Great place to work out and focus on your health goals. Shawn was super affable and helpful as well as very knowledgeable when I went to sign up for the DRIP program with my girl. He's always super friendly and courteous every time we see him in there. The staff is A1!

OPEN ENDED MEMBER SHIP:
I was told “cancel anytime, no 12 month commitment needed.” Went to cancel membership, apparently there is a “30 DAY NOTICE” no one told me about until morning of cancellation. Cost me an extra $44 plus tax. While there, I did review the advertise ment on the front desk too. No mention of it. I did not appreciate the lack of transparency.

The trainers at World Gym are top notch! Classes with Shawn & Victor have been challenging, encouraging and I’ve gained lots of knowledge. Krista is a general manager that makes you feel cared about. If you’re looking for community, but nervous to start… definitely check this place out!

I was just trying to work out and the front desk lady accuses me of not checking in. when I tried to pay for a day pass she wouldn't let me pay because I didn't have an ID even though I'm 18 and told me to leave while my ride and friends were literally there working out and I had to wait outside for them to finish. Worst gym experience of my life.

Had to come on here and the leave the ultimate review for the ultimate employee… Mr. Chris (been working since April) has been my hero without a cape, my knight in shining armor, the light to my darkness, Mr. Chris has helped me with so much.. I once failed a 295 bench or 133 kgs and Mr. Chris came to my aid and not only levitated the bar off my hands but then proceeded to walk with the bar to the front desk to be of aid to someone else in need! Chris is the ultimate hero and can never be replaced!

Had to come back and give this place a review after having an awful experience with my gym back home.

I was up in the area for a travel assignment, and decided to sign up for this gym. It was smaller than I was used to, but gym culture is amazing and definitely exceeded my expectations. Weights are always organized, equipment options are great, and the workers are really nice. The place is maintained incredibly as well. The gym I am at right now back home for the same price is such a downgrade! Definitely grateful for a great experience here at World Gym.

Top notch place, if you are looking for supportive place with more weights and less cardio machines come here, they dont have 30 treadmills, but the people are far less judgmental. Front desk help is great, chris is a solid guy, the 1 star review here is delusional , they dont discriminate and everyone minds their business unless you FAFO or cause problems. Used to love this gym but lately I’ve noticed this one lady working there is awfully rude. As soon as I walked in, she immediately came up to me asking if I checked in, I was surprised because Ive never been approached in such a hostile way but I replied I have & she even went to double check everything was fine after never thought much of it, but recently Ive seen these 2 teenagers literally do the same thing & in the middle of them trying to work out, she does the exact same thing. I felt bad because she actually kicked them out. after talking to the teens they told me a similar story to mine, but they got removed for not having a parent or guardian.
Honestly I really love this gym but really Profileing? (We’re all hispanics) not jumping to conclusions, theres just no respect whatsoever. Do Better.

I love this gym but only down side is the one leg extension machine which is already in bad condition and the drum stick lady doesn’t really make sense. Like make your money but barely anybody ever goes to it and takes up the whole mirror room for an hour. Really don’t mean to be mean like that

Membership was on hold due to injury, called to cancel it out since I pay month to month. Was told, I have to get charged to a full month and give 30 days notice. Before this wasn’t the case. If I cancel it’s done and no biggie. Woman I spoke to said, “they be changing stuff all the time”. Was never notified when they have my number and email that “policies” have changed. I have zero contract. If I want to cancel and not be billed, then I should be able to cancel and not be freaking billed. Scam!!

So I’m looking to build my self confidence & improve my overall health cause I’m obese & I have a small business. I decided to look through close locations… and I’m not sure if this is worthy of a review but I thought I’d say something anyways. I’m a high introvert & I prefer to text & not call any place if I can help it. Well the problem is, why have a chat button if you don’t use it? As soon as I clicked it “call the gym will not respond online” I get it not all gyms like the online thing but that’s not very nice or friendly. Future side note, take it off.

I really like this gym, I have been to others, but this one has my attention. It very clean and the staff is awesome, I'm still learning how to use a lot of the equipment, if I have a question about how to use anything the people there are helpful to explain how to use it properly. They have great personal trainers that are always willing to answer any questions. Two thumbs way up!

Was confronted by a female trainer while doing my 2-3 sets and she said she is kicking off the machine

Me looking confused and as former Corperate personal trainer know that is totally against policy and very unprofessional

Instead of asking kindly how much I have left or adapting and picking another rotation and coming back like a real trainer would do at any gym

She was rude as hell

I know this gym has better standards that this even threaten by her and front end to cancel membership wow I will be contacting Human Resources about this immediately

I drive 30 minutes, and pass multiple gyms just to come to World Gym in Cleburne. I have never felt more at home at a gym in my entire life. Their staff are all insanely supportive, very willing to answer any questions I have, and constantly build me up. I am training for my first competition and their team have literally been my lifeline on this journey!!!
