to referee. Not calling any fouls on either side, making it impossible for the coaches to hold the girls 2013 to any non-violent play. To make matters worse there is one team specifically where all parents vigorously encourage their little girls to hurt the other team. The Managment fails again here. So the bottom line is if your child needs to learn unadulterated violence you have come to the right place. But go somewhere else if you are looking for your child to play soccer.

Rules are not always enforced and very much understaffed. Plus the AC is set high I assume to save money, but they charge enough fees to do well I would think.

Awesome place to have an indoor soccer games. Rhey have 2 artificial grass fields, one for kids and one larger for teens or adults. The quality of the grass and field is great, it's covered with a net all over the borders until the ceiling so you don't have to go after the ball if you miss the goals. They have pretty nice and decent lockerrooms to change in and the pricing is adequate for what you get.

Very sad that they let teams that are from there place cheat! And letting ppl be without mask and when you say something they don’t care but if a latino person puts it down they are quick to let us know. Very disappointed

My complaint is the indoor facilities. Facilities are old and rundown. The restrooms are smelly. You’ll leave there sweating as if you were playing soccer because it is SO HOT in there. I can’t imagine how much it sucks for the players. They really need to step it up if they want to compete with other soccer facilities.

Paid for a full season which was cancelled due to COVID. Owner refused to provide refunds or credits to players for missing weeks not played. They kept our money and we didn’t receive service. A good reputable business would at least provide a credit to be used for next season for the value of the missed weeks.

My kid attends soccer game here, most of the registration is $90 for season and parent volunteers and coaches help out with the games and team snacks. The front desk office staff is very welcoming no matter how many times you ask them questions or get the numbers printed on back of players shirts.

Loved this facility. Went there for the first time today, and kids would love this place. They have age category soccer practice and matches. Also they have leagues for diff age groups, and teams from outside could enroll and compete for the season. This facility also has a training ground for BVB international academy. Soccer lovers would love this facility.
