Wonderful experience, tried the 1 day pass, took my son and got to see the childcare area, absolutely love the area and reassurance. I want to share my experience as it suppose to be a kids friendly gym or atleast thats how they make it seem when they sell you the memeberships. As i tried to take my 11 year old kid to excercise with me in the treadmills i was blocked any access possible even after given the solution of entering him as a visitor like a normal person to workout lightly with me only that one day. Instead, i was sent to the “Regional Manager”, David, as he was introduced, where he was trying to sell me a whole memebership for the kid. This was really upsetting to me due that i have purchased the “kids friendly” (28 per month) membership and personal trainer mebership($100 per month) but i came to find out the gym is not close to being a “kids friendly gym.” I would recommend if you have kids try Crunch and Planet Fitness where they are truly kids friendly. Also as i now trying to cancel the gym is putting all these barries to canceling the membership, and now implementing minimum of 3-6 months to cancel, also they directed me to an email just complicating the process instead of canceling in person. In conclusion, i was very upset of this gym because all this situation happened infront of the kid where he felt nervous and uncomfortable, a day that started being exciting for going to the gym his first time ended up horrible feeling left out and probably a trauma for him. Over all this is NOT A KID FRIENDLY GYM

I would like to start off by saying that I have been a member at this gym since 2022, and it seems like as time has passed the worse everything has gotten. The building itself can never stay clean for longer than a few days and it shows from the equipment to the locker rooms and bathrooms. There is always something broken whether it be a machine (that there is only one of) or the bathrooms to the point where sewage leaks out from under the bathroom door that is closed. Air conditioning is always on and off which can be felt and if I wanted to work out in a sauna I would go to Sun city athletic club. The locker rooms provide enough space but again, they tend to be dirty or have mystery stains/liquids on the floors and seats. Paper towel dispensers and soap dispensers are always empty which explains the dirtiness. For a commercial gym, there is no space to do anything especially during the peak gym times. Most of the staff is friendly except for the rude encounters I’ve had when I try to bring in a guest and try to sort out a day pass. If you want to spend money at this gym, please make sure to shop around at other commercial gyms because this is a poor excuse especially since they’ve raised their prices…

I’ve been going to TruFit in El Paso for a few months now, and overall it’s been a great gym experience.
The facility is spacious, clean, and well-organized. There’s a wide variety of machines, free weights, and cardio equipment, so I never have to wait too long even during busy hours. I really like that they have a women-only area and group fitness classes that keep workouts interesting. The environment feels friendly and comfortable for all fitness levels.

Been going to this gym for the past 5 months and I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience from the gym itself to the customer service and amenities. In particular Beverly the operations manager has made the gym feel like a second home for me from her always bright and helpful attitude to her customer service and care for the members and gym. She went above and beyond for me in one instance where I lost my wallet at the gym and helped me for 30 min to try and locate it! It’s a testament to the type of people and overall hospitality you can expect at Trufit and I would definitely recommend this gym to anyone in the area!

For the last week, every time I’ve brought my kids to the Kids Club, they’ve been stuck in the theater area because of a so-called “leak.” I’ve had to take my daughter to the restroom multiple times, and every single time, the carpet isn’t even wet. There’s no reason the kids and staff should be trapped in there all day. I love the staff here — they’re amazing and clearly doing their best — but I feel bad for them having to deal with this situation. Management, on the other hand, is completely dropping the ball. This has gone on way too long, and it’s unacceptable. Management needs to fix the problem instead of making the kids and workers suffer for it.

My experience with TruFit started off great. Machines are either broken or in use. There are lots of treadmills upstairs. It would be nice if there were more standing bicycles. Some of the cardio equipment is damaged and you can't put bigger water bottles in the cup holders. The bathroom in the women's locker room has been dirty a lot lately - I recently had an experience where I reached out to the cleaning staff due to another woman having a minor incident. There aren't any changing rooms - so if you are going straight from work, you should change at work. It gets super warm - they put out big fans, but it doesn't help. Some of the staff members are friendly, some are not. They close early-ish on Fridays. One perk is going into the hydromassage chairs after working out. I forgot to mention that the hand sanitizer machines are usually out of hand sanitizer and the soap dispensers aren't always full. I like that there is a women's section to complete weight training, albeit smaller than the general area for both men and women. Beautiful facility though! You would never know that it used to be Sears. I may be switching to another gym.

If you can afford to go to another gym, you should! :) I will say that the top management was nice when I thought I lost one of my sentimental items.
