As a beginner, I have had an exceptional experience attending Pilates classes at Vigor. Brenda demonstrates a deep understanding of Pilates and provides guidance throughout each session. Her sessions are designed to build strength, flexibility and balance. I highly recommend Vigor Pilates to anyone seeking a high-quality Pilates experience.

Vigor Pilates is a classical Pilates studio that has truly changed my mindbody connection for the better! I had dabbled in Pilates (classical and contemporary) over the years; Vigor Pilates is the studio that has inspired me to commit to a dedicated practice.
Brenda is a phenomenal teacher - the pace and flow of her classes, her attention to detail and transitions, and her cueing are amazing. I have felt stronger, had better posture, and have been more connected to my breath and how it can lead the movement of my body.
Alina and Taylor are fantastic! I have unlocked muscles that I did not know I had access to and learned to release in places I hold tension - their challenging flows are fun and I feel so energized and accomplished after a class!
The small group size means that the instructors can be attentive and supportive during class. Students get the added benefit of feeling a part of the classroom community. Vigor Pilates is a place where teachers and students all know each others names! 🤍
If you’ve been considering attending a group class or taking private instruction, take this as your sign! This is a special studio!!

Really beautiful studio that focuses on traditional/classical Pilates with a warm and welcoming staff!
I see Brenda for private classes and she is incredible. She utilizes her astute knowledge of Pilates and understanding of anatomy to really assess your body and decide which exercises will help strengthen your body in the ways that you need.
I feel very supported, encouraged, and most of all challenged working with her in my Pilates practice. Her attention to form has advanced my practice and brought so much more awareness to my mind-body connection than I thought possible! I’m already seeing micro improvements to my posture since I started seeing her about a month ago too.
Highly recommend this studio for Pilates!! While there are plenty of contemporary/Pilates-inspired studios here in Austin to choose from, this studio is rare in that it teaches true Pilates. Here you’ll learn the correct form, precision, and control that makes Pilates challenging. I leave my sessions sore the next day in these teeny tiny muscles I didn’t even know I had, but were getting activated under her guidance. This studio is over 30 min away from me and it is absolutely worth the drive every time for me.
Seeing Brenda has been a game-changer for me in my Pilates practice!

I recently started taking classes at Vigor, and as a complete beginner to pilates, I can honestly say it’s been such a wonderful experience! Brenda is incredibly patient and encouraging — she makes you feel comfortable right away. Each class leaves me feeling stronger, more flexible, and surprisingly relaxed. I love how she focuses on proper form and really takes the time to explain each movement. Not to mention the studio has such a beautiful aesthetic to it!

Every time I take a class at Vigor I learn something new about my body and how my posture is overcompensating for my deficiencies in back and hip strength. I’m also able to transfer this knowledge to weightlifting . The instructors here are also very passionate and knowledgeable about Pilates and they take a lot of pride in teaching you strength and mobility based on the classical Pilates method .

What an incredible experience at Vigor pilates studio!
