I visited sthis gym for the first time, the manager was very rude in the front desk. i was told they could not offer me a member since my address was in houston. I went to the female bathroom and there was full trash cans with bloody tampons inside the cans. The guy that did the walk thru was very rude. he keep talking about baby shoes, and making very nasty comments. they had female that could help with the walk through but the lady decided not to go and show me around. they are very expensive. its very loud in there. there is no elevator. i lost my phone after taking a video of how bad the bathroom was. wired. just saying! Earphones employees please beware. becareful giving your credit card for automatic charges. fraud alert! not save!

When I first joined, it was amazing. In the past few months, the gym has changed manager so many times nobody knows who’s in charge anymore. When my college student came into town for the summer break, she signed up for personal training and a gym membership with mine. We canceled in August signed the documents and they still are charging us. When you call ABC to confirm, they say it’s through the gym when you call the gym they say it’s through them. I’m definitely putting stop payments on everything until they resolve this, but I guess I will be looking for a new gym. Also, the fact that nobody wrecks their weights and it’s extremely dirty.

I’ve been at Tru Fit for three years now. During my time here, I’ve seen some positive adjustments made for the user experience in regards to space and equipment, especially at Park North. They expanded the equipment (the added squat racks were awesome) and turf space, and got rid of a class space which allowed for more room for the weight room. Recently they added a new front desk staff, Serena, and she’s been doing a really nice job! Another positive is I like their body composition machine, and the music they play in the weight room. Some of my complaints would be the lack of cleanliness (soap / twl out of stock, spray bottles not filled, turf dirty), weights get spread out often with minimal organization, and sometimes a lack of engagement from the staff as a whole. I don’t always love how they have the classes in the middle of the turf with the loud music.

Trufit as gym is a scam. I never had a problem with the staff they were always nice and helpful but the trufit corporate are just sharks looking to take members money. I was already paying 40 dollars a month which is fine because thats the plan I chose but I did signed up for a personal trainer program they had and I got home and did the math and it honestly wasn't worth it and it was a extra 40 dollars every week not including the monthly gym fee and so I went back the very nxt day canceled the program and the corporate people continued to charge me, in total it was 120 not including club fees and my last straw was they took out my club fee and then a random charge for 29.99 and I went into my "home" gym and canceled the membership showed them my bank statements and the manager Kris sent a email to corporate and they agreed to send me a refund. They called to confirm my address and said I should receive my check in a week or 2. Its been over a month and still havent received any type of check or email or nothing. I tried calling and all they said is its all corporate. If your thinking of going to trufit dont. They will charge you random fees and extra for no reason im not the first or last person they've done this too.

I actually really love the layout of this gym. I think they have some of the best equipment Compared to the other two gyms I usually go to however I was asking for some help about one of my accounts and the manager told me he would look and to come back after my workout. When I came back and asked him, he basically told me he wasn’t gonna help me and that he had to watch the front even though there was somebody else up there. It just seems like there’s no customer service with that guy. It was the skinny Mexican boy that said he was a manager. Other than that the people that go to the gym are really nice. The customer service is just lacking; maybe it’s a training issue, but he definitely was not management material because management at the walzem location is so much more professional.

Hello, my name is Jonathan Appelhanz. Around July, I requested to downgrade my membership to the basic plan ($12.99). I have gone into the gym on three separate occasions to have this corrected, and each time I was told the downgrade was completed. Despite this, I continued to be charged for the premium plan instead of the basic one.

I have enjoyed using this gym and respected the staff, but this ongoing billing issue has been very frustrating. Even after managers and employees assured me the issue was handled, the incorrect charges kept happening.

Unfortunately, due to this repeated problem and lack of resolution, I feel I have no choice but to cancel my membership. I hope Tru Fit can improve their billing process so other members don’t experience the same situation.

FIND ANOTHER GYM!! They accidentally cancelled by membership instead of someone else’s. I had to reopen the account , but tried to charge me an annual fee again , when it had only been about 7 months since I last paid the annual fee. I ended up sending an email to cancel my membership because I thought about it and I wasn’t happy with the service since they never helped me out. Instead of fixing their mistake they ignored my questions. When I contacted them to cancel my membership because I wasn’t happy with their service because they cancelled my membership they didn’t have any answers and all they told me was I was going to get charged for this month and the following month and the annual fee!! I ended up canceling my card. Please save yourself the stress, I shouldn’t have ignored the reviews and listened before I signed up.

It was my first time working out in this gym. I've heard good things so I was really excited for my workout. When I walked in, I was expecting an employee at the desk with a smile and welcoming me in, instead I see 2 people (one tall with dreads and another tall one with glasses and tattoos), they were throwing a football around and completely ignored me as I scanned in. As I walk past, the football hit my head and they started laughing at me. I already cancelled my membership and will NOT recommend anybody come here unless they replace those two football players!

Great gym has a lot to offer, i love the area and the workers make you feel comfortable. The sauna and hydro massage chairs work wonders.
