I originally walked into Versatile Fitness after graduating with my degree from UTEP in 2011, out of shape and feeling bad about the way I looked. The owner, Flora Meraz was friendly and confident that she could help me reach some short term fitness goals I made for myself. After learning about the importance of good nutrition in combination with increasing my physical activity, I began training with Flora 3 times a week in addition to daily cardio sessions. It was not a quick or easy process but with her encouragement, guidance and knowledge I was able to lose 50 pounds and wear clothes I never thought I would fit into. I quickly fell in love with going to the gym after I started to see the results I once believed were impossible to achieve.
The value and importance of taking care of myself and making my health a priority is a lesson I continue to work at ; but I know that when I enter the doors of Versatile Fitness Flora Meraz is there ready to help me be the best version of myself!

Versatile Fitness Gym is a very clean area to workout. My trainer Flora is always available in any question I may have. Also, I like the she was different ways of training such as personal and true an app when I don't have time to do it in person or when I’m out of town. I really like this gym and the environment.

Versatile Fitness gym is everything i was looking for and more, Flora is a trainer with 20+ years of experience she has helped me reach my goals with customized training exercises along with meal plans that not only makes me feel excellent and energetic but also I feel great with my body. I definitely recommend this gym , it’s a great environment with top of the line equipment for all levels of training from beginners to advanced.

Great local gym!
Clean, and very well kept equipment.
The owner Flora is awesome and very friendly. The regulars as well are very nice too. Overall you don't get the "judgemental influencer" vibes you get in other gyms. The trainers are really nice as well and are always open to help. Best of all, it's never overly crowded like other gyms.

Flora is an amazing trainer. She’s been my trainer for years now. I started coming with her after a hip injury and she’s gone above and beyond to modify my exercises due to my injury and to help me reach my fitness goals. The gym is family oriented and I bring my kids here too. They all have their own gym membership here. The gym is always clean. If you want a clean gym without all of the waiting for machines, this is definitely the place to go!!
