A sweet, cozy studio with genuinely professional instructors. I’m usually not a fan of big franchise places, which is exactly why I love this one—it feels personal and authentic.

This is a beautiful studio. I love the environment, have really enjoyed classes there and am happy they have added on heated mat pilates! I do have to be picky about the times I go there, though, as the getting in and out of class is often very claustrophobic and stressful - ruining the vibe and experience before or after class. I'm not sure it's avoidable given the space and the class times, but it would be really great if they'd find a better way to transition classes to improve the overall experience. I often opt to go elsewhere simply based on the anxiety I know I'm going to have around the before and after. Other than that - it's a lovely space with solid classes - just expect to feel a bit of chaos. :)

A wonderful yoga studio in the heart of downtown Austin with a welcoming and down-to-earth vibe. The space itself is calming and peaceful with lovely natural light, it always smells good and the instructors are kind and exceptional at what they do. I also appreciate the diverse range of classes: heated, non-heated, yin, slow flow, pilates etc. There is something for everyone at any skill level. I leave every class feeling restored and transformed. Highly recommend 😌♥️!

Stumbling upon hōM in Austin was such a happy surprise! Morgan’s class was a delight, echoing all of the other 5-star reviews. I’ve become very attached to my teachers in SF…but I felt right at home (pun intended) here, immediately. I felt incredible after class. Her hands-on assists were spot on, flow was beautifully curated, language was kind and relaxing, and cuing was impeccable. Will definitely be back when I’m in town for work again!! Thank you Morgan and hŌM for creating such a beautiful space. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

I have had the most incredible experience practicing at hŌM over the last six months. I’m beyond grateful for the impact Carter, Morgan, JJ, and the other instructors have had on both my practice and my life.
Here are just a few qualities that make this studio and its teachers so special:
They are present with students from the moment you walk in.
Each class is thoughtfully designed with clear intention.
Cues for alignment are detailed and precise.
There’s a genuine investment in students’ growth and well-being.
The instructors demonstrate a deep level of mastery in both their personal practice and their teaching.
hŌM also offers a variety of classes and events beyond typical asana practice. The breathwork classes in particular are profoundly impactful (I won’t attempt to explain it—just go experience for yourself).
Personally, six months ago I was navigating massive life transitions and recovering from a near-death experience, I felt like my life was in shambles. The growth and transformation I’ve experienced—physically, emotionally, and spiritually—is in part thanks to being welcomed into the hŌM community. For that, I’m deeply grateful.
I’ll end with something a fellow member told me before I ever took a class at hŌM: “They are the real deal.” I couldn’t have said it better myself. If you want to experience what it means to live your yoga, I encourage you to check it out.
Namaste, y’all.

My yoga hOM away from home in Austin. Coming from NYC I struggled to find a studio that fit my (admittedly very high) standards - quality instruction, a blend of effort and ease, creative flows and the right dose of yogic philosophy and spirituality. Hom has become that place, in no small part due to Morgan. Morgan is the human embodiment of sunshine and her commitment to building a true community is inspiring. This dedication emanates throughout the values and inclusiveness of the entire studio and the people who make up the community. As soon as I took my first class there I knew it was the right fit. My only note as someone who doesn't love heated classes, it can get toasty, esp with Texas heat, but a small price to pay for soul service with Morgan! The studio is gorgeous, incredibly well run and you will always be greeted with a warm welcome. No one leaves here a stranger.
Don't sleep on the community events and programming especially the half day retreats. If you're curious, the new student special is a no brainer, $40 for 2 unlimited weeks to try it all and find the teachers you most resonate with.
Also Sam Pullen is a treasure, her Yin class on Fridays is the juiciest treat.

Excellent location, excellent team, exceptional services. Their new student special is definitely worth it, if you are an Austin resident. It's such a welcoming space. It's also a plus that it feels like a West Village (NYC) building in the heart of Congress. It's clean, the vibes are right, and a safe place to continue your practice. Everyone who attends is welcoming and there to share in the same quality experience.
The team there has really done an awesome job to make it a home for those on the path. Check them out if you are curious!

hOM isn’t just a yoga studio. It’s a community unlike any other. Morgan and Carter have built such a wonderful community of people who not only love yoga but are extremely welcoming and kind. People are constantly introducing themselves or sparking up a conversation because while it’s definitely a workout, it’s also a place people feel at home. The name couldn’t be more perfect. Their deep passion for teaching and love for yoga is prominent in every class. Yoga at hOM is not just about the physical practice (even though it will most definitely kick you in the booty). It’s yoga that satisfies the heart, body, and mind. Once you start taking classes here, other classes cannot compete — and I genuinely mean that. Each teacher has their own flair and they’re all amazing. From meditation and breathwork to a heated power class… I love them all!

I had a very unfortunate experience with this studio and its owners. I will start with positive first. Morgan and Carter were my introduction to hot yoga when they taught at YTX. For that I am always grateful. Things took a very disappointing turn when they opened their studio. I wanted to support them very much and spread the word and posted on Instagram. I even bought an annual membership without even having seen the studio just to support them even though I only spend half of the year in austin. Carter’s personality came out where he rebuked me in a very terse way about bringing my phone to the yoga room. I told him I had low blood sugar and always wear a Glucose monitoring patch and I need to have my phone nearby to alert me and next to my phone I always kept a glucose pill. He wouldn’t have it! I showed him all that but he went on to write to me a long essay on Instagram how I need to put my phone in the cubbies outside and take a lot of sugary drinks before class - like he was a medical doctor and advising me on my treatment! I found that very off-putting because I had never even heard of a business not making any exceptions due to medical reasons and I wonder if that’s even legal. He also had an issue with me bringing tiny cold towel for my face after yoga to use! He said that was distracting to others. By this time I just decide that I needed to let Morgan know. She completely agreed with me and said “that’s Carter” and his manners have created other issues as well but he is her cofounder and she needs to do what he wants. I asked her for refund of the annual membership after having used the studio not even for two full weeks and she returned the money minus one full month.
Prior to any of this I had signed up with Morgan on a yoga retreat and she asked if I still wanted to go with Carter being there. I said yes of course. I loved my yoga practice with her and Carter and I even signed up my daughter to go to Thailand. Well that didn’t have a happy ending either. All through the latter part of 2024 I texted Morgan on Instagram checking in to make sure the yoga retreat was still on and she kept confirming. I bought plane tickets for me and my daughter and last week I checked in with her about it. She said “aren’t you on WhatsApp” with the group? I told her I never was told about the WhatsApp group as I had never received any email info on it. Long story short she had left me and my daughter out of the email - probably an oversight. I asked her about it and she got soooooo incredibly defensive. The next day she sent me this message asking me and my daughter to stay back and not go on the retreat. She further insulted me when I asked her to call to see why by saying she didn’t have time to give me more care than others! To this day when I remember that I just feel so offended. My mind just kept spinning as to what did I do wrong?? Having low blood sugar is a crime and bringing my monitoring device in is wrong? Bringing wet towel to the studio is a crime? Carter has a personally more fit for military and Morgan is just so scrambling to keep up. We are not going on the retreat with them and but I decided to write this deserving review even though I always felt they are young and inexperienced and we should support them. Hopefully they walk away with a lesson from all this.
Response to Morgan-I am very sorry you are so defensive. A few corrections: we NEVER checked together to see if you sent the email. I did. And it wasn’t there! In spam or anywhere else! You forwarded it to me and told me I won’t be able to see my name as it was a bcc! You said you will send a screenshot to prove that I was there as bcc is viewable to you only. You never did. Further insulting me by calling my medical condition a “disturbance” is not furthering your cause. I still cared for you and your cofounder enough to come to yoga retreat and bring my 25 year old daughter and you call that a threat? Some people call that being supportive while furthering yoga as you advocate! Please learn & move on. 🙏

I have been on a number of retreats with Morgan, and they never fall short of amazing. You don’t have to worry about a thing. I show up to a foreign country and know that Morgan has everything planned down to a T. I brought my fiancé along with me the last time and he insists on going on an annual “Morgan trip” now because of how great our experience was! Morgan is also a wonderful human, who is extremely knowledgeable in her practice. I would take her classes daily if I could!

hOM yoga is truly a gem in Austin. I’ve been attending since the day it opened, and it has become so much more than just a studio - it’s a sanctuary. Each teacher brings something unique and transformative to the experience. There’s so much to say about them! Carter’s guidance has elevated my practice to levels I didn’t know were possible. Morgan’s presence and voice create a truly meditative experience. Sacnicte’s playful yet challenging classes are perfect for deepening your inversion skills. Patrick’s grounding energy and luxurious flows are unmatched. And Albina—she’ll make you believe in magic, both on and off the mat. There are so many more, and you can never go wrong.
Beyond the exceptional teachers and class style options, the warm atmosphere and open, welcoming community make hOM yoga truly special. It’s the kind of place where you’re sure to find not only your practice but also friends who feel like family. If you’re looking for a space to grow, connect, and be inspired, hOM should be your new home.

I’ve been practicing yoga for over 20 years, and I can confidently say that Carter and Morgan have created something truly special at hOM yoga studio. This space itself is grounding for me having grown up in Austin being in one of the older downtown Austin buildings on 6th. hOM has transformed not only my practice but also my entire perspective on the healing power of yoga physically and mentally.
The community here is also worth mentioning—an energetic, youthful, kind, connected, brilliant, fun group all on a path toward being the best versions of themselves through yoga. Practicing at hOM has not only strengthened my physical practice but has also deepened my connection to breathwork, alignment, my community and the healing philosophy of yoga.
The teachers are artists when it comes to sequencing and crafting classes that honor both the physical and spiritual aspects of yoga. Their deep connection to the practice is present in every session, creating an experience that is as uplifting as it is challenging.
If you’re looking for a studio that will not only elevate your practice but also connect you to a beautiful Austin community, hOM yoga is it. My practice has never been stronger, and I’m deeply grateful to be part of this amazing space.

Favorite yoga studio in Austin hands down. Morgan and Carter have created such a gem of a space for yoga, meditation, and community. hOM has a very special feel to it. As soon as you walk through the door, you feel like family, and are treated as such. Morgan is continuing to expand class schedules and a variety of practices so everyone can find a class they love, based on feedback from her students. It’s such a beautiful, peaceful, loving environment.

I’ve been coming here since the studio opened and I am OBSESSED. I miss it when I am traveling even just for a few days… I usually go to Morgan, Patrick, and Carrigan’s 7:15am classes. Occasionally I make it to Carter’s 6am. All the teachers are amazing. The community is so fun everybody is so friendly. Can’t recommend this place enough.

This studio has taught me how to go deeper into my practice in a way I didn’t know was possible. Suddenly it’s way more about a devotion to myself than anything else. I’m grateful I get to challenge and show up for myself in such a beautiful space. It is so worth while. I mostly attend a blend of Morgan and Carter’s classes but every teacher is amazing.

Between the incredible teachers, the beautiful space, and the welcoming community, I can’t say enough good things about this studio—it’s truly become my yoga home ❤️ Not all studios in Austin are like this one, and honestly, I’m not sure you’ll find another quite like it! There’s so much I could say, but the best recommendation is to simply come try a class for yourself. You’ll leave feeling deeply fulfilled and truly inspired. Plus, the new student trial membership is a steal for what you’re getting. Go go go! Oh, and namaste 😉

HOM is the best studio I’ve found in Austin! Before moving, I was really concerned about my practice having to leave my home studio, but I really had nothing to worry about. All the instructors at HOM are amazing and have really inspired me to dive deeper into my practice. The studio itself is beautiful, and the experience is even better. They have a wide variety of classes from non-hearted Yin to heated power vinyasa. 10/10 recommend trying it if you’re traveling to Austin or if you’re looking for a yoga home!

By far my favorite yoga studio in Austin. hOM is a beautiful, aesthetic space that feels like you’re in NYC. They have the best roster of teachers (Carrigan, Morgan, etc). Hands-on assists if you want the support. The classes are heated, but not too hot. I love practicing yoga here! It’s perfect!

This studio is so incredibly special. Over the past 5 months since opening weekend, this place has truly become my hOM away from home. Morgan and the entire teaching staff have provided the yoga community and environment I have been looking for over the better part of a decade, and I could not be more grateful to have found it.
Since becoming a member at hOM, my practice has fundamentally changed for the better. The schedule is amazing and there is something for everyone - seriously, every teacher is phenomenal and brings something unique to the table. From meditative flows to some of the more unconventional teaching styles, the variety of classes will make you want to go back multiple times a day to experience all this place has to offer.
10000/10 recommend to anyone looking to grow in their practice, both physically and spiritually ✨

Carter and Morgan and both amazing teachers and amazing human beings! The folks they have supporting them are also awesome. I have not had a class that I didn’t love. Very focused on breadth, proper movement and hands on assist when needed. This is a place to continue learning yoga… not just a workout. I moved here from NY and it took me 7 months to find this studio. I had almost given up on Yoga in Austin. I feel like I’ve found my Home. Pun intended. ;-)

What an amazing experience! These instructors and studio are breathing new life into the downtown yoga scene. Yoga here strikes the perfect balance of creativity and strength, a true moving meditation that will leave you challenged yet grounded. I have followed Morgan for years, always coming back to her style to ground my practice. Now, she and Carter have their own studio and have curated offerings truly rare in our area like 75 and 90 minute classes and breathwork.
