Will update if I get a better experience:

This rating is for the instructor, Linda Kuo. There were 5 things I really didn’t like.
1. I showed up there for my first time, and at the front desk right in front of me this instructor asked, “who is (name)?” And the receptionist explained what she looked like and said “she’s a regular. She comes all the time..”
The instructor laughed it off and walked away. Didn’t acknowledge the fact that a customer was standing right in front of her. That was very unprofessional to me.
2. The system was having issues with getting my information in there, so it took a while and I had to walk in the class a couple minutes late. Not a big deal- the class hadn’t really started yet. But when I walked in, she didn’t acknowledge me or look up or anything. It just didn’t feel welcoming at all,
3. She started meditative breathing in the class, but as she was instructing us to inhale and exhale, she was playing with her phone! I gave her the benefit of the doubt, like maybe she was changing the song, but when I opened my eyes again, she was looking at her phone and laughing. Ugh. Extremely unprofessional in my opinion.
4. I couldn’t understand was she was saying. She has a very thick accent, which is okay, but she moved very fast and corrected no one.
Occasionally, she would walk around the room and sound off the poses, but didn’t help anyone that was struggling. Most of the women there looked like they knew what they were doing, but there were two of us (myself and one other girl) that were clearly confused.
5. This isn’t about the instructor, but more about the set up of the room and the class title.
Because I had to come in late, I took the only open spot which was next to the window. Which I thought was perrrfect! How nice to be able to look out at market street while doing some flow yoga, right?
WRONG. Holy cow that spot got hot!! I was sweating my soul out and got pretty slippery, which didn’t help my novice yoga body.. The class was not called hot or warm yoga, so that is not what I was expecting. The lady behind me moved to the other side of the room, but there was not space for me to move too, so i was stuck. Maybe for the non-hot classes, the studio could invest in some blinds that pull down? There was a reason that most people were on the left side of the room.
When I walked out and talked to the two (very friendly) ladies at the front desk, one mentioned that the 930am time slot in the flow yoga room gets hotter than the hot yoga room does!
I would definitely have appreciated a heads up, so I could’ve had my mind right? Maybe the would’ve helped.
Or switch the rooms or get blinds.

Anyway, I purchased the 30 for 30 so I can try out different instructors and different classes and will update my experience if it changes, but for now it’s definitely a 1 star. I even allowed myself to cool off (literally and figuratively), before writing this review.

I loved how Patricia, the yoga instructor, geared the class for everyone. I was coming in at a much different level than others. She offered me a block and helped me to modify the poses. It was a great experience. I'm definitely coming back for the next class.

I was looking for a new place to do yoga after moving. They had an a new student special, so I decided to give them a try. Once there, I was greeted with smiling faces and the class was excellent. I definitely recommend Yoga One to anyone looking for a quality yoga studio!

It's okay. I'm not a huge yoga person but I've been trying to get into yoga more since I sit a lot most of my day, so I wanted this to help me stretch my body and provide more ying or yang. Although, it's a nice place I think the classes that I've taken there are good, just not great. I wish the instructors helped more especially if they're not doing the yoga move with us. The do help but most just watch and provide instructions. I've just taken better classes at 24hr fitness but the problem with 24 that's similar here is that you have to chose your luck with the instructor. I did the 30 for 30, which I think is great to see if you want to keep doing it as a monthly membership. A lot of people love it, i just didn't find an instructor that helped me to improve mobility or keep helping throughout the class.
Although, I did get a bad taste in my mouth since they charged me $123 for a mat and towel I didn't purchase. They did however return my money after calling for two days. And then I asked them to delete my card information they weren't suppose to keep on file without asking, which they didn't. But that's actually not why I didn't give it 5 stars, but it did lose an additional star because of the altercation. I guess I just expected more from a yoga studio. But I'm going to check out a few more and see if they're worth leaving 24.

I have been attending classes at YogaOne for a little over a month, and I absolutely love it! I tried the 30 days for $30 and ended up signing up for a monthly membership. Great staff and teachers! I would highly recommend.

Just signed up for a membership. Incredible service and I heard people raving about the classes while I was signing up. Will update the review as my experience with the group grows, but am super excited!
