I have mostly spoken to Laila she has always been kind, the gym is nice and clean. My only problem is the membership, my daughter went to cancel hers 8 days before it would charge the credit card in May and was told she had to cancel 30 days before. Meaning I would still be charged for the upcoming payment. Well I was still charged the following month of June!

I can't believe they want to charge me $50 to cancel my membership after I've been working out of town for the past 10 months. They've been taking my money without me using their services, and despite my multiple calls, I never get a response. I signed up about 2 year ago and the staff was very welcoming and helpful. Things have changed.

I came back this year to renew my membership after being out of it for a year. The lady at the front who signed me up again was surprising rude.

On 6/8/25 at 2pm the young lady gave me attitude when I asked questions. Responding with, “well things change” accompanied by a rude looked and unprofessional tone. When I would ask questions about certain aspects she would look at me as if I was the problem.

I understand you can be overwhelmed by a lot of people rushing and multiple tasks. However this is unprofessional.

As I write this she checks up on me in a friendly manner to see if I need anything.

It could have been for the moment however if someone who is new and never been here. That interaction is incredibly discouraging. Joining a gym is an intimidating experience for many, and this employee did not put their
best foot forward.

Gym is a scam, 5 floors of fitness is cool for about a week but gets old quick. The elevator is non existent, nautilus machines are pre low tier, they don’t have a fraction of the machines that their “League City” location provides. Sauna is a terrible and cheap personal sauna that fits 2 ppl, says it hits 150 but it doesnt. You’ll be in there for a whole hour before you break a sweat. Place has an odor from the sewage under the building. Best thing about this place is the cleaning crew honestly. Nevin is top tier. Majority of employees have no personality and you can tell hate being there most times.

The space in this place is incredible. Most of the machines are new and working properly. Staff and gym goers keep areas clean and organized. Some may complain about it being warm on the top floors. It's a gym. I go there to sweat and exercise hard. Feeling warm or sweating is definitely not a problem. Keep up the good work World Gym.

I’ve never felt comfortable attending a public gym until my spouse introduced me to World Gym. My prior attempts would all lead to the same conclusion-attending no more than four times during the first month of membership; then continuing to pay for something I didn’t use for years on end. It’s honestly embarrassing lol. I truly cannot begin to emphasize how different this experience is! The facility itself is wonderful; it’s well-kept, the layout offers a greater sense of privacy, and every member I’ve encountered has been nothing short of kind thus far.

As solid as the facility is, it’s honestly the staff that deserves the credit for the experience members receive. They offer an inviting, nonjudgmental, encouraging experience from the moment you inquire about potential membership, which continues throughout your time there. The kids club is beyond amazing as well, I really can’t say enough positive things about the sweet ladies in charge of wrangling my crazy children. It’s been the best motivator for my physical health, seeing as my 3 year old is adamant we attend daily; and all of this is due to nothing more than how awesome they are to the kids. I hope your staff are being well taken care of financially and given benefits, seeing as they are highly deserving!!

10/10, I highly recommend this facility to any and all fitness levels.

They give you the hardest time to cancel a gym membership. Tried 3 times to cancel and filled out 2 cancellation forms and somehow they’ve gotten lost. I tried one more time before I left state and they said they’d give the form to the manager, thinking they’d finally cancel it and Almost a year later after I’ve left the gym to relocate to an other state they’re calling me saying I’m still active and owe a past due balance. Completely unprofessional, unorganized & irresponsible. Take your money somewhere where you know it’s handled responsibly.

My training contract is ending at the end of this month. It has been one of the best investments I've made other than buying real estate. You have one body; invest in it! I will be sad that I will not be training with Ali Z on a regular basis, but he has taught me so much in the 8 months I've trained with him. He's helped me develop training routines and excellent habits to live by in and out of the gym. He has always devoted 100% to my sucess and I have put in the work and discipline needed. I will continue to train here and encourage anyone looking to change their life inside and out to give Ali a try. Don't expect warm fuzzies though, he's old school and is worth every damn penny I paid.

I have been a member for over a year and really like this place. I currently train with Ali Z. and am truly amazed on how he has helped me transform my entire lifestyle. I've never looked and felt this healthy, ever. I put my full trust in his regime and it has paid off. He's tough, but very professional! The man is living proof of his training techniques. He gives invaluable advice and I recommend anyone who is working with him to "let go" and trust in his work. He will not steer you down the wong path.

The worst music you could ever think of is played at this gym. Absolute trash. It’s like some old person who’s into rap from the late 90s to early 2000s won’t get off the aux and swears the music is good. Stop it. The worst part is there is good music in these eras but they don’t play it at all.

Could we pleaaaaase add some back extension machines! and more leg extensions or something like other gyms have at least 4 leg extension machines! Or just more stuff overall like free weights and multiple of the same machine in the empty spaces! Like for example like we do we have only 1 pull up machine i think.PLEASE PLEASE on the back extensions. Was also told signing up when yall opened that it would be 24 hours…can we at least get it til 12pm…i signed up and left my other gym specifically for that reason . Now i had to sign up somewhere else that’s 24 hours .

The sauna we finally got fits like 2 people, has to preheat that’ll take probably an hour so tried it out once and never again….
My dad mainly signed himself up specifically for that.
Yall charge so much more than other gyms that have a lot more…
We are Good customers who paid off the rest of the year and my dad doesn’t ever go n still pays…

I’ve been attending World Gym since August 2023 and was immediately drawn by the welcoming and supportive atmosphere. Not to mention the cleanliness and openness of the facility. To better reach my fitness goals, I decided to take on some extra training and I’ve been training with Ali for a few months now. Ali is an exceptional and experienced trainer. He’s very keen to my fitness goals and he creates instructional and effective routines that strengthen and train my body and muscles properly and safely. As a 73 year old, I have never felt better and will continue to maintain and improve my fitness training alongside World Gym and Ali!

Been going to this gym since November 2023, and I feel like not only am I loving this place more and more, but as well the trainers and people I come across. Personally, after reaching out for professional help from a fitness trainer, Ali the trainer has been a major influence to the way I approach my own personal workouts and when working out with him, I feel like I am being pushed further and further beyond my own capabilities. Especially when I’m so ready to give up and he’s giving me that “You can do two more!” Just as I feel my body giving in🤣

Loved this gym. Been going to the league city gym due to broken machines and poor ac. Some issues from the recent storm others happened say before. (Edit) In between this post and me going to the league city gym someone called the league city gym. Now I have to pay 65$ to keep my membership while I wait on their facility to be fixed? Nah. I canceled. there are some awesome trainers here but this is one of if not the worst experience I have had with a gym.

I don’t think this gym is good for the price.First off membership is about $48 a month so that it’s self is already on the high end. My first complaint is that it is way too hot up on the 3rd and 4th floor They have Split ac units that aren’t even on most if not all the time. It gets incredibly hot specially with the giant windows on both sides of the gym. Window tinting would definitely help with the heat. The sauna hasn’t even been installed yet and they are missing so much equipment that other gyms have. Simple stuff like bosu balls and and pylo boxes won’t be found here. They have about one of each assisted machine so on busy hours just know you’ll be waiting. They have a lot of empty space on the 3rd floor that for some reason they decided to make that into a office space for their personal trainers. Don’t even get me started on the restrooms they’re disgusting and looks like they haven’t been cleaned properly. The floors on the way to the restroom had bloodstains, and dirt for several days. Honestly for the price, lack of operating hours and equipment you would be better off getting a membership at Crunch or the new Eos gym on allen parkway.

This is the worst gym I’ve been to, the layout is awful, they only have 4 benches in their main free weight room, they constantly have the locker rooms closed off at peak hours for cleaning, the air conditioner is another big problem it isn’t large enough to keep up with the heat and amount of windows this building has, the AC is never even on in the secondary free weight room. Lack of equipment, currently their elevator is broken which I don’t mind taking stairs but after leg day in the basement having to walk up to the 4th floor for cardio and back down afterward is not enjoyable. This gym is going to be a constant waiting game once it’s no longer “new” and more people sign up. People wearing socks in the squat rack, putting their feet on the benches, the other day I was there a guy was laying down in the squat rack playing on his phone and would do a set every 20 minutes, saw another guy hanging out in the locker room standing by the sinks eating. Idk what kind of twilight show gym this is but I will be coming back only to cancel my membership.

Ridiculous that there’s no AC on the upper levels or it’s “getting fixed” it’s always way too hot! It’s giving slèèzy car salesman. Why? Because upon signing up they gave this “grand tour” with a bunch of imaginary bells and whistles. Why would you tell your members that there’s gonna be a juice bar (non existent), sauna (not there) body scanner (nope), and a bunch of other BS to lure people to sign up? And if the equipment didn’t arrive for whatever reasons then you should’ve given your members a refund, discount &apology because we signed up based on the dream that was sold. That’s false advertising which is VERY ILLEGAL.
Like another person said, it’s fine for avg fitness and it’s an an area that does need recreational resources.
A good thing about this place is the front desk they’re very nice and the instructors and trainers are nice as well.

Out of all the gyms I've ever joined, this is the best by far! My kids love the daycare, especially my very attached 2-year-old, who u thought would cry the whole time but actually cries when we leave!
I love all the different levels, and mostly, the people who all work here are absolutely awesome. It's like the chick fila of gyms, hahahahaha.
