I haven't been playing much golf recently and wanted to get back into it, so I decided to check out Whitehead Fitness. Michael and Austin were fantastic! They taught me how to incorporate strength training to improve my golf swing, which was exactly what I needed. As a rehab chiropractor, I can see the effort, knowledge, and education they've invested into their approach. It’s clear they’ve put in the time to master their craft. If you're looking to improve both your fitness and your golf game, I highly recommend them. They really know their stuff!

Working out with Michael Whitehead and Austin Escamilla has really helped my golf game. I have been working out with Austin for about one year, once per week. My strength has improved and I’ve gotten more limber, especially in my core. Plus Austin gives me golf lessons during our workout. Overall taken 2 strokes off my handicap since early 2023. I’d recommend this gym to golfers and non-golfers alike. Grade A group at Whitehead Fitness.

I’ve worked with trainers at equinox, paid golf professionals for countless lessons, I’ve tried a personal trainer that comes to my home gym, and I’ve tried paying a well known bodybuilder to write workout plans for me.
However, nothing I did was more tailored, more personal, and more educational than working with Michael Whitehead. I heard several guys who were members at my golf club talk about how much working with Michael had helped them. One of them in particular had lost enough weight I hardly recognized him. After losing money to him on the course I asked what he attributed the improvement in his game to. He said it was losing weight and gaining mobility by working with whitehead fitness. I finally decided to reach out.
Whitehead fitness taught me about the golf swing, the areas of my body that need to be flexible to have a more consistent motion, the areas of my body that need to be strong, and the right stretches & exercises to get me to the next level. I now consider Michael a friend.
The probability that you will regret working with Whitehead Fitness is low. It is a worthwhile investment and I would recommend giving them a shot.

Michael Whitehead is an incredible trainer and that doesn’t even begin to describe how great of a person he is. He truly cares about his students, and loves working with the younger generation. I was lucky enough to work with him during high school to beef me up a little for college golf, and I wouldn’t have wanted to work with anyone else. If you’re looking for a trainer in the Houston area, I highly recommend!

Their expertise in creating custom programs designed to meet your goals comes from years of experience as high level athletes, and constant study of what movements make the biggest impact. Whether your goals are to feel better, look better, or hit the golf ball further, they're willing to take that journey with you step by step. For me, I wanted to hit the golf ball further and improve general strength, and I can't stress enough how personal this training is, as each session is tailored to your exact goals, and the whole team is excited to help you reach them. Excellent and Personalized service! At Whitehead Fitness they treat each person with professionalism, they are extremely knowledgeable, but most importantly they care about the well being of their clients in all aspects. Michael, help me overcome an overuse running injury that I was dealing for years, he would monitor my progress and adjust accordingly every time. Michael is a extraordinary trainer. I went today for my first assessment and training and it couldn’t have gone better. I play golf at the professional level and Michael was able to find trouble spots and we will work to make them better and make my golf game better. He is an amazing trainer and if you’re a golfer then it’s a no brainer that fitness is a huge part of getting better at this game and Michael is the guy to go see. Very intelligent and has all the personal experience needed.

I am a doctor who focuses on the biomechanics of the body......Jordan, Michael & Amanda know their stuff!!!!
After my first visit the knee pain I have had for a year was resolved. I can literally feel the biomechanical changes they are making and it feels amazing. I have better mobility and now since I have better mobility my strength is improving without having any pain involved!
They are gifted, knowledgeable & caring. My day to day life feels better and running, biking, swimming & lifting is now working the way I want it to. Thank you Whitehead Fitness!!!!!!!!

I absolutely love working with Jordan. Her sessions are phenomenal. She is great at finding the balance between pushing her clients and meeting them where they are. I really appreciate the extra care she takes in her assessment and exercise selection. Being 5 months postpartum, I was concerned about my fitness level and what I could get out of training, but Jordan assessed my current abilities and gave me exercises and guidance tailored to exactly where I was to help me get to where I want to be. I can’t recommend Whitehead Fitness highly enough. Can’t wait to keep working with them!

Michael is a phenomenal trainer. I’m a golfer and Michael played professional golf for many years so his knowledge of the body’s patterns for golfers is excellent. He is an excellent communicator for all people and his energy is electric which is necessary for a 7 am workout haha. I can not recommend this place enough

Michael is the real deal. I was experiencing age and golf related hip issues and he provided targeted exercises along with core strength training to help alleviate the pain while improving my range of motion - I am also hitting the ball further! Well worth the time and money for anyone, regardless of age, looking to improve health, range of motion, and performance.
