I thought after an MCL tear my soccer career was over. However, after some hard work with Sumair, I am now playing soccer in England for a professional academy. I made a life long friend and learned a whole lot about how I can keep my knees healthy. Def recommend giving it a shot.

Working with Sumair has completely transformed my relationship with fitness. For years, I had built-up issues in my shoulders and hips from bad posture and inconsistent training. After just two weeks with Sumair, those aches are completely gone. He has helped me unlock entirely new movements and significantly extend the range of motion on old ones.
Sumair has a highly knowledgeable and personalized approach. He's skilled at identifying the exact level of exercise needed to progress your body's strength and mobility, with a strong focus on injury prevention. It’s not just about lifting heavy; it’s about moving correctly and building a resilient body.
Perhaps the best part of the experience is Sumair's genuine care for his clients. He doesn't gatekeep any information and is always willing to share his expertise on training, nutrition, and overall wellness. He is truly invested in your success. I wholeheartedly recommend him to everyone, no matter your goals or previous experience with training.

I have adult scoliosis (S curve) and went to Sumair while waiting on an appointment with an Austin ortho surgeon to discuss scoliosis surgery—serious stuff. After Sumair worked out with me for 1 hour for 5 consecutive days, my posture and visible curve at my thoracic area were greatly improved—so much so, I decided that I did not need surgery, at least, not anytime soon. I’ve had years of physical therapy with highly trained and well regarded physical therapists, but Sumair had a totally different approach; he addressed my fascia issues and strengthened my lats, as two examples.
In fact, I was so amazed with my results, I’m considering moving closer to the Austin area where I can workout with Sumair on a consistent basis as I feel that he can probably keep me out of the operating room. Sumair gently encouraged me to push beyond what I thought I could physically do, increasing my range of motion. 5 stars to Sumair.

I’ve been through five ACL surgeries, countless personal training sessions, and years of physical therapy. But none of that compares to what Sumair has done for me. He has completely changed my life, helping me rebuild from the ground up and, for the first time since my very first injury, he has given me the gift of trusting my body again.
This time last year, I couldn’t walk upstairs or even get up from tying my shoes without pain. Today, I feel stronger, lighter, and more in tune with my body than ever before. It’s not just physical—this transformation has impacted every aspect of my life: how I eat, when I rest, how I play. Sumair’s approach to training is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced, and the mind-body connection he teaches has been the missing piece in all my years of rehab.
What makes working with Sumair so special is how comfortable he makes you feel. He meets you exactly where you are, greeting you with kindness, patience, and understanding. He saw me not just as a client with injuries but as a whole person. I never once felt judged, and that allowed me to open up and truly heal. I’m no longer afraid to strength train, and have learned to embrace the shakes. Sumair even taught me how to breathe—something I didn’t know I needed but has made all the difference. I get emotional thinking about how far I’ve come. My connection to my body has been restored, and for the first time in years, I’m not afraid of what it can or can’t do. I’m running again, something I never thought I’d say. My life has changed in ways I can’t put into words, and I owe it all to Sumair’s guidance.
If you’re looking for a trainer who’s more than just someone to help you get fit—someone who will transform how you move, think, and feel—I couldn’t recommend Sumair enough. He has given me my life back.

It’s been almost a year working with sumair and it’s been lifechanging. I’ve been to countless practitioners over the years and specialists for my knee just to tell them i need to strengthen my glutes and that’s all. So ten years of glute strengthening exercises and no results. It’s been something where i figured id just have to live with it and avoid entire movements. I was lucky to have come across sumair because this is not the case anymore. I can now squat without pain for the first time in ten years. I can come in one session with a lot of pain in a certain area and he can do some tissue manipulation and tweak the form of an exercise and im able to do it with no pain. That just doesn't happen other places. You can feel the passion in his work for your whole body. I’m looking forward to getting stronger on all foundational lifts and proofing my body against injuries which has been a significant problem before i met sumair. Highly recommend him, best trainer i’ve ever had.

The team at Unstoppable Baller is unparalleled in their holistic & comprehensive approach to fitness & athletic recovery. When I finally came across their offering, it was truly the last house on the block. I was despondent & losing hope that I would ever be able to resume normal athletic activity after an intense knee surgery. I had done my PT (different provider) to perfection, followed all my doctors orders, sought out guidance from other trainers, paid for online knee rehab recovery but I couldn't seem to get past this severe knee pain. I was about 16 months post-op when I walked in the door at Unstoppable Baller. The moment I walked in, it was readily evident that their approach was much different. Though it was my knee that was ailing me, we began working intensely on my feet. The work and the training being done was not some cookie cutter program that they assigned to each of their clients. All of the programming was specifically tailored to my body. The focus was comprehensive & over time it was made very clear that the goal was to build a solid foundation for a lifetime of movement. It wasn't just to alleviate my knee pain, it was so much more than that. Over the course of the next 6 months, we began to work all the way up my body, identifying and addressing any deficiencies. As a former personal trainer & former division one athlete, I'd never received such masterful guidance. Sure I had run fast & jumped high but had never been taught how to operate my body properly. Through what many would consider unorthodox exercises, I started to forge mental & physical connections that I never previously had. With each small breakthrough, the training began to make more and more sense. To say that I'm grateful for the Unstoppable Baller team would be an understatement. They brought me from hopeless to assuredly hopeful. They changed my entire relationship with movement in general. They made me feel unstoppable. I never felt like just a "client" of theirs...Through their love & support I was made to feel like family. Thank you for changing my life!

I've been training with Sumair for a couple of years now and have been very happy with my results. I found Trainlifefit through Google and took a chance on a session, and I was instantly impressed with Sumair's depth of knowledge and ease at explaining movements. My goal was just to learn how to use good form for deadlifts and other weightlifting exercises, but I have gotten much more than I bargained for. Not only do I feel more confident doing heavy lifts, but I have also made huge gains in mobility and overall muscle control. Every trainer at TLF is top notch and you will not be disappointed, whether in-person or virtual. Highly recommend!

Words can't express the genius of the man behind this company Sumair. I've worked with A LOT of trainers throughout the years and none have come close to the knowledge, passion, and heart of this man.
I have sustained several major injuries throughout the years due to martial arts. It got to the point where they were so bad I could no longer train. So I started doing just simple runs thinking that would be safe. Wrong. I got injured doing that too.
Finally I humbled myself and decided I was going to fix my body no matter what. Several years later and I still had not figured out how to heal. In steps Sumair. Its only been a few months of working with him and I've healed more in the last few months than i have of years trying to do it myself.
This guy is an absolute genius of the body. But thats not what makes him a truly great coach. What makes him great is his style of coaching. He just never gives up on me no matter how much I give up on myself. He constantly motivates me and helps me to see things in a new light.
I can honestly say this will be my body coach for the rest of my life. He doesnt just heal injuries. He heals the mind right alongside the body.
And the best part is that I've done most of this through his online program!

TLF and Trigger have—no exaggeration—changed my life.
When I was 10 years old, I had to have major hip surgery. This put me in a wheelchair for 2 months and on crutches for 3 more after that. At the time, my orthopedic surgeon told me, "Yeah, you'll probably just never be a very physical person. Take care of yourself and don't overdo it." As a result, I spent the next 12 years avoiding physical activity, instead building up more and more tolerance for the pain that was a daily part of my life. Issues with my hip caused back pain, knee pain, shoulder pain, and neck pain. I was, as I said often, a "broken thing."
In my mid-20s (with all the aches and pains of a 70-year-old), I decided to push back against what I saw as a miserable future of pain and debilitation. I tried rock climbing, I tried yoga, I did physical therapy, acupuncture, and gym work. With each new activity, I would have to muster up hope and throw myself into it. Maybe this one will work? Maybe I can make progress? Maybe I can learn to enjoy physical activity? Maybe I'm not a "broken thing"?
But every time, no matter how hopeful I was, it wouldn't work. With sports and physical activities, I'd jump in too fast and too hard and injure myself. With the more gentle therapies, it wouldn't work enough to reduce my pain to a manageable level. Every couple years, I'd get up the hope and the willpower to try again, and it wouldn't work. Year after year, this just confirmed in my own mind, "I am a broken thing. Why should I even try?"
After a particularly long period of sedentary hopelessness, I decided to try ONE MORE TIME. I checked Yelp and picked the nearest gym to my house. I don't even think I looked at the reviews. At 1AM, I typed up a plea for help and sent it off to TLF. The next day, Trigger contacted me.
She started slow, focusing on mobility and targeting all those tiny muscles deep in my joints that had atrophied over 23 years of inactivity and repeated injury. She was patient and incredibly meticulous as she identified each and every limitation I had. She pushed on the ones that were malleable, and she worked around the ones that weren't. Together, we learned all the ins-and-outs of my joints, identifying every flash of pain I felt and targeting it with gentle but persistent attention.
At times, it was frustrating, and at times, it was painful. But we did the work, both physically and mentally. Trigger helped me confront the feeling of powerlessness that injury can cause. I moved through all the anger and betrayal I felt toward my body. Slowly, slowly, I started to have confidence in my physical self. And in return, I saw improvements and gains. My joints stabilized, and my flexibility increased. My form got better, and my capacity grew. And the pain started to recede. It was SO slow in the beginning, but I trusted in the process and Trigger didn't let me down. Honestly, it restored my faith.
Now, I wake up and, no matter how tired I am, I look forward to that hour with Trigger. We've moved past the therapeutic/mobility phase, and I'm doing more strength work. My body operates so differently now. The pain is gone, my movements are more symmetrical, and I've got more confidence in my abilities. I've begun to trust my body for the first time in my adult life. With that strong foundation in place, the progress is increasing, and I feel incredibly empowered.
And all of that is thanks to Trigger and the TLF family. They take the time. They're patient. They're knowledgeable. And they invest in the foundations of healthy movement. That makes so much possible, especially if you suffer from chronic injuries. I've spent 10 years trying to find something that works, and this really really does. I'm so glad that I took the chance on TLF. They've changed my relationship to my body and my outlook on the future. There's still more work to be done, but I'm happy and excited to do it.

I have been working with Kila at TrainLifeFit for several months and it has been a great experience! She was able to meet me where I was and create fun and challenging exercises for me. Also, the gym really focuses on educating WHY we're doing the exercises we're doing so I'm learning as I go along. 10/10 would recommend!

The best 1-1 training I’ve ever experienced. Nic is more knowledgeable about mobility and strength training than I could’ve ever expected. I noticed major improvements in my back and neck pain and looked forward to each training session. The other trainers are super friendly and encouraging, specifically Trigger and Sumair. I truly believe this is a special place.

Sumair is magic. He is operating at a level beyond any normal trainer. I went to TrainLifeFit to improve my running ability. Within one month of following his direction I had muscles I had never seen before. After two months my running experience was transformed. I don't know how he did it, but running now feels as easy as riding a bike!

When I contacted TrainLifeFit, I was not sure exactly what I wanted. I knew what I was doing was not working for me physically or emotionally. I knew that I needed and wanted to feel different and I didn't want the pain from old injuries to limit what I could do any longer. I knew that something had to change. I enrolled in nutrition and introduction to movement classes knowing that I needed to push myself. What I found at TrainLifeFit was more than I could have hoped for. Each trainer there is dedicated, caring and loves what they do. Going to TrainLifeFit is transformative and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a life change or to keep building on what you already have. This team has it all- going here has been the best decision I could have made!

The positive attitudes from not only the trainers but the whole TLF fam are contagious and for those that need help with mobility or muscle pain: Go see Sumair! The dude is a dang ol' wizard. Seriously though, you will not regret it.

They have completely changed my life! Before #TLF I sometimes went running or used the elliptical at my apartment fitness center; however, I always felt intimidated walking into the gym and having to make my way past the stacks of weights poised all over the back wall. The team there is amazing, and they address all of your goals through mobility and nutrition. It was a tough transition at first, but once I got into the swing of things it became a lot easier to not only do the movements but also push myself in classes. I’ve been able to increase my endurance, energy, flexibility, and strength. It’s been a wild first few months, but my clothes fit better and I’m more coordinated than I was just a few months ago. I would highly recommend you stop by and see Sumair (or shoot him an email) if you are interested in talking nutrition, fitness, or cats (oh my goodness he has the best cat)!

I'm a 50 year old woman who wanted to play more tennis, but found myself playing less and less tennis because of pain during the match and the soreness and stiffness the next couple days after. So I started working with Tess at TrainLifeFit, hoping to at least feel better the next day, and MAYBE add another day of tennis to my week. I now can easily play 4 days a week, plus workout in the gym 2 days. I am faster and have more stamina while on the court, and feel ready to go again the next day. Thank you Tess for helping me not only reach my goal, but exceed it!

It doesn't get better than Sumair and Train Life Fit! Hands down the most holistic approach to fitness, strength training, and mobility out there!
Before seeing Sumair my whole body was so out of alignment, locked up, and under engaged to the point that I could not turn my head to check my blind spot, I couldn't do lungs with out my sciatic nerve shooting pain down my tailbone, I was starting to get a hump back and hump neck from improper posture, and I was not able to raise my arms over my head. From the first 5 minutes of seeing Sumair he had already diagnosis where many of the problems where stemming from and already started to correct them. I walked out of my first assessment with the best posture I had since a child.
At Train Life Fit mobility doesn't come second or third to strength training, it comes first. What I have learned in the past year working with Sumair is that without proper mobility you cannot have full access to your movements and therefore cannot fully engage all the muscles needed for full body strength training. I am now living pain free, and feel like I can do any athletic activity with confidence, strength, and with out injury. Lifting weights has never felt so good!
I recently started to do body tempering sessions with Sumair that have been immensely helpful in gaining full mobility in record time. My squat looks like I am gliding down and i can access more glute and hamstring as well as lift more weight. The body tempering sessions helped put my hips back in alignment (one hip was about 2 inches higher than than other causing strain in my lower back and hip joint). the body tempering sessions dropped my hip by unlocking stuck muscles thus allowing me even greater access to my pelvic floor for overall better bracing when lifting, better posture, and made my body feel light as a feather. Sounds silly but I didn't realize how much pain I was in and how heavy my body felt until I was able to gain greater mobility and access to new muscles--once that happens your body real feels lighter and at ease. It is remarkable.
The last things I will say is that Sumair is the most genuine, nonjudgemental, helpful, supportive, smart, engaged, and kind trainer you will meet. The culture he creates in his gym makes it fun, exciting, and an uplifting experience to work out!

When I first started at TLF, I had been inactive for most of my adult life. As we found out at my assessment, I had limited range of motion and not much strength. Those first few months were incredibly hard work, but Sumair’s vast knowledge regarding correct form, mobility, and remedial work akin to physical therapy, helped propel me along. Sometimes I’d falter in an exercise, but Sumair would change the pace, weight, or number of repetitions until I could succeed at the movement and build from there.
I wanted more improvement, and Sumair customized a nutrition and exercise plan for me. I have been on the plan that Sumair has changed three times to accommodate my changing circumstances for about six months. I have had great improvement in strength and appearance actually dropping several sizes in clothes. Together, we have worked through setbacks caused by travel, other commitments, and even old injuries acting up.
It is amazing to be doing things in class that much younger people are doing. I know that if I continue to train at TLF, I will be able to grow older with more mobility and stamina. Even if I move or am unable to attend TLF in the future, Sumair has taught me skills, mindset, habits, and knowledge that I can take with me. His goal with everyone is to help them become the best, healthiest, and most fit version of themselves.
An added bonus has been getting to know trainers Nic and Tess and the TLF clients. Classes have the vibe of friends working out together under the patient supervision of the TLF trainers helping us maximize results. If you decide to try TLF, it will be one of the best decisions you ever make.

TrainLifeFit and Nick Hall have completely changed my view of weight training and my body. When I arrived, my entire body was one big locked, painful, inflexible mess from long distance running with minimal stretching. Nick never quits looking for solutions to my hip mobility issues. It’s not enough for me to be stronger, but he strives each workout for improvements in my range of motion without pain. He’s even patient and kind when I arrive grumbling for a 5:30 am workout. With just a few changes in my diet (e.g. increased protein), I have dropped 3% body fat and I’m stronger than I thought possible for a half-a-century woman. Can’t wait to see the improvements in 2017!

Sumair and TrainLifeFit are fantastic! I can't say enough good things about the program. It is a full-health, holistic approach to fitness, starting from how you eat, sleep, and even breathe. Sumair will tailor the workout program to your level, but most importantly, make you slow down to get the movements right. I've had a history of repeated injuries resulting from poor form and flexibility (back, neck). In the year I've been going to TLF, not only have these injuries not resurfaced, I have noticed that my posture at work and elsewhere have gotten better so that I am actively preventing them. Can't recommend Sumair and TLF enough!

This gym is one of the most unique gyms I have been part of. This is not your typical gym, in that, Sumair cares for everyone and gives every single person in the full attention. Most other gyms just given you the routine and you kinda of just do it on your own. At TrainLifeFit, sumair, walks you through the workouts and gives pointers throughout the workout.
I came in with serious back pain and after following sumair’s recommended regime, my back pain went away after few weeks. Before this gym I went to two doctors, both of them just prescribed me medicine for inflammation. Sumair’s strategy was different in that he tried to tackle the issue head instead of taking the easy way out. My story is just one of many, through out my time at the gym I have seen many of the clients come in with serious injuries and sumair’s has helped them fully recovery. So if you have any recurring pain or just want to get into your ideal weight, I would definitely recommend TrainLifeFit.

Sumair is amazing! Not only is he helping me improve my over all fitness and strength, he is also helping me to correct longstanding physical issues I have had for most of my life. These are issues that I thought were not fixable. "Oh I was born like that" or "that's just how I am." Not at all.
His response is: "Okay. Let's fix that"
And guess what? WE DO! Whether it is tight hip flexors, immobile ankles, sore feet, or a weak posterior chain.
Sumair is truly amazing!

At the beginning of 2015 I was walking around Mueller with my one and three-year-old girls, contemplating the discouragement I’ve had with the ups and downs of getting back in shape since becoming a parent. Then I turned the corner beheld a new business, an open door, the sign: TrainLifeFit”, like a beacon of light beckoning me towards hope. Sumair was there, and before I knew it I signed up for a physical assessment test. At the time I regarded the idea of a physical assessment comparable to a root canal coupled with the medieval public humiliation of being placed in stocks. But my assessment test was surprisingly shameless, encouraging even. Not only because of where I was, but because of who Sumair believed I could be. And this is the magic of Sumair, he takes you where you are at, without judgement or reproach. Instead, with compassion and tenacity, he truly desires to see each of his clients become stronger, happier, healthier versions of themselves. He pushes us to do a little more, to become a little better everyday. He doesn’t ask us to strive for goals he hasn’t strived for himself. Thank you Sumair for working so hard for your clients, for your belief in us now and for our future, and for giving us hope (and muscles).

When I first started TLF, I was looking for what most people look for when joining a gym - a better looking physique, a six pack, and cut arms. I would have never expected to grow as much as I have grown in the last 3-4 months. As I went through the process of getting nutrition coaching and personal training sessions with Sumair, I started noticing that I was making major strides in my transformation. To my surprise, I found the greatest changes happening from inside myself instead of on my physical appearance. Sumair was instrumental to my success by coaching me to bash my negative thoughts and reassess my goals and dreams. Most importantly, he taught me to love "me" and to prioritize "me" above all the everyday stresses in life. In parallel, he used his expert knowledge to physically train me, teaching me how to properly do every exercise with optimum form, precision, and breath. To me, Sumair is so much more than a fitness trainer. He is a nutritionist, a healer, a doctor, a therapist, a masseuse, a teacher, a friend, a hero...he possesses limitless gifts and talent. Here at TLF, I feel like I am a part of a family that gives me nothing but love and positive encouragement. With Sumair's help, I know now that I CAN achieve more than I ever dreamed that I could. I would proudly say that joining TLF is by far, the best investment that I've made in my life. Because of this decision, I am empowered with all the tools I need to become a better version of myself and to sustain lifelong improvements towards a healthier and happier lifestyle. The exponential personal growth that I've gained so far is simply priceless! I am eternally grateful for Sumair and the amazing TLF family!!!

Sumair is hands down the best trainer I have ever had. He not only only cares about his client's individual goals, but he also wants you to improve your entire healthy living lifestyle. Since beginning his nutrition program, I have finally recognized, understood, and experienced how nutrition and training go hand and hand. Sumair has also helped me overcome an injury. While the dr's told me to take steroids, splint my arm, etc... Sumair was able to begin the healing with his own techniques, and I never ended up needing the splint, or anything else for that matter. He even let me come see him when he wasn't working, in order to take a look at my arm, and to discuss a game plan for the healing process. TrainLifeFit is a fun, supportive environment, and I can't recommend it enough!
