Tyler has been an amazing asset in my weight loss journey. I have lost 20lbs since I started training with him and a ton of inches! He is truly my cheerleader and helps me to push myself so much further than what I would do alone, plus he makes it fun! He keeps me motivated and accountable to reach my goals. I had no experience with lifting and was really unsure of myself and hesitant to try this (and very self conscious about my body) , but he makes me feel totally comfortable and I look forward to our workouts each week. He’s also very thoughtful and he goes out of his way to check in during the week to help me stay on track. If you want to make a change in your life, don’t put it off any longer and call Tyler! Tyler is an amazing trainer. Not only does he do sessions tailored to your needs- he makes a workout packet and takes the time to link a video showing you how to do the exercise the correct way as well! He is patient with you when he shows you how to do a new exercise even if it takes you 10 minutes to get it.

Yes! If you are looking into a personal trainer for fitness and working out, Tyler is your man. He is extremely knowledgeable about effective exercising and he explains and shows how and why. I appreciated him being prepared with my pre-scheduled workout programs but I most appreciated the text check-ins throughout the week. The home gym is comfortable, private and full of all sorts of exciting equipment. Tyler's personal training service is worth the investment in yourself, you won't regret it.

What can I say - after highs and lows and ebbs and flows with my health and fitness over the years - I think I have finally found the antidote that has worked - TYLER G! This guy has been excellent from day one. He truly takes the time to get to know you before he works with you in order to figure out exactly his approach with YOU, specifically YOU! I love this because, unlike many other trainers out there, he realizes that it's not a one-size-fits-all with his clients! That said, he met me where I was at - the health, weight, and mental place, albeit I am a former athlete that let the years get away from him - and he began to teach, coach, guide and form me along the path I'm currently on and DANG - the results have been steady and quite exciting to be honest. After just a few months, I am pushing 30lbs lost and am now hitting a new stride on fat loss and muscle growth. In some ways, I feel like I just started with Tyler AND in other ways I feel like this has been a long journey with a trainer who I now consider a friend. You will NOT regret at least reaching out to him if your tired of your weight, your health status, or that overwhelming feeling you get when you think to yourself - "dang, I've got to do something about this!" The time is NOW and you want someone like Tyler to do just what he did with me:
1. see you as a person, not a number and not a client.
2. set realistic, yet big goals.
3. always be a motivating/encouraging factor and presence through every workout.
4. be there to help you through plateaus and or struggles along the way.
5. Always ready to hand out high-fives and fist-bumps like they're candy - "fitness candy" though! Come on now. HA!
6. always show you the right form with the exercise before it's your turn to move, lift, push or pull.
7. finding a great balance with setting the right pace for you, listening to you, but also pushing you when you need it.
8. helping you with your diet goals/plans and being ready with lots of suggestions and great advice for the Kitchen goals...

I could go on and on, but why don't you just give it a shot for yourself! You seriously won't regret it. I plan to stay the course with him for the long haul. Let's GO!

I started training with Tyler in October of last year and I was reluctant to hire a trainer due to 1). Cost & 2). I've had a couple of trainers in the past and they just weren't "personable". Tyler has been great since we started and I initially lost 20LB, then we went to a hybrid situation where we do a session every month or so to make sure I'm keeping up and maintaining the progress. Tyler's prices are the best around for independent trainers and I actually succeeded with my goals - all with the help of Tyler. He's going to go a long way in San Marcos or wherever he is, helping people just like me reach their fitness goals.

Just completed my first 12 sessions with Tyler! After turning 40, I felt I needed to start taking better care of my body. Working out in a public gym is not really my vibe so his at home gym was perfect and very professional. He was able to teach me how to develop and maintain a exercise routine. Every Friday he would send me 30 minute exercises I could do at home. Looking forward to our next workout!!!

I have used personal trainers in the past and let me tell you Tyler is one of the best. He pushes me to my limits, listens, ensures I am doing the exercises correctly to minimize injury, and keeps me motivated.

I really enjoy the work outs, his personality, and the idea of working out in a home gym. This is a big plus because you don't have to worry about other folks looking at you while you are training or waiting for equipment. It is more on a 1:1 level in his home.

I highly recommend Tyler if you are looking for a personal trainer that knows what they are doing. His rates a very reasonable, so do yourself a favor and book some time with him!
