I really don't interact with the staff at the gym, I just go do what I'm there to do and out. But, one thing for sure is customer service is key to a businesses success and today 11/29 @ about 12:20pm -12:30pm I experienced horrible customer service. I went to the front desk because I was having difficulty uploading my mbership barcode. Well, the female upfront never acknowledged me and she saw me,.I was literally in front of her face! but she continued to fiddle with her cash drawer. Needless to say I figured the issue ON MY OWN and walked away. Never got a, "be with you in a moment", or nothing even after walking off. Let's do better.

This solely based on the men’s sauna. I love TruFit gyms because they all have saunas which I need as part of my cardiac care program. I always take a temperature gauge with me to know for sure that I’m reaping the full benefit. But the minute I walked into this one I knew something was wrong. Sure enough, the peak temperature of 110 degrees wasn’t much hotter than a regular summer day in San Antonio. I have no idea if this is still useful for those seeking muscle benefits but it’s a total waste of time for my purposes. Hope it was just broken, but every other TruFit I’ve been to always cracks the crucial 150 degree+ marker.

Why is this gym so dirty? The women’s bathroom is disguting. I asked one of the female employees if that’s the only women’s bathroom for guests, she said yes. I asked her if she uses that bathroom, to which she replied “No, not if I don’t have to”. The staff knows it’s dirty. Why don’t they take the time to clean? They sure are standing/ sitting around most of the times I’ve seen them. I avoid this gym, unless it’s my last resort due to work location for the day.
If you’re looking for a better location, SW Military is the best.

I joined True Fit in July and paid both July and August membership dues early. I have bank statements to prove this. Despite that, in September I was suddenly charged a $20 “late fee” supposedly from July.

I provided proof that this was incorrect. Both staff members and the general manager admitted it did not make sense and assured me it would be taken care of, and that I would not be charged.

This morning, the $20 fee was still withdrawn from my account. I understand $20 is not a large amount, but when I pay early and am then billed a late fee months later even after proving otherwise, that is unacceptable and feels like fraudulent behavior. I am now contacting my bank regarding the charge.

The only positive I can share is my trainer, Adrian, who has been excellent. Unfortunately, the gym’s billing practices and failure to honor their word completely overshadow that. I cannot recommend True Fit

I love this location! It is the only one I know of with an actual track additional to treadmills. There are multiple classes Monday - Saturday AM and PM. The staff is very welcoming. Lena is an amazing teacher! She is encouraging, knowledgeable, and kind. I don’t want to miss a class! Alan at the front desk is alway so positive and happy to see you. Horrible experience at Trufit on the day of the storm this week. Their power was out and when it came back up, it was only partially working. Which is understandable but they kept the downstairs open and everything else was off limits including the restrooms and water fountains. We were not allowed to purchase water because their machine was down and you’d think they could spare a 2$ water, but I was turned away. Also the roof was leaking in multiple areas they should have closed the gym for safety reasons.

The manager, his name is Raineer, is a flirt which is especially inappropriate at a gym. Since working out can make you feel vulnerable, if you know what I mean, so you want to feel comfortable to work out and not feel exposed. You especially dont want to be harassed at the gym. So when the manager is being inappropriate, it just makes you feel on edge. I just cancelled my membership because I didn't want to deal with it.

This Trufit has smelly machines, mats that are falling apart, a bathroom that consistently has toilets that don't work, and smelly bathrooms with trash bins that are always full. It's mo wonder the machines smell because the disinfectant bottles are always empty. There are also a few restroom stalls that have had stains on the walls since I joined the gym a year ago. I'm not talking about peeling paint or scuffs. Let's just day I don't even want to imagine where the stains came from. If you do join the gym good luck!

I don’t come to this TruFit location often, but every time I have, the experience with the childcare staff has been disappointing. Any time my child gets upset or cries, I’m called almost immediately to pick him up — there’s no real effort made to comfort or soothe him.

At other TruFit gyms, the staff have been much more attentive and caring, which makes a big difference as a parent trying to get in a quick workout.

Today, when I dropped my son off and he started crying, the staff member didn’t even try to help. Instead, she continued chatting with another member while completely ignoring my son’s distress. It made me feel really uncomfortable and unsure about leaving him there at all.

I don’t expect miracles, but I do expect basic attentiveness and care. I hope the gym takes this feedback seriously and works to improve how children are treated in their care.
