nice studio, people seem friendly, but i don’t like the flooring there. the flooring is some sort of laminate or tile(?) but the grout(?or idk what to call it) is significantly lower than the towels so it was distracting during class to feel the uneven floor. also the flooring is very HARD. that’s why i haven’t been back.

Parking varies depending on the time day of day. But beautiful facility, that offers various props such a ropes, mats, blocks, blankets, etc that our tailored for your comfort. While they don’t offer pregnancy yoga sessions, I regularly attended slow flow/gentle flow classes that were gentle enough for an expectant mama. I’d have to say Kerri Silver is simply the best! She is very encouraging to beginners, and provides a judgement free zone. I will only attend her sessions now :)

Now I couldn't come to Texas without doing a yoga flow .
This lovely environment offers many different styles and modes , from vinyasa to wall yoga to reiki. The setting and music definitely got the vibe going. Our yoga instructor Molly Rodriguez was superb in guiding. Her clear instructions added adaptability with intermediate and novice yogis. Her dharma talk about Mercury Retrograde and what benefits can come from it; such as being flexible in mind, intuition, and introspection. Her natural rhythm vinyasa has every tool you need within to keep yourself grounded in this retrograde . It was awesome to start with some pranayama breathing, which led to some unique asana sequences, that blended in unique harmony. I totally recommend you yogis check this studio out. Thanks Yoga Chikitsa for welcoming this NOLA boy to flow. I give it 5 out 5 chatarangas. 🤪
Yall be love.

This studio offers a community and a lifestyle! they regularly offer extra seminars and opportunities to use the sauna. The instructors give off such good vibes and it makes for a really good environment. The pricing structure is also really flexible to suit your needs. The app is really convenient too!

I've attended classes here for a couple of months now and I have no previous experience with yoga. With that being said, I have really enjoyed my experience.
I am currently going twice a week. Tuesdays for "stretch and unwind", and Thursdays for vinyasa.
The facility is clean and is very comfortable. The instructors will usually put a chill playlist of music on for ambiance. Blocks, blankets, bolsters, straps, towels, etc. are all available. If you are in a rush and forget your mat, they have you covered there too. They even dim the lights for Savasna.
All the instructors have been patient with me and they have not left me behind in class. They are not overly critical, nor do they push anything that is uncomfortable. They are receptive to every individual's ability.
The stretch and unwind is very relaxing and I have found it to be an excellent gateway to yoga. Here I am learning the fundamentals and proper technique at a slower pace. After this class I feel loose and relaxed. Thank you Kerry and Shelley! You two are amazing!
The vinyasa is set to a faster pace, with a little less time spent in some of the poses, and the intense focus on the breath. This is easier said than done! After vinyasa I feel a sense of euphoria as if I just did some intense cardio but I'm also relaxed. Vinyasa has been a wonderful experience. I must thank Rebekah as she has been patient and super encouraging!
I am really glad I started my yoga journey at Yoga Chikitsa and I look forward to many more wonderful experiences. Thank you to the whole team!

A wide variety of class offerings, teaching personalities, and students. Some classes are heated, some are not. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. There is plenty of parking and convenient to Richardson residents.

My favorite class here is Weekend Winddown with Trai. She is an amazing instructor who makes you feel like a part of the Yoga Chikitsa family. She always asks what part of the body each of us needs help with this week, and incorporates all of them into this tension relieving class that makes you not want to leave.
Her Wednesday Deep Stretch is more challenging, but totally "jucilicious" just the same with deeper work on hips, shoulders, hamstrings, upper and lower back. I swear I'm taller when I leave.
I have found my Yoga Home and my favorite Yogi!

I miss this yoga place so much! I haven’t been since March, but thoroughly enjoyed the prenatal yoga class and hope to attend a mommy and me class as soon as it’s safe. The instructors are all so kind, accommodating, gentle and thorough. The studio has a nice ambiance and it feels like a relaxing escape from the stress of the outside world. I will definitely be back ASAP!

Yoga Chikitsa is a gem. There is truly something for everyone here. I've never been to a studio that offers such a variety and depth of classes -- vinyasa, Ashtanga, wall, restorative, yin, dharma -- you can and should try them all. There is the added benefit of having a highly-skilled Ayurveda practitioner as the co-owner (Katherine) who offers workshops and seminars regularly. Best of all are the people who teach and practice here. Everyone has a heart of gold and work to foster a beautiful community.
