We LOVE the Woodlands Sportsplex! My daughter has been enrolled a little over a year and has absolutely excelled at tumbling and gymnastics. My daughter has an upper limb difference and the coaches have been so supportive and adaptive to her needs and learning capabilities! We are truly thankful for her coaches helping her reach her full potential instead of holding her back. Her back handspring look amazing πŸ₯°!

We’ve really enjoyed being at Woodlands SportsPlex! We made the switch from another gym, and it’s been such a positive change. My daughter has continued to improve month over month thanks to the smaller class sizes and the extra attention she receives from the coaches. She’s grown so much in both skill and confidence, and she genuinely looks forward to every class. We’re now part of more than one class because she enjoys it that much! Couldn’t be happier with our experience here.

I enrolled my daughter in this gym after speaking directly with Coach Mandy, who assured me her class would be a good fit for children who are not yet fully in the listening stage. That gave me confidence to sign up.

Unfortunately, our experience has not reflected what was promised. On one occasion, Coach Mandy brought my daughter back to me right after class had just started, stating that because she was running around, she could not participate. This was very discouraging and completely inconsistent with what was described to me before enrollment. The coach has often spoken to the children in a way that feels discouraging rather than supportive, and my concerns about this have not been addressed. If your small child is not in the listening stage, this program is not for them. Additionally, my child only attended three classes and a partial refund wasn’t even offered due to unprofessionalism.

I expected a positive and patient environment that nurtures young gymnasts, but that has not been the case. I am sharing this review so other parents can make informed decisions. I hope the gym takes steps to create a more encouraging atmosphere for all children.

Really bad service, nasty attitude, super unprofessional-The instructor does not care for the children and dismisses children β€œwhom are not tough enough for their class”

would not recommend the gymnastics program for ages 4–6 at Woodlands Sportsplex. The coach seemed unprepared to work with young kids who have higher energy and need a little extra patience.

On the very first class, only a few minutes in, the coach pulled a child aside and told her she could not participate instead of working with her. Expecting 4–6 year olds to immediately know what to do without patient guidance is completely unrealistic, especially in a beginner program. By the second class, the coach wasn’t even giving proper directions and seemed to give up quickly.

Young kids deserve patient instruction and encouragement. Not to be excluded from a class they were excited to join. Other programs, like martial arts schools, prove that with patience and proper teaching, energetic kids can thrive. Unfortunately, that was not the case here.

I was celebrating my daughter’s 3rd birthday party with about 20 kids (plus parents). I have an older son so had my fair share of birthday parties with various places from outdoor parks/splash pads to indoor centers. This place has given us by far the best experience and there are so many aspects: staff is friendly, efficient and customer service oriented (reservation was easy but the best was during the event!) the place is clean with a beautiful bright big room to celebrate. The set up was generous and the facilities themselves to roll, jump around and run around were available to us exclusively (that’s their policy!). The place was ours for the entire two hours- heaven not too loud with our own music and coaches to entertain the kids. Well done and a huge thank you for one of the very few stress free parties for had for my kids so far!!!

The tumbling class at Woodlands Sportsplex is fantastic! The instructors are friendly and make learning fun. Safety is a priority, and they break down moves into manageable steps. My child is gaining coordination, strength, and confidence while having a blast. Highly recommend!

We did a summer camp here last summer (2023) for our 1st grader (half day) - it was fun for him. We recently hosted his 8th Birthday Party here and to say it was awesome is an understatement!

The staff from booking until the day of was fantastic! Super efficient, fast and easy to book and host a party here! We played dodgeball and nerf! Nate (the coach) even got the adults to play adult vs child!

Both coaches were enthusiastic and definitely helped hype up the birthday boy!

Thank you for making my kiddos day memorable!

Showed up as a guest for team party. No direction, no organization, no format until...time is almost up. Facilities were nice enough, but you are on your own to figure out what to do and what not allowed to do.

A nice place to go for a walk. Everyone you meet is friendly, and you can stop, sit a spell and watch a game, or practice.

Great facility. My son is trying out flag football for the first time and the staff have been very good. We really like Joey and all he does to build confidence with each of the kids even the ones who aren’t super athletic.

Facility is very nice; appreciate having shade during the Saturday games. Would prefer just one FF game per Saturday versus two unless they’re back to back. We live close enough that it’s not a huge deal, though.

Great facility. The Jiu-Jitsu classes are great! The instructor does a great job with kids, always patient and detail-oriented. They learn efficient self-defense techniques while have tons of fun with the Jiu-Jitsu games. I highly recommend!

The kids' first basketball lessons were held here. We saw baseball and soccer summer training camps as well. Plenty parking space sharing with the grocery, most of the facility was covered, and the toilets well-maintained.

Worst ever experience celebrating a b-party.
The customer service, once they face a logistics problem, it was TERRIBLE..
At the end, we ended up with 15 kids not having pizza after 2 hours playing...
And the personnel chatting on their phone.

The facility is nice, the games organization was fine. The last 60 min were a nightmare.

If you would have asked me a year ago it would have been 5 stars and I recommended it to everyone. Then they keep changing your memberships it use to be 1 hr per day free in cages with or without a pitching machine. Now it can only be batting cages with machines. If not working on a machine they charge your account and you find out in email. We loved there summer hours some nights open till midnight. Now we will check schedule says open till 9 we head that way get there at 8pm and nope they are closed for no posted reason. There is so much change and inconsistencies. We miss what once was now it just isn't worth the cost. Hope they change back to how it was before as most members are not happy from the ones who I have spoken too with the changes now.

The new Woodlands Sportsplex has everything you would need in exercise and fitness. Personal training, batting cages, basketball, volleyball, weight training, smoothie bar, sports rehabilitation, and a large outdoor covered football field are just a few things offered. If you are near the Woodlands stop by and check it out.

Opening in 2019. An indoor sports facility that will have baseball, softball, football, basketball, soccer, lacrosse, dodgeball, strength & conditioning, and more. Hopefully they will have a youth dodgeball league! I believe it would be the only one in the Houston area.
