I've been to Crossfit gyms a number of places...Houston, Austin, New York, London. Shotgun Crossfit in Uvalde ranks highly on all marks. Awesome community, coaches, programming and equipment.

Mandi is a great owner and excellent coach. The staff was very knowledgable, and always had alternatives to movements to work around injuries, and good scaling options. Great atmosphere and community vibe as well, everyone was very welcoming, no big egos. Lots of equipment available, rowers, assault bikes, dbs, KBs, wbs, ect, more than most gyms I've been to (and I've been to a lot). Overall one of my top favorite boxes I've been to, and I've been to quite a few. The building is very unique as well and plays into the crossfit story, an old Coca Cola factory converted into a crossfit facility! This box is as much a gem as the rivers of Southwest Texas are (which are short distances from Uvalde!), consider yourself lucky to workout here.

Was on travel to the area, sent owner a question, & she didn't bother to get back to me. I went to train in the evening as reccomended by a member, but was turned away when my time could have been respected by a simple "no," to my inquiry.
