I came to Shauna in January 2025. A woman who had been through so much I had gained a lot of weight and I was out of competition shape when I tell y'all she is the best coach I have ever had. She is the best coach I have ever had under her. I managed to go pro and Look the best I have ever looked in my bodybuilding career. Shauna is an amazing coach. She is a woman who has a gift to build other others into Love on other others. She's also upfront honest and hold her athletes accountable She's very patient understanding nurturing, and she helps in ways that other coaches have never been able to help in ways she doesn't have to. Just like anybody, she cares about her money but finances take second place to her athletes, mental health and she shows that every day. We talk every day we see each other every day we laugh together we travel together. She is just an amazing person overall thank you for everything you have done for me And if you are wondering if you should hire her as a coach, my reply is what are you waiting for? She is truly a godsend. PS she is super affordable in the past. I've paid upwards of $550 a month for a coach. That was all online she trains me Multiple times a week in person, checks my blood work checks on my mental health make sure I'm getting enough sleep and is a sounding board for a lot Of ideas. And I don't pay $550 a month that's for sure. She definitely knows what she's doing! And she's fairly priced.

I signed up with Vixen because I needed a push to get back into working out. When I first started everything was great. I felt pushed and I felt encouraged; I was getting weekly meal plans sent to me per our “contract” we were meeting at our scheduled times everything was great. However about two-three months in everything changed. It was as if I wasn’t being taken as seriously because I wasn’t going to compete. I stopped receiving meal plans, weigh in’s stopped and the accountability that was there at the beginning wasn’t there anymore.
Shauna had made it very clear when I first started personal training sessions with her that If I wanted to cancel a session I had to do so in 24 hours; if not I would lose my session. That is a common rule for most trainers, so I made sure that I did my best to cancel 24 hour ahead of time when I did need to cancel; I think I only gave less than 24 hours’ notice one time in the approx 7 months I went. Shauna on the other hand canceled on me 7 times within a span of 3 months with barely any fair warning; many were either an hour or three hours before the session. Many times she would cancel on me on the spot when I had just drove all the way down to field house, however the last straw broke when she no showed on me two times within two weeks. I drove down to field house; waited for her to show and she never did. Only to be told via text that she forgot to text me; completely un-professional. She holds this standard of cancelling within 24 hours for her clients but I am PAYING HER and she can’t even be professional enough to do the same. I was paying her for a service I was not receiving, she wasn’t showing and I hadn’t received a meal plan in months.
It was as if she just stopped caring about me as a client because she had other clients who were competing and bringing in money for her. I had emailed her and told her that I would like a refund because I couldn’t continue to be cancelled on. She replied with “I am Not issuing you a refund I am sorry for any inconvenience. You are scheduled Friday at 1 pm we can do a make up Wednesday at 1”. I emailed her multiple times to work things out however instead of replying back she went into my account and deleted PAID sessions from my account.
After multiple attempts to receive a refund from Shauna due to her lack of providing services I contacted the Better Business Bureau. She never responded and refused to cooperate with the investigation. I had hope that we could work this out and she would provide me a refund, honestly I thought when I sent her my request for refund she would be happy to refund me and get rid of me as a client; since I wasn’t competing and she never took me seriously. Shauna currently has approx. $500 of mine that she won’t refund, and has went in to my account and deleted paid session’s.
Shauna is also very intense, which can be a great as a trainer if done properly except she comes off as a bully at times. I have personally heard her discount and talk about her clients negatively. She has pointed out people to me at the gym and talked destructively about them. She even brags about going up to people and shaming them in front of others; telling them they aren’t ready for competition and that they have a long way to go. She creates an environment where you are on eggshells; always wondering what mood she would be in that day. When she would talk badly about others especially her own clients I knew that she had to be talking bad about me as well and that never sat well with me.
I do acknowledge that Shauna has done great things for other people, and her group classes are awesome. However I cannot support a business like this and will continue to share my experience with others.

Best decision I made while stepping into a gym setting. Coming from a very overweight background to going to a gym was intimidating however Shauna made it easy to become part of the gymlife tribe. I lost over 20% body fat following her workout plans and nutrition plans. She's tough and will push beyond your preconceived limits without batting a lash. I have recommended to many of my friends to work with her one-on-one or within the group setting to become acclimated to a gym setting and gain a supportive tribe.

Shauna has been an amazing coach. She sees the potential in her clients and pushes us to hit our goals and then some. She is exactly what a personal trainer should be like.

A “just ok” experience if you don’t mind having a trainer who wants to bully you into a body building or bikini competition, mostly for her gain. Shauna doesn’t mention everything it will cost you. She leaves out the part where you pay her way to the show to go with you (to the competition SHE insisted you do) and that she gets credit for her own competition needs when she forces you to use her contacts, such as the $400+ competition suit. Oh, and for as long as you need to train for your show (that she chooses), you will need to be paid up on sessions for those months. Be ready to hear her daily life stories and the business of everyone she knows because she is either talking nonstop about herself, her kids, her drama...or trashing everyone she disagrees with, to include her other clients, other competitors that no longer use her service, or others in the gym who aren’t using the correct techniques in her opinion. Yes, you will learn the exercises, possibly lose weight when eating according to her mundane copy and paste meal plan that she sends to everyone- but it comes with a price. She is unprofessional, makes the rules up as she goes, and only provides encouragement when she feels like it. (You will definitely know when she is in a mood, on her period, etc- most of the time she will just blatantly tell you.) She treats her clients as if she is the one paying them, not the other way around. I did not appreciate being treated that way when I was the one that paid $1500 in advance for my sessions. One day I showed up at the gym, said hello to Shauna with enthusiasm, and she blew me off. I proceeded to do my warm up exercises, then approached her when I was done to start the session. As rude as possible in front of other gym workers, she let me know we didn’t have a session that day. I had it mixed up. She turned away from me as if I was bothering or embarrassing her, and continued with her conversation. I have never felt so devalued as a customer or client than I did that day. My goal was to learn new exercises and not be so afraid of using the equipment in the gym due to lack of knowledge. Instead, this experience turned me off completely and I dreaded going to my one-on-one sessions. I ended up cancelling early and just forfeiting my remaining sessions because I knew she would never return my money. I’m not sure exactly what the contract says because she never offered me a copy, and really rushed me through it when I signed up. I regret not getting that copy. Beware and be ready if you decide to try this one-woman-show for yourself.
