Tough Fitness represents a fitness and health movement. Gone are the days of boring, repetitive workouts and overpriced mediocre personal trainers. We got into the fitness business by taking something that we absolutely loved and finding a way to do it everyday. Our all military veteran staff is comprised of the most well-rounded fitness leaders in the area. All trainers on staff share the same values and passion for changing lives. We value our relationships with our clients and believe it is one of the most important aspects of what we offer.

This is an amazing team who is willing to go above and beyond for their clients. I've had the opportunity to work with both Evan and Kyle and I gotta say, they develop amazing workouts that make the time fly by. Kyle's flexibility to my schedule has been a blessing as I may need to switch a session at the last minute and Kyle is able to reconfigure his week to squeeze me in. All in all, a great experience!

Although I am pleased with my virtual Tough Fitness trainer, the poor customer service from the company lowers the score to one star. I signed a contract for Tough Fitness to deliver personal trainer sessions to me via FaceTime. The trainer showed up on-time and executed well for four sessions. He did not show up on session five. I texted Evan that the trainer was absent and got a way too late response 1.5 hours later. When I texted “Your employee simply didn’t show up to work” and asked to terminate my contract he responded “There was no employee who simply didn’t show up” and proceeded to bill me again. As it turns out the trainer left on an overseas vacation and did not notify Evan that someone needed to cover the sessions I contracted for. So if you want to do business with a firm that will bill you despite non-delivery of service, by all means Tough Fitness is for you!
The trainer is back in town, I will continue with him through the end of my subscription. Evan texted me that “…we don’t care much about keeping people like this around.” I’m not sure if he means me or the trainer. In any case I’m completely done with Tough Fitness and I suggest you seek another personal trainer provider.

Tough Fitness has increased my physical fitness at a much quicker rate than I initially thought possible. I have only been with this business for three months and I am the strongest and fittest I have ever been (I have been working out in some form for most of my life). My trainer Rich Hobaugh is amazing! Not only has he helped and encouraged me on my journey to become stronger he has made it to where i look forward to and want to workout. This business is the definition of professional with a lot of fun and determination.

From the first time I signed up for a consultation, Evan has been nothing but professional. He’s clearly extremely dedicated to what he does and his clients. I’ve worked with Rich (one of rough fitness’ trainers) and have been nothing but happy by his work ethic and drive toward helping me achieve my goals. From nutrition and diet help to other minor tweaks in work out form, he goes the extra mile. I would recommend tough fitness to anyone.

I joined with Tough Fitness about 10 months ago and have lost about 40 lbs. I enjoy his style of ensuring of proper form first, then amount of reps/weight so there’s less chance of injury. Always a very respectful staff but will keep you accountable to your goals. As a veteran, supporting a veteran owned business is always important to me as well. I would highly recommend giving them a try.

I've been training with Evan for 7 months and it's been incredible! He pushes you and keeps you motivated. His workouts are always different and is constantly keeping us on our toes. I've also made good friends in the team sessions and working out with them makes training so much more fun!

I have been training with Tough Fitness since March and these studs have been a blast. They are full of different workout ideas and always have a game plan in mind prior to the session. They were open to the goals I was trying to achieve and helping me get there. They helped me out with alternate workout plans during the lockdown. All the guys are super chill and so much fun to be around. I highly recommend!

This is a fantastic group of people to be trained by, they all have a unique way of motivating you through tour your workout, they all go the extra mile to provide nutritionist for a healthy diet that fits all life styles, and they are flexible with workouts.

I only posted five stars because that's the only Stars they'll allow me to post. This group of people are amazing. It took me some time to work up the courage to post a review since my son left for the services last December. they have gone above and beyond with training and more than just the physical. They helped my son through a lot of different areas including emotional support and helping him along the way with their guidance and preparing him for the Marines. They have done more than any personal trainer would have ever done. They communicated wonderfully and the price was more than fair with everything that they did. My son was happy to go to training which was impressive and its own. Even after an unexpected surgery last spring they got him back to his old self extremely quickly without pushing him too far too fast but enough to bring him back to normal. And I have to say there aren't very many people in this world that when you ask them to speak with your son because he's having a hard time in boot camp that they willingly voluntarily within a few minutes sent me letters to forward to him. These guys will always have a special place in our hearts. if you want to ask me any questions please feel free and I will always recommend them to anyone and everyone. 💕

I’ve been training with Evan and the Tough Fitness team of military veterans for just over a year. I’ll not bore you with the details of why or how I ended up with Tough Fitness, rather I’d like to get down to brass tacks.
Here are a few things you can expect with Tough Fitness’s small group training option:
1. Workouts are tailored to what your body needs, whether male or female
2. Small group training offers a huge support system, which helps push you when you feel like giving up
3. Routine measurements are taken (privately) to keep you in the know about how your body is evolving
4. The workouts are never the same, so boredom is NEVER an issue
5. Each trainer brings something unique to the table and are knowledgeable and professional in what they do.
Overall, my experience with the TF team has been extremely fruitful. I always leave my workouts feeling physically and mentally better than I did when I walked in the door.

I've had several personal trainers over the last 20 years and know the difference between a great trainer and a lazy trainer. When I moved to Dallas in September, my first priority was finding a new trainer even before finding a place to live. I interviewed several trainers before selecting Tough Fitness.
Over the last 4 months, I've had the pleasure of working out with a few of the Tough Fitness trainers. While they are all different and have their own style, I can tell you they were all amazing trainers. They are going to make sure that you are getting a great workout that helps you achieve your personal goals and that you are doing so safely. During the workout, they are focused on you. They are tweaking your form and motivating you to do more than you think you are capable of doing. The trainers know when to push you and when to back off because they know what your body can do even if your mind doesn't.
I HATE working out which is why I pay someone to push me. So while I may hate every workout, I can tell you that I feel good and have a sense of accomplish after my Tough Fitness workouts.
If you want to be challenged to get into the best shape of your life then I would recommend Tough Fitness.

I have been training with Travis since September. I am very happy with the results that I have seen over these past few months! Each workout is different and you never know what you are going to do when you get to the gym! He knows what he is doing and will make sure that you always use the proper techniques for lifting weights. Travis has a lot of good energy and will be one of your biggest supporters both inside and outside of the gym. I am extremely grateful to have Travis in my life and I am looking forward to continuing my fitness journey with him!

I’ve been training at Tough Fitness with Travis for a little over a month and a half now. In that time I’ve lost 15 pounds and can tell I’ve gotten way stronger. I’ve had trainers before where every time i came in, we’d be doing the exact same workouts. With Travis, every single time I’ve worked out with him we have never done the same workout. He is always prepared and switching it up. I’m very grateful to Travis and Evan for getting me set up and in way better shape! I highly recommend Tough Fitness to reach your goals.

I've only had 3 training sessions so far with Evan, but I can already tell this guy is gonna get me in the best shape of my life. Workouts are creative, challenging and leave me feeling like a strong, powerful woman! I've trained in the past with experts at Equinox, and it's nothing compared to the workouts I've had with Evan. He tailors each workout based on your fitness level, and reads your body language and stamina instead of just hitting a certain rep count. I'm learning how to engage muscles in a whole new way. Highly recommend!!! Do it. Your future self will thank you.

Evan and his team of trainers have changed my life. I have been with tough fitness for almost three years now and feel better than ever. I never used to like working out or having a trainer and have dropped out of many gyms and training programs in the past, but Tough Fitness changed that for me. I grew up on the heavier side, out of shape, and never thought i could feel small and strong at the same time, but Tough Fitness helped me achieve this goal. The small group trainings make it more enjoyable to get in shape with friends! Their monthly measurement and progress tracking prove the results. And since nutrition plays a huge role as well, they can help keep you on track and learn what foods to eat and avoid depending on your goals! I've known Evan for over 2 years now, and I have been training with him for about a year and three months now. The past 8 months or so have been rough with my career (but I'm finally back in a good spot, yay!), and on the days where I wanted to give up, Evan wouldn't let me. He knows how to keep you going and is always there for you. The workouts are incredibly challenging and fun, I love how Evan's always mixing things up. And it's great to work out in a small group of like-minded women who encourage and push you through the workout. I've made some great friends through Evan and Tough Fitness, including Evan. I joined tough fitness in nov 2018 and was with tough fitness for 3 months. The pictures shown in the website is not real, the training took place in trophy fitness downtown, it was not even close to the pictures posted in website. Tough fitness left the trophy gym without even informing, the payment schedule is so irregular. Had a bad experience and will stay away from tough fitness

Working out with Tough Fitness, Dallas has been one of the best decisions of my life. I have been training with Joey Munoz for about a year and I’ve lost 15 lbs. and over 15 inches. I couldn't be happier. Joey motivates me to do more than I ever imagined, and no two workouts are alike. I receive nutritional guidance and "eat this, not that" type of information. I trained with Tough Fitness and Evan for over a year and loved every second! If I hadn't moved out of Dallas I would definitely still be working out with Tough Fitness. I was pushed every session to work harder and get stronger. Evan always had a series of exercises that were thought through to target certain muscle groups. When I would get tired or sore Evan was there to motivate me to push through. Once a week Evan sends out an email with a great recipe or motivational story about the importance of fitness, food and health in general. I've only been gone a month but I greatly miss Tough Fitness!

Two months and 8.8 inches lost later I could not be happier with my results. Evan is a miracle worker. I am far from athletic and not coordinated whatsoever but Evan has made working out fun, something I never thought possible! I actually look forward to working out. Plus, with preexisting injuries I was very nervous about re-injuring myself. Evan watches your form and is HUGE on making sure you are doing exercises properly to ensure you don't hurt yourself and get the most out of your workout. I was really nervous about starting with a trainer when I was so out-of-shape, but Tough Fitness has become a wonderful force in my life. I now train 4 days a week, up from 2, and many days training is the best part of my day. My trainer, Joey Munoz, is a genius --no exaggeration! Every workout is different, I'm never bored --sometimes I even think the session goes too fast if you can believe it. And he's always pushing for more (more endurance, strength and physical ability in general). He truely loves what he does and is one of the most respectful people I know. As a result, I am down 25 pounds, my wardrobe has quadrupled because everything fits, and I feel brighter. I also have definition in my muscles that I love (no bulk). In the last few weeks, we've been focusing on meals and I really like the plan. I'm not really sure how much more weight I will lose. Sky's the limit so I just take it one pound at a time. Super fun. Tough Fitness is by far the best investment I've made in the last decade --maybe ever. Time will tell...

Evan is such an amazing trainer and motivator. He is always energenic and passionate about his clients. He makes each work out efficient and difficult, but understands how hard he can push you. Even brings so much knowledge about overall fitness to each session. Having Evan as my trainer has changed me. Unlike some trainers, Evan's creativity in strength training is different from the rest, not to mention his positive fun personality really keeps you motivated and in check. He really cares about his clients healthy well being.
I went in weighing 155lbs; by going to his group class a few times a week and eating right I dropped down to 127lbs. Losing 22 inches of fat.

Evan is awesome. I have had several trainers and he is definitely the best. No matter what kind of mood I show up with, I always leave with a smile on my face and feeling like I have accomplished something. He never accepts "I can't" even though lately it's my favorite thing to say. He varies the workout and always pushes me. Always feel like I have had a good workout.

I've only been training with Evan a few weeks but I'm already beyond impressed so far. He pushes you hard but is realistic with what you can manage and tailors your work out to you. I'm excited to see my results in the coming months because his work outs are on another level than what I was doing before. He's also flexible and works with your schedule. He's a great motivator and even between sessions when I don't see him I'm motivated to eat right and do my own work outs. If you're serious about putting in the effort (and sweat) to see a change definitely schedule a consultation.
