This gym is the best I’ve been going here since 2021, I love the connivence of it, as well the feel of the gym. Great place to come and sweat. Good mix between warehouse and commercial. Friendly managers now compared to the past, and also members are welcoming. Improvements throughout the years, renovations might be needed but at the end of the day, I come to the gym to workout not look at pretty walls. I’ve seen some reviews, that does not describe my experience here at the gym nor the group I lift with. We don’t come to the gym to be catered to, we come to lift and workout

I’ve been a member for six years. Since Steve left, the gym has gone downhill rapidly. The A/C has been out for a long time, the roof is leaking, and they’re constantly out of paper towels. I’m giving it one more month—if things don’t improve, I’m leaving. It’s conveniently close but it seems like nothing is getting better.

This gym is terrible, I don’t recommend a membership here, if you can make the drive go elsewhere. This is coming from someone that makes any gym work because I believe in having equipment and making it work for your fitness goals, your generic hotel gym is better than this. The equipment on this gym not only is it outdated, but most of it doesn’t work and it doesn’t even have the sign up of out of order. The aesthetic of it is terrible. Only one non working stair master. Chipped color on the wall everywhere, multiple colors that don’t even go with each other. This gym has so much potential and it is ran by a manager whom I always see on his phone w his feet up in his desk or working out. I stay in this area so it’s very close to me but as soon as my membership is over , I’m willing to travel a couple of miles more. This place needs to be ran by someone else. Buy a couple of gallons of black paint and color the walls (it’s supposed to be a warehouse gym) get rid of all non working machines. Place machines where they make sense. There’s too much going on with this gym and they have the nerve to charge a lot for memberships. If this gym goes thru either new management or if the management has an awakening and renovates this place I will consider coming back. They also need to enforce putting the weights back instead of enforcing of not slamming them because apparently the manager who goes by DJ is quick to address if machines are being slammed. But he’s okay with very heavy weights being left on equipment/on the floor out of place. With how outdated these machines are, they need to be inspected routinely, and signs or a work order need to be put up when something isn’t working but people are left to figure it out on their own, which could lead into being sued if they didn’t know. I noticed someone in here replied to a different review that sometimes parts of a machine are delayed when coming in and it’s out of the manager’s hands as an excuse why he’s always super lazy on his phone when he isn’t working out but I feel like w how old these machines are it’s to a point where they would be better off on selling it for parts and completely replacing them. But this gym isn’t proactively being taken care of

I really wanted to like this gym. Unfortunately it just wasn’t for me. There’s so much potential in this gym. There’s definitely room for improvement. Some of the equipment is outdated and beat up pretty bad. The cardio equipment is very limited, 3 of the 4 treadmills slip when running on them. Which seems very unsafe. There were only a few sanitation spray bottles that were full when I would go. The air conditioner hasn’t been working and the roof is leaking onto the equipment. There are no water fountains. I was fortunate to get a membership through Active and Fit, and the location was very convenient to where I live. I have decided to change gyms, but would consider coming back if it was upgraded and some of the issues are resolved.

This location and its owners are equally shady. The Gym is in utter disrepair, the locker room looks like horror scenes, with missing or damaged lights, lacking paper products, showers in the dark, and not very clean at all. The AC has been out for as long as I can remember, there are legal notices on the doors, and it is extremely moist and muggy inside. The walls are crumbling and the equipment is antiquated. The cardio machines are all old, and many can't be used becuase they need repair. When it comes to the costs, well they raised my rate 50% without notice, and when I cancelled my membership the owners rushed to charge me for their "yearly maintenance fee" early, instead of in September. Then when I told them that I would not be paying that, they said "it's in your contract." No, I paid the set up fee, which included the original "maintenance fee" and again in September... I'm not letting you charge me whenever you like, whatever you like. Especially since you charge all this without "maintaining" anything. I'll be putting a stop to that charge, and I suggest that you DO NOT spend your money here. There are other gyms in the area that are nicer, and better managed.

Myself and my wife started as members about one month ago, the positive in this is the gym is close to where we live and the negative is all the equipment is dirty and needs to be cleaned, the treadmills have thick dust that needs to be cleaned and the treadmills do not always work. Overall a great gym for me, but wish the equipment would be cleaned and work a little better. The treadmills need to be updated

I don't recommend.
When I first joined years ago it was ok. Had better staff with older man believe name was Steve. After he left no more customer service.
Went through a period where it was seldom clean or paper towels, soap. The employee, Josh?, who also lived there was lazy and rude. He left but nothing really got better.
Recently membership went up. They took several machines many people used just make room for a green turf. They say it's functional training but it's just green turf.
Weight machines are archaic and not much variety.
Cardio equipment is always broke.
The only nice thing is it's open 24/7.
You can find nicer gyms cheaper with better equipment that actually works.
You might have to drive a little further if you live in the area but it's worth the drive to go elsewhere.
I canceled my membership but had to pay extra month because they won't do it without 30 days notice.

They have everything you NEED but a lot of the machines are and have been broken for a while and they charge a fee yearly for "repairs" but nothing gets repaired and it's like $100 something fee. So if they get that from every person they should have enough $ also. There's nobody ever working there. There is NO reception, NO trainers, NObody monitoring. It has a code to get in. Everyone is assigned their own code and that's theor idea of security. It is a 24 hour gym. So I guess if you feel comfortable working out alone then this is the gym for you but if you don't feel safe being around a bunch of people in a business that's not being watched by anyone.

This is the most unprofessional, unsanitary, outdated gym I've ever been to and their business practices are very unsavory. 🤢 The signup process is like a car salesman trying to see how much he can get out of you for down payment. I've asked others how their down payment process was and all have different stories 🤣. It's not safe working out in evening as the main door is always breached and anyone can walk in. 😱 Definitely not safe for women at night... Only two bottles of cleaning solutions across the whole gym so the members are discouraged to wipe off seats. 😷 Poor management that allows people to take off shirts and workout. 😡 Never see any staff during evenings, treadmills are shaky and always breaking, stairmaster always broke, 1985 equipment, and they changed the monthly agreed price without notifying their members in advance 🤦‍♂️. This is an overpriced, poorly managed, train wreck of a gym and you can tell that whoever owns it doesn't care about the patrons at all. 😤 You can drive a few miles in any direction and fine a better gym easily and that's what I did. 👍 You try to support local but this place is not deserving. 👎

I go to this gym because it’s very close to me, but I’ve been trying to cancel my daughter’s membership for over a year and they are still charging me every month for her. I called and left messages and sent emails and I’ve spoken to the manager and no one has taking care of this. I talked to these other person and he said he did it already and I just saw my account and they charge me double the amount …this is ridiculous. The gym is not even clean machines are old and no AC it’s been broken since 3 years ago working on and off…plus It’s mess of a gym. Bathrooms are broken and TVs haven’t been working for the past two years. The only reason I go to this gym is because it’s like five minutes away from my house and it’s convenient but other than that for the price any other Gym will be better than this one. Love that it’s 24 hours bc I have to be to work early so I need a gym that opens before 5 am. At first I wasn’t sure it was safe that early but I’ve never had a problem. There are many option for free weight, plate loaded machines and pre loaded machines. It’s not a gym to come and socialize it’s a gym to come and do work. Yes, it could be cleaner but anytime I’ve reached out with an issues they’ve promptly responded. Same with upgrades - I believe the owners do try their best. They need their clientele to support them in keeping things clean and in good shape as well - Pick up after yourself, flush the toilet, don’t break things, pay your dues, ya know the basics of being an adult gym member.

It was a nice gym for the most part. I was a member for quite a few years and canceled due to some experiences in the gym. I will give one ex: I was not comfortable with men (no matter the identity) using the women's restroom. Also, please note, if you sign up and decide to discontinue your membership, you will be charged a maintenance fee that will not be mentioned. Just an FYI.

I called to get pricing on a membership seeing as though I am new to TX. A woman takes my call very polite. Very nice I LITERALLY only wanted to know how much a membership was she told me no problem. Not 5 mins later I get a call from a man stating he was a with the gym very rude and arrogant boy, starts talking about the gym. I'm confused how he got my number to call me back I told him I was just getting pricing and he is so pushy and goes on and on about pricing and down payments something I stated I did not want. He then told me to keep shopping for a gym and hung up on me. WILL NOT JOIN THIS GYM. Get better employees.

The new owner DJ is very rude to members. She just charged my card a $50 cancelation fee without my authorization.

Do yourself a favor and go to a better gym that treats people right. All the previous reviews about the lies, heat, mess and her being rude are completely true!

Local gym that has everything you’ll need to get an old school workout. 24 hour access. Owner handles all paperwork is usually on sight.

Editing this because of things that happened. When I signed up the owner/manager of the gym, who singed me up, specifically told me that the cancelation policy was to simply walk in and cancel in person with him. I did just that and my membership was canceled. Months later I simply start getting charged again on a "Yesfit subscription". I wasn't aware of it till 2 months in. I asked for a refund and to be stopped from being charged. Zero communication. No reply, but they still try to keep charging my bank. This has become a scam.

24/7 access to the gym. Usually no more than 10 people here at a time. Very affordable pricing plus the owner makes it even more flexible if you have a unique circumstance. 10/10

Only con is that there is only one bench and squat rack so on the off chance that the gym is full, you might have to wait a bit.

There’s also one incline and decline bench, 3 smith machines and plenty of other machines and dumbbells.

When the owner has to give himself a 5 star review, then you know it’s place desperate for clients and cash, otherwise you won’t have so many 1 star reviews. Best reviewed location but still a star below the chain/franchise gyms nearby.

Update: Dear owner this review was posted when this Location was Fast Fitness not Body USA. I'm skeptical changing the name would do anything of this is still connected to Jeremy Gallagher in any way. Considering other reviews it seems like the cancellation policy is the same. if you took the easy route and just changed the name of the business on Google, it's not very convincing since the previous owner has a pattern of doing that. The Fast Fitness page should of been out right deleted with a new page under YES fitness then again that's not my problem to be honest.. That will purge out negative reviews. If I wasn't in contact with Anytime Fitness I would give your company a chance and remove/edit the review based on my in person impression and experience. Looking at the reviews from the woodlands location you have the same people running the company itself.

Payed for a 1 year upfront so that I wouldn’t have problems from all the bad reviews I see. I even told the manager that I was not resigning and asked if there wouldn’t be any fees and told me they wouldn’t ... sure enough 2 months after the year was up I’m getting a 350 charge on my card 😡😡 spoke to the club manager and said he would contact me back to have a resolution and I haven’t heard from him , tried calling many times but no answer !!! Paid cash up front for 6 mos. After three visits, I realized I couldn't go there. It was where my late husband and I used to go to work out. The only reason they got my credit card number was for the $69 annual assessment fee. Last Christmas they hit card again. Heather was rude. They were very comfortable knowing they had covered themselves with very small print on a carbon copy that they give you. My credit card number was changed at the first of the year because of fraud. Now this July I'm getting notices from e-fit. We can't all be wrong. I intend to contact all the local TV stations' consumer advocates.

I told them I signed up and paid for one year and did not want to join again. First they said I had to go to the club. I went to club and gave written notice. Handed to manager. They kept calling saying manager had not notified them. I went back to manager who is next door to my office he said I had to send certified mail even though I am next door. Did that. They are still calling. Out and out harassment.

This gym is spacious and has all the equipment you should need. They also offer one tanning bed free for members which is nice. My only issues are that they claim to be no-contract but say you can cancel your automatic payments by mailing a certified letter of cancellation. Months after your cancellation they continue charging you, even with the cancellation and the fact that you paid the first and last month up front. I've yet to not be charged yet, so I guess the best way to cancel is to consult an attorney. Another issue is that the website gives an email that'll come back undeliverable, and the phone number will say non-working number, but then some creeper texts you an hour later to see what you want...
