Our proven approach to Personal Training contains three principles: Mindset, Training, and Nutrition. Each of these principles are designed to help members adopt and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Xtend Fitness has been a constant in my fitness journey for nearly eight years, and I can confidently say it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for my health.
When I completed my first DEXA scan with Xtend back in 2020, I weighed 129 pounds with roughly 83 pounds lean mass. I recently went back for an updated scan, and even though the scale shows a higher number today, my results told a completely different story — I’m now 98 pounds lean mass. That’s a transformation you simply wouldn’t see without the precision of a DEXA scan.
This experience has been such a powerful reminder that true progress isn’t always reflected by weight alone. The combination of consistent training, expert guidance, and access to DEXA technology at Xtend has helped me focus on body composition, strength, and long-term health rather than just the scale.
I’m incredibly grateful for the knowledge, professionalism, and support I’ve received from the Xtend Fitness team. Their approach to fitness is science-backed, personal, and results-driven. This is a fantastic gym and the head trainer, Daniel Lopez, is so knowledgeable and fun to work with. He has developed a program that not only builds muscle but supports functional movement. He's a real coach not a rep counter. I also especially love their DEXA scanner they have! I'm able to get a full body composition test that lets me track positive muscle and body fat changes. Listen, if it's not a DEXA scan, it really isn't accurate. This is the Gold standard. So, when I googled where I could do a DEXA scan and saw the price, this was the place to go. Now I routinely get my DEXA scan to check my progress. It's so worth it!

I recently started doing a group weight training class with Daniel. The workouts are well planned and diverse, and Daniel is always sensitive to needs for alternate positions or exercises, depending on ability and age. I have really enjoyed meeting my two partners from the Western Centre who I did not know previously. The camaraderie of the group workoutis fun and I greatly needed the accountability to get myself to the gym 3 days a week. Overall, this has been a really positive experience and I am feeling great. I can’t say enough good things about Daniel! He’s not only an incredible trainer but also the owner of the company, and he’s currently running everything with just two other employees and no other trainers. Despite all of that, he gives 100% to his clients every single session.

I started personal training with Daniel at Xtend because I needed to lose weight and get my health on track, but I already had enough to think about. I didn't want to have to think about when to come to the gym, how long to be there or what exercises to do. I figured he could help me by taking the thinking part out of it and just let me DO it. I didn't know they had other services like nutrition counseling and mindset counseling (Angel) as well. I've taken advantage of all the services that they have to offer and I realized that coming to Xtend is more than just a workout, more than just losing weight and eating right, more than the physical. It's encouragement, accountability, and comradery. It's a lifestyle that carries you through your work day and makes you a better person for your family. I'm happier, I have more energy, and I'm more confident. Coming here is helping me to start to schedule things in my life I wouldn't normally schedule but doing so has helped me be on time and more reliable. Yoga with Jo has helped me find my inner peace and shown me how flexible I can be. I can honestly say, that Xtend has helped me improve not just my body but my mind and my spirit as well. I can’t recommend this gym enough! Ever since I started training here, I’ve become so much stronger, and my back pain, which used to be a constant issue, is completely gone. I have a problem sticking to routines, but since I have been traing with Daniel, I look forward to my workouts. He is extremely knowledgeable in his field. I’m lucky enough to work at the Weston Centre and have access to this amazing fitness gym. It has all the equipment and free weights I would ever need. Best of all I have access to a great team of trainers from Xtend Fitness who are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I recently started personal training with Daniel and he’s doing a phenomenal job tailoring a program specifically to my needs so that I can reach my goals faster. I joined this training group upon the recommendation of my neighbor. Due to overwhelming evidence showing the benefits of weight training in addition to other exercise I was very interested. In addition, was hoping to improve muscle tone and strength in the treatment of a chronic neck pain. I started training with Jack and within two months notice a significant improvement in neck pain as well as muscle tone which was my goal. The gym itself i Has a nice layout, with lots of Windows and good equipment, I also enjoy the friendly atmosphere. . My trainer Jack keeps me pushing forward during the sessions while at the same time engaging in great conversations. Another fact that sets this program apart is that you do meet with a Nutrition and Mental health coach. Highly recommend.to achieve your health goals.

The entire staff is extremely friendly and engaging. Hired Sarah the nutrition coach for my daughter and she was instrumental in helping her reach her weight gain goals. I hired JoAnn the yoga instructor and it is the best decision I have made in a long time. She is great at meeting you were you are at, and has really helped my flexibility and inner peace. Awesome place! I have never felt so taken care off at any other gym. All the trainers and coaches have listened and paid attention to all my needs and concerns, helping with realistic goals and guidelines. I had never had a conversation with a “Mindset” coach, and let me tell you….one session and he absolutely changed the perception and image I had of myself and haven’t gone back to thinking or talking negatively to myself! I highly recommend Daniel as your personal trainer at Xtend Fitness. I signed up with him in January for strength training and here it is March and I am already seeing an increase in muscle and strength! I absolutely love extend fitness! I think the classes are geared to challenge you in a way that makes you want to exceed and continue to aim for a healthier life style. I really enjoy the diversity of the class and how the trainer (Daniel Lopez) not only encourages you to keep pushing through out the exercises but takes time to educate you on the form you are using during the work outs. I thinks he’s an excellent trainer who cares about each one of his clients’ health goals and his mannerisms both during/after his class are a reflection of that.
