What truly stands out about Shaquille is his commitment to going above and beyond. He does not simply answer questions he anticipates needs. He checks in without being intrusive, provides clear guidance when equipment is unfamiliar, and consistently makes sure members feel comfortable and confident in their workouts. This gym has gone downhill. Today, May 27, 2025 at around 2 pm, the men's restroom was totally unsanitary. There was urine all over the floor in one of the stalls and a horrible sewage smell inside the restroom. The trash bin in the stall was completely full of toilet paper. Also on different days, there are weights all over the gym floor making a safety hazard. I'm so disappointed because when I joined years ago, this gym was well kept. I just found out today that there are no custodians anymore and that a company has been contracted to clean once a day. What are you all doing with the maintenance fee that we pay every year? These conditions are totally unacceptable! You all need to do some serious upkeep and bring back the custodians. I hope you all address the aforementioned issues in a timely professional manner.

I take back that review. We’ve been going to this gym since it was Cornerstone. After that, several other companies owned it. It stared good under truefit, it is a shame what has become of it in the last year or so. It is embarrassing. They went from having a cleaning crew which was let go for not keeping up with the necessities of the gym, to hiring a contractor to clean the gym a couple of times a week, to not having anyone to keep this place. It has been abandoned by employees, trainers etc. I’ve been there everyday, except Sunday’s for the last 3 years and it is sad that this company can not figure out how to make it work. Dirty, even trainers don’t pick up after their clients, I as a member try to re-rack weight, pick up plates and trash from the floor. For daily gym goers and even employees they know who I am because I am always trying to put equipment back where it belongs. Employees see me doing it and they don’t offer to help or have anyone do it. This pictures show how messy it is and it can stay like that for days. They stopped placing paper towels in the restroom. If you wash your hands or use the sauna, good luck, bring your own towel. People take weights into the restrooms and they stay there for days. No employee cares to put them back. If the company can’t find someone to manage this place, I volunteer. Anyone can do a better job than whatever they’re doing at the moment. The pictures speak for themselves.

People in this gym have no gym etiquette, they don’t rack weights dumbbell nor plates they leave them everywhere. One has limited amount of time and looking for weights that’s aren’t racked is annoying. In addition, there’s elderly people that workout here and this is a safety hazard for them because they can get injured. Machines break and take a while to fix. Restrooms and mirrors are dirty. No maintenance overall; it is frustrating because one pays a maintenance fee and you don’t see the gym up to the standards. I’ve been coming since 2019 to this gym and by far this is the worst state I’ve seen it. One is paying for a service and the quality is reducing. I took photos of how no one racks their weights and how the restrooms are dirty (I made sure no one was in the locker room changing or in the restroom before taking a photo) . The only reason this gym has good reviews is because they were giving out free energy drinks to bring up the reviews which is an unethical business practice that affects the business culture in the valley.

I've been coming here for months and have had an amazing experience with other members and the front desk in the morning is super friendly. I’ve asked her about the machines that are out of order and she’s always good at responding with an understandable response. However my new rate is 1 due to how low maintenance this place is, machines are so dirty, papers everywhere, hand sanitizer soaps are sometimes not refilled, the restrooms are not cleaned, weights all over the place, maintenance people in the morning are walking around or at the front desk not doing anything, the cardio side looks like they haven’t been cleaned in weeks, both rooms for the classes are not cleaned either, management disappears and can’t be found at times. I’m saddened that I’m writing this it used to be so clean and organized.

Do not sign up for Tru Fit, they make cancelling so hard. You can sign up at the gym but cannot cancel you there, thats ridiculous. They tell you to email their "customer service" or call them. If you call customer service they tell you to email in the cancellation request and it requires 30 days notice. I can totally accept the 30 days but to have you email them and not cancel at the gym, thats horrible. Stay away from this gym, they're rude and do not help.
