I've been a member of this small gym for over a year now, and I have mixed feelings about it. On the plus side, the gym has a cozy and intimate atmosphere, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. But in my opinion, it’s definitely not worth the membership price.

The machines are rather outdated. Everything seems to be from the late 90’s or early 2000’s, and being 6’3” it’s rather tough to squeeze myself into the machines. They do keep the machines well maintained and post notices on things if they are out of commission.

But is it worth $480+ a year? I don’t think so. Especially when your contract ends and they continue to charge you after you called/showed up during staffed hours to cancel your membership.

Awesome little gym! Everything is well placed for it space, the bathroom/shower/locker room has great looking fixtures. And 24 hours? Just what I needed! I haven't had any griefs with this gym yet but everyone minds their business and I've had a great work out there thus far.

This place isn’t like the big chain places.

It is SO CLEAN and everyone here is so helpful. They don’t just greet you when you come in the door, they check on you and they feel like family.

There’s no bad language or half dressed people (which is important to me) and everyone is very friendly.

Would not go anywhere else.

Great gym, friendly staff, very clean. Most of the people that go here have great gym etiquette and are always really nice. They have sanitation at every station and patrons are all really good about whiping equipment down unlike most of the coorperte gyms you go to.

Great family owned gym!! The equipment is great, tons of machines so you never have to wait. Even has locker rooms to shower and change for work or whatever in! They also have new technology available with Inbody measurements and Metabolic Testing that even the most elite gyms don't have! Love this place in Mansfield for all my fitness needs!

So I use to be 350lbs and now 200 so I know what I want from a work out place… I am beyond wow with this place and haven’t even work out yet… the owner was extremely professional sign me up on memorial day weekend ( Monday to be exact ) when he could be out with his family. He seriously answered all my questions and was extremely professional on making sure i would get what I want. I don’t care about money I care more about people and i can tell this is a family oriented place. He was so nice to even give me his personal cell if I ever needed anything… like seriously!??!? Who does that? I’ll tell you, a true professional does. I just move to Mansfield and I’m already finding good places with good people around here.

I’ve been with utopia since their old location off of Broad and Walnut Creek. The new location solved many of that locations problems. I cannot stress enough how great this gym is for people looking for a place that doesn’t have the pretentious feel you get from LA Fitness or Lifetime. Equipment is plenty for the average gym goer, bathrooms are always clean, additional programs that are offered are top notch. And I heard they’re trying to expand. Sounds great!

Even with all of that, what makes Utopia the best is the staff/owners. One day, I even received a phone call asking if I had an issue with the vending machine not vending a Gatorade. I had noticed the bottle didn’t fall down. I tried to get it down to leave a note at the desk for the unlucky person who didn’t get their Gatorade, but was unsuccessful. They reviewed cameras, saw me messing with the machine, and called me to try and make it right and offer a refund even though I wasn’t the one who didn’t pay for the bottle. If that care for their customers doesn’t attest to how great the place is, I don’t know what will.

One of the best gyms I've visited in a long time. Diane and Craig were very professional and allowed me to work out for the two weeks I was help moving family due to the recent winter storm. Utopia gym had a lot of the old school flavor and equipment that many gyms have lost especially the free and machine weight ranges. High recommended Utopia the size still out does some of the larger commercial gyms.

Nice small gym. Its quite and there are usually very few people so it is relaxing. Lots of mirrors and 1 separate room with yoga mats and some other floor exercise equipment. The owners are great at keeping up with all the equipment, nothing is ever broken but if something is they are usually pretty good about replacing/servicing it. The gym its self is clean and the gym members are good at putting away what they use and wiping down the equipment they use. Bathrooms look fancy (in my opinion), they have showers and a few small cube opening lockers to put a change if clothes in. From what I understand this place is family owned and operated. The gym is also 24/7 but have a staff member present 6 days a week at posted times. It is 30$ a month for a 1 year contract (at the time I signed up in Dec. 2020). They also have a few personal trainers that work in the gym but not for the gym, if that make sense. There are water fountains and a vending machine with sports drinks. There are also complimentary white towels to wipe your sweat with and spray bottles with disinfectant by every machine with a green microfiber cloth (so please wipe down after yourself!).

Do NOT recommend them to anyone. My daughter somehow got me talked into going in there with her one morning, the owner had us sign a year contract, clearly I should've said no. A trial or even looking at the bathroom would've shown me real quick this isn't the place for us. Fast forward to a year later, where I've now met all my contractual obligations & I called to verify what extra steps if any needed to be met to ensure my account is no longer withdrawn, keeping in mind I've paid them $58 a month x 12 months, which has been all profit to them. Drew, the young man who answered the phone said he had to call his manager, never got my name or any of the info, just hung up on me. When I called back & said did you just hang up on me? He said ya, we have called ID. Well genius, my name isn't the same as the # I called you from, let alone you should never ever hang up on a customer! This place is a joke!! Broken machines & rude teenagers running it?!? WOW!!!!
