Gym was a nice size to hold the state competition Various sessions made the seating available to all. The only thing they need more seats available to see across the floor. Everyone was so courteous in letting families to film if they wanted to. But it was a large venue and would love for state to come back here. Lots of parking was available also.

My daughter loves to come here for gymnastics, tumbling and other activities. The practice area is huge and coaches are nice. The front desk helps customers to answer all questions. The fees are reasonable. This gymnastics area is for all ages and capabilities. It has rooms for arrangement of birthday parties. Large waiting area for guardians to hang out. They have variety of schedule for your kids need.

We liked the coaches but management is awful. No value or appreciation given to customers who have spent thousands here. Will not be going back after having two kids enrolled here over a total of 5 years.

I visited the gym this past February looking to get some information regarding classes schedule and levels competition. We are locating to Frisco this year and my daughter is currently in Level 2. The front staffs wasnโ€™t really educated much regarding any info. They advise me to wait for the coaches. I wouldnโ€™t say they were rude, I just felt like they had better things to do than try to help. We had to just wander around on our own. Which is not much, since you need to find a seat downstairs in front of the glass or go upstairs and try to squeeze to get a view. Since many parents were putting their feet up against the glass. The facility was clean and there were many kids practicing. I was impressed with the older levels. The coaches seemed very friendly with the girls. Just wish that the front desk can be a little more friendly since they are the first line of communication and interactions (or should I say no interaction).

I was very impressed with the staff and gym when visiting for the first time. I called the day of my daughters first class and I spoke with the front desk staff. She was very helpful and friendly. When we arrived, we went to the front desk and she already knew who we were before I said anything. She was ready for my daughter and gave her a wrist band to let the coach know it was her first day.

The coaches were very inviting and spoke with me after her class. My daughter has been with WOGA for a little over 2 months now and she absolutely loves it. She takes 2 classes per week and never wants to leave.

Is this ridiculous?ย  The gymnastics center in Frisco asked all parents to spend $400 to buy a "customized/tailored" dress for their competition event.ย  After paying the $400 and waiting for a month and a half, the "customized and tailored" dress was way too small for my daughter to fit in.ย  Omg...is this a joke??
I took the dress back to the gym and asked for either a refund or exchange for another dress that my daughter could actually fit in.
Without apologizing for this error, the manager simply replied, "it happens," and took the dress back.

A few months ago, the staff at the gym told us that we needed to participate in an upcoming competition and that buying the "custom" made dress is mandatory. and I followed their instructions and paid the $400 for the dress.

Surprisingly, the staff told us a few weeks ago that my daughter won't be able to compete because "my daughter is not ready yet (for the competition)."
I then asked about the money that I had already paid for the "customized" dress? The staff said. " That is not refundable because it is a custom-made dress."
Finally, I got to pick up the "customized" dress that I was asked to pay to be used for a competition that they decided to cancel...

Well, here is the customized and tailored $400 drees that I was forced to buy.
It does not fit at all!!

But what really surprised me was what the gym manager's reply to this whole fiasco unapologetically, "it just happens.."

Update information : Got their refund check of $324.75 on 8/28/23

I would like to give a shout out to Chelsea. We brought our boys in for one of the camps and she was very helpful. She really seemed to know the answers to all my questions and was very great with our oldest who can be very timid when around new people and new surroundings. She made our kids feel welcome the whole time they were there.

Good place for entry-level learning. I moved my kid from another location ( she is into level 3)and heard about this place and reviews. Moved my kid here to get into compitative mode. But when it comes to training and motivation to kids, don't find any great carriculam, no regular testing of levels at least quarterly or yearly. Not happy.

As they have multiple centers, they should keep some competition in that level and encourage kids to the next levels, and kids can be motivated to learn and perform well.

My son went to a birthday party here awhile back and had a blast. Since he had so much fun at the birthday party we decided to check out their summer camp. First thing he said was I LOVE IT HERE!

He plays all different sports and has done sports camps so we wanted to change it up with a gymnastics based camp. He enjoyed all the different exercises, challenges and of course the trampoline. He also worked hard using all the different muscle groups which will help with his sports. Most important he had fun and said he made 7 friends on the first day of camp.

The staff was really nice, well organized and did well with all the different age groups. The lobby is clean and spacious allowing you to sit and watch your kiddo comfortably.

Great place, but they choose not to enforce the "required" mask usage for adults.

I have a health condition, so I am forced to wait outside because if this. If I see enforcement of the rule going forward I will gladly remove this review.

Update: The mask mandate is over so I changed my one star to a four star.

We loved WOGA. Our son started at 3.5 years old and attended until he was 5, weekly. We only stopped due to our schedule becoming too busy. The coaches are great. Coach Brella and Coach Katie are great with the young kids. The people who work the front desk have always been helpful.

I highly recommend the toddler/pre-k course, it helped develop my sons gross motor skills and help build his confidence in himself, both physically and socially.

Not Covid friendly unfortunately.

This is our second year with WOGA- weโ€™ve tried both the Plano and Frisco locations. All the teachers (and front desk staff) are fantastic, especially Brella. She always goes the extra mile for my daughter and sheโ€™s absolutely adored. Unfortunately since she teaches up to age 5 only, we donโ€™t have her as a teacher anymore but still love seeing her around.

Only kids over 10 are required to wear a mask and the classes are quite packed. 99.9% of the kids arenโ€™t wearing masks, including the ones 10 and up. Also in the viewing area, the seats are separated but there are always 3-4 fools either not wearing masks at all, or wearing it under their nose. Unless you make a big deal out of it and point it out to the staff, they wonโ€™t call them out on it. Wish they were more cautious. Else Iโ€™d definitely be giving it 5 stars.

Update: As of March 21, barely any of the parents sitting upstairs wear a mask.

My daughter loves come to WOGA the staff is wonderful extremely professional. They also are learning so much. The way it is set up truly show how they can teach your child to do proper gymnastic over time. we had friend and family member that have gone to other gymnastic school and their kids had trained for many year and all they can do is a cartwheel or a back walk over. After 8-10 yrs of training I would expect more from them. I also had friend that have sent their kids to WOGA and got huge improvement within 1 year of training.

Great place for kids gymnastics lessons. The waiting room where parents can watch is usually pretty loud and a little stinky so I prefer to wait in my car or run errands. I've had kids in classes from ages 4-10 and they always love it and get stronger even with just once a week lessons.

My child has gone to this gym for 6 years, and in this amount of time I have watched it decline to a point that is beyond repair. Front desk staff is rude and seem to be uninformed and just making things up as they go. The coaching staff is pitiful and constantly changing. The first 4 years we were here there was very nice and helpful office workers and coaches actually cared. Now, everyone who was good has left, and so will we.

My concerns have been taken care promptly. I got a phone call today morning and the person was respectful and listened to my concerns.

She also suggested that the experience will be taken in order to train the staff at handling such situations better.

So Thank You to Woga Gymnastics.

I am very satisfied now with the business and am updating the ratings from 1 star to 5 star.

Below is my initial review and concern that I had posted.

************************************************

Very rude staff in Woga Frisco. Besides that I am okay. This comment and rating is not for teachers or Facility or the cost.

My story:

My daughter missed classes as we went out of country due to sickness of grand parent. We missed 4+ classes and 2-3 classes we cant do as they are closed om Thanks giving and coming Xmas. So a total of 7 classes which has been paid.

I requested to the front desk explaining the situation. I at no time asked for money back as I know that they are running a facility and it has its cost. What I requested was accomodation of classes and timings if possible or to push the makeup class to January which is 15 days out because of there facility being closed .

The front desk lady said she will allow to do 2 makeup classes in 4 days as they will close from dec 19- Jan 2 . I requested 1 to be done in January which she said No as she said only 1 makeup class per month policy and she is doing favor to me by giving 2.

I understand policy, but there is courtesy too. They are closing from Dec 19th so why force my daughter to take 3 of them in 4 days when she has other things to do as well and gets tired doing just 1-2 a week.

Anyways more than anything, it was rudeness and lack of customer care.

I am not choosing to quit because of the owners who are proud gymmnast and the sincere efforts to grow gymnastic, but I hope they train front desk staff to be nice to the customers

1. They charge you a registration fee EVERY year. Even though our child has gone without a break, yes.
2. The annual performance is by booking a spot. So not all the kids get to show what they've learnt. They will send ONE small paper slip home with the HURRY note, but NO other reminders or encouragement. Shame on you WOGA!
3. Their real fees are way more than the $92 they claim. They never allow rescheduling for holidays and their own vacation week. In essence you are paying upward of $110 per month for 4 classes. NOT worth it!

Beautiful, clean facility. However, I am very disappointed in the lack of consistency in the coaching staff. For the past two weeks the lady from the office has been subbing my daughters class. I understand that staff needs vacation, time off etc, but it was clear she was under qualified and according to my daughter, used some very inappropriate language. Not to mention she was saying some disparaging remarks about the regular coach. Very unprofessional imo.

My daughter attended classes here for 2 years with the same level. Coaches never communicate the progress and areas of improvement. My daughter was scared of Bars and they never put any effort to help her come over that fear. Instead they suggested private lessons with them which are awfully pricy.
Many times my daughter came with nail scratches when asked she told it's her coach who has big nails and got cut during class.I called them twice and did not get the apologetic response I was expecting.
They allow only one makeup class for a month even if your kid is sick or for.any other situation.
We were going on vacation so I took her out from class and after 2 days she had makeup class and they said they won't allow her as she is not enrolled with them anymore.
I wouldn't recommend anyone. There people are completely money minded.

My daughter attended classes here for 2 years (age 3-5). I would say it depends on the level of your child, and the instructor, as to how to rate. We had numerous coaches. Overall, just average. They are definitely looking for their next Olympian. If you are looking for re recreational, pass on this place. I received very little communication as to how she was progressing.
