My bank's fraud department had to make them stop billing me after I cancelled my month to month membership through their website during the beginning of covid.
They started billing me again a couple months after I cancelled without warning and without my consent. On 6/20 and 7/21.
I am sad to say that I contacted yoga works but I had to get Wells Fargo involved in a fraud dispute to get my $ back and make them stop billing my credit card.
Watch out with this corporation. The decision makers are not the friendly yoga girls at the front desk.

I attended a “Flow” lead by Kiva with a friend and we had a terrible time. It was structured like a Pilates class and had no progression of movement and poses. If you like body weight boot camps, this the class for you. A lot of one legged squats and wall sits. Not sure why YogaWorks would call this a flow class. If you’re looking to deepen your yoga practice, you’re better off dealing with the crowd at Black Swan for a much more thoughtfully planned class. Silver lining for people who have never attended a hot yoga class: it was warm at most.

We tried the vinyasa course and they nearly explained nothing about how to position your body properly to my boyfriend who was attending his first class. It's ok if you already know yoga but not if you are starting it...

Do yourself a favor - join this studio! Not too crowded and not too stuffy. Flow with Kiva Davis is enough to justify the membership cost - not to mention the great Hot classes with Tamika. The staff are very friendly as are all the other yogis. I don't live nearby anymore but I still make the trip for Kiva!

Shira Atkins - My Experience with Liforme Yoga Mats
Hey guys and gals! My name is yogi Shira Atkins, and I do some kind of strength training or yoga everyday, either at home, in classes, or at the gym. Consequently my old yoga mat was falling apart. Because of this, I was in the market for a new yoga mat and dedicated hours of time to researching before deciding upon which mat I wanted to purchase as a yogi’s mat is a yogi’s best friend!. For my Pilates class, I needed a firm mat with a lot of grip. For my zumba class, I wanted a firm yet comfortable mat that I could spend hours on end performing my yoga skills without becoming overly sore. In the end I decided to pay the extravagant fee of $150 and purchase the liforme yoga mat by liforme. It was advertised as “Liforme Yoga Mat - The World's Best Eco-Friendly, Non Slip Yoga Mat with The Original Unique Alignment Marker System. A Biodegradable Mat Made with Natural Rubber & A Warrior-Like Grip”. At first, I was quite skeptical as a yoga mat is an important purchase which needs to have strong grip, be durable, and lengthy. Again, I train three to four times a week taking classes in hot yoga, Pilates, and zumba and really needed a mat with extra grip and wear. As many of you well know $150 for a mat is a lot in the current market for yoga mats, even for a yoga expert; therefor, I expected to receive a mat which would meet all of my standards for quality and performance. In the end, I found that while there were alot of benefits to my new liforme yoga mat, I also felt it had some aggravating issues which I hope the Liforme company will address in the future.
Pros:
Had great grip on both its top and bottom, even during my hot yoga class, allowing me to perform exercises such as the flying crane without slipping at all!
The lines down the middle and sides helped me to position my body symmetrically while performing exercises, helping me to avoid causing future imbalances with my core and other major muscle groups.
Feels comfortable to stand/sit upon for hours on end, making it practical for use in hard core like Pilates and hot yoga class, while still remaining convenient for more relaxed classes such as zumba.
Was longer than typical yoga mats, incorporating extra length to make life easier for taller yogi’s like myself.
Came with a bag for storing and carrying, which was an unexpected benefit that I was appreciative of.
Cons:
Was not well padded in certain spots, making certain positions more difficult if you have a bad back, hips, or knees, making it less useful for those more advanced in their years.
Was very heavy as far as yoga mats go, once again making it more difficult to use for yogi’s who are more advanced in their years.
Created a lot of noise by squeaking on the ground during sessions which required copious amounts of movement, irritating some of my fellow yogi’s, and my instructors. However if you take classes at home or on carpet this doesn't tend to be an issue, but if you plan on using it somewhere public, keep the noise pollution in mind.
Collects a lot of dust and hair; however, this may just be a pet peeve of mine and can be easily fixed through the use of a lint roller once or twice a week.
In conclusion: So far I am pleased with the Liforme yoga mat and have enjoyed using it for Pilates, zumba, and hot yoga. It has met and exceeded my expectations in regards to its grip, comfort, and durability. However, as I only bought the mat a few weeks ago, I do not know if it will stand the test of time. Therefor, I will update my review, if I encounter any other major issues.

I have done yoga since about 2001 with many teachers and I can say that the teachers at this studio are very talented. The schedule has so many classes it makes it really easy to find a class when you want. Everyone that works there is super nice. I always feel great when I leave the studio.

Today 5/29/2018 after a warm class, shower no hot water and no note posted, no hot water may not offend some people but when you have to return to work a hot shower is needed and not posting a sign is negligent upset client!! For most part I enjoy yoga one,
And enjoy both studios that I practice at.
I am rather upset as Sunday 3;30 community hot class has been taken off the schedule,
I feel if your going to pay for your yoga in advance why can't yoga one e mail there dues paying customers and take a survey. It's not fair ,I'm not going to drive to Heights or Midtown I joined yoga one cz of the two location in S.W. area, an choice. YOGA ONE CAN WE LOOK AT COMMUNITY HOT CLASS 3:30,
Yoga one has many flow class's Can we get back to hot yoga training,
I truly enjoy new young teachers ,sometimes having 4 teachers in training is a assist. I learn from all teachers.
thank you yoga I hope managers read this post.

I took Bikram Yoga for a year so I know hot yoga, The Saturday flow class was supposed to be warm, it was irresponsibly hot! I was unable to complete 1/2 of the poses , my shirt was sopping wet clinging to my body. Another person and I left the class early because of the heat .I was very upset. After the class let out multiple people came out citing how hot the room was. The Yoga One teacher training is supposed to be really good, however i will never take a class at this studio again.
IN RESPONSE TO THE MANAGEMENT:
I was not alone in the room being too hot -1 other person left and after class multiple people complained, I would appreciate a refund, because it was truly an awful experience.

I like that there are so many different classes offered. I can always find a class when I need it! Everyone on staff at YogaOne is so friendly and greets my by name when I come in. I also like the convenience of having a card on file, so I can grab a juice or kombucha after class and not have to pull my wallet out.

Very good teachers who customize the class to the students. For example, if the teacher notices that most people have tight hips, they'll do a bunch of hip opener poses. It's great to take yoga with people who care.

Great place to exercise. I'll start with the great complimentary items:
green juices at the front, maybe even fruit on the weekend.
free water if you take your own container
disinfectant with tea tree for your mat in the classroom
a place to leave your belongings
dove shampoo and conditioner if you wanted to shower
mouthwash, natural soap, and toiletries.
I also loved seeing the schedules online and checking in.
The classes that were not bikram (hot yoga) still had warm rooms so be prepared to sweat and take your own towel.
Pet peeve: classmates not following the lines. It seems some people don't know that the duct tape on the floor serves a purpose. have your mat inside that area because they set it up perfectly so that everyone can see the instructor or the mirror and not block the person behind (common sense).
Pet peeve to instructors: when having us laying down looking at the ceiling please dim the lights, some instructors do so, some don't.
Although it's a good and challenging workout, don't be fooled, nobody here is a real yogi. If you go to Devanand yoga (a non profit location) you will see what yoga really is (MIND and body). I would give it five stars if the classes were not identical. For example, all flow is the same, all hot yoga is the same each and every class. That's great for us to learn the poses, build endurance but after many weeks of the same thing it becomes predictable *yawn.* That's when you can tell you are in an Americanized class versus an authentic yoga class.

This is not 'real' yoga. This is an exercise class - a good work out with super nice instructors. But it is not yoga and I don't get that they get away with calling it that. I have been to a number of classes at the Uptown location. In all the classes people came in talking to their friends and continued to talk loudly while it was supposed to be quiet and reflective. In fact, a couple times people brought cell phones into the room which went off!!! The poses are rushed and poorly explained. The classes are just NOISY and not meditative and relaxing at all. Like I say - a great work out and an alternative to going to be a big city gym. But it really is not yoga - not what it represents or what it is about. If you want to sweat, compare fancy designer pants and tops (like a Lululemon pop up store) and have no interest in quiet contemplation or purity of flow, then this is the place for you. Someone needs to introduce these people to mindfulness. They can fool themselves they are yogis but, really, you aren't. At all.

This is a really well - organized studio, with many options of hot yoga class, flow, ashtanga yoga. The classes start early in the morning from 07 and goes until 08 in the night, and the studio opens on Saturdays and Sundays. I really enjoyed classes of Wyndham for ashtanga, Star for a very meditative -kundlaini class and Kiva for flow. Hot yoga is awesome with any instructor. Oh,and something else, the studio offers also the juice shop with fresh made juices, so you can cool down after the practice.

I have been attending YogaOne Studios for a few years now. Since then, they have opened three new locations in the Houston area. I love the flexibility of the yoga classes. They offer a variety of yoga classes from hot yoga, flow to forrest yoga and more. The instructors are well trained and friendly. I feel right at home in any of the studios. I usually practice yoga at their Bellaire and Midtown locations. I would highly recommend YogaOne Studios to anyone interested in learning yoga or to all the advance yogis. Namaste.

My unpleasant experience
I decided to visit YogaOne Studio in Uptown, I had a long and stressful week and a friend of mine recommended me to go to the Midtown Studio. Due to scheduling conflict I went to the Uptown studio. I am not a very expansive personality and in a new situation I tend to be a little awkward. It must have been awkwardness that cause the front desk person (later on I will find out he will be the instructor for the class) to be a bit abrasive. After I filled the paperwork, I have been told that I have to have a mat, a towel and a bottle of water. Even though I read the FAQ part on the website I did not know about this requirements, anyway since this it was the first time he will lend me a towel and a mat. In the same time I was informed that I am not to leave the class even if I feel sick, “just lay on your mat until the end of the class”. The class began and to my surprise two people stood up and leave, I thought ok maybe certain people can leave. Toward the end of the class I felt dehydrated but I did not want to leave since I was warned at the beginning that I cannot. At one point I heard “at your pace try to come back to reality…” and since I was not feeling well, I thought this is the end and I stood up and started to fold my mat. At this point the instructor came to me and whispered in an angry voice “unless this is an emergency you better lay back your mat and stay until the end”. I did not want to create a scene so I laid back my mat and sat down, two minutes later the class was over as well as my relaxing mood. I would suggest to this company to spell out every rule and all requirements they have on their website under FAQ so people can be prepare before they go there.
I cannot speak about other instructors or locations but this was my experience.
