YouFit is closing this location. As as a loyal customer if you wish to term your agreement, in the year 2020, what do you need to do? You need to write a letter and snail mail it to FLORIDA to cancel a membership to a location that they are closing. There is a "Cancel/Freeze Policy" link on their website that takes you to a "File Directory not Found" page. hmmmm. Before gyms were officially closed, I considered cancelling my membership but decided I would support them through this time. I'm not at all concerned about the closing of the location, although it is disappointing, I am rather extremely frustrated at them for not allowing me to cancel my membership electronically. Before I joined i read several comments about how difficult it was for people to cancel and get them to stop automatic charges. Now I see why. Awful customer service in an electronic age.

Unreliable gym. I’m going to the gym in the mornings at 5:30am and today wasn’t the first time that it was just closed.
Really frustrating if you get up at 5am, walk there and the temps are in the 30’s.

Not sure what’s going on at this location, new management? It keeps going down hill. Multiple occasions no one shows up to open the gym. I have certain times I can go to the gym do to a busy schedule, i should be assured it will be open during business hours. Other locations have a number to call when this kind of thing happens. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a corporation. I recently canceled my membership after my last payment, then continued to get charged 2 more times in a weeks time. I called up to the location multiple times and each employee told me they don’t understand or know of anything they can do. I went in and a young gentleman (THE ONLY HELPFUL PERSON) helped me fill out a refund form because I had been overcharged. He put it on the managers desk and told me they would call within a week. I never got called so I called, and an employee told me it was still in processing and they would call me by a week. After a week and a half I called back wondering about an update, asked for a manager, he looked into everything and said he doesn’t know and there isn’t anything he can do. He continued to argue with me, talking more to other employees than to me, and was of no help. THE MANAGER. Awful managing. When I expressed that I had not been helped and there wasn’t any sense of care or urgency he responded “well I don’t know how to respond to that”. Not how you handle situations.

Beautiful, clean gym with everything you could ask for in a fitness center at a price you can't beat! Some improvements could be a sauna, and possibly a small supplement shop for things you might have forgotten (preworkout, shakes, towels, etc) or want to grab on the go.

Staff is friendly, definitely not hardcore fitness types, but trainers are there during the day and can steer you down the right path or show you how to use everything. Gym is always spotlessly clean, impeccably maintained and has everything you would need for a full body workout. Parking lot is well-lit, safe and regularly patrolled by Dallas PD.

This place is not really for the bodybuilder or expert fitness model types. More for the housewives, businessmen, college co-eds, young professionals and etc. Entry level types that go a couple times a week and never go to extremes, but want to tone up, stay in shape and do some cardio in a calm and relaxed environment. At this price point, it is THE best gym by far in North Dallas, and this location is the best in the DFW area. Highly recommended.

I went to 24 hour fitness a few months ago, 2-3 times and its always crowded, the locker rooms were wet/dirty and the machines are old. when you enter the gym there is a lot of things they try to sell you,it is overwhelming. I went right back to you fit - its always clean, workers are nice, machines are well take care of, the color of the gym makes it more relaxing, they don't have a lot of stuff to sell you in the front --locker rooms most of the time are clean and the people that works out there tends to respect other people. I highly recommend Youfit.

It's a nice gym, it's got plenty of equipment, it's clean, and, of course, best of all, it's cheap. The desk people are friendly and helpful. I rarely have to wait for a piece of equipment, even at rush hour, there are sufficient pieces for the clientele. Even if I have to wait for one, there is plenty of other equipment to use til it opens up. There is a good variety of workout machines, plenty of free weights and benches, and lots of cardio equipment. None of it is spaced too closely together, there is no crowding while you're working out.

There are group exercise classes which you can take if you're a lime card member. I'm not, I have the basic membership, so I don't get classes, and my membership only applies to my one club, Dallas Parkway, it's not multi-club. But I don't need those features, so it's nice to have access to a membership option that doesn't make me pay for that.

The only negative is there are only two or three shower stalls, so if you have to shower, you may have to wait. Also it doesn't have any of the extras that fancy gyms have, like pools, whirlpools, saunas, sports courts, but you don't have to pay for those things, either.

The best feature is the location, it's on my way to work / home, so it's very convenient for me, which is the main reason to choose a gym, if it's within a ten minute drive from your home or your work. I've had the membership for a while, through two hip replacements during which I didn't use it very much, but it was cheap enough that I didn't worry about how much I wasn't using my gym membership. It's nice to not have that pressure to use your expensive gym membership. I did cancel my membership once, when I joined my health insurance fitness plan, and it was very simple to cancel, there was no cancellation fee or contract conditions that made me pay any more money than just letting the month roll by til the cancellation date. I really appreciated that, sometimes it's so difficult to cancel a gym membership. Not with YouFit.

I used to be a group exercise instructor, so I have worked at various gyms in the Dallas area, and have also had a health insurance fitness program that allowed me to go to a wide variety of fitness clubs, and I like YouFit as much as any gym I've been to. Sure, it's nice to have a fancy club with hot tubs and smoothie bars, but for just going in and getting in a workout, YouFit is as good as any.

Update, corporate came to save the day!!

Just tried to call Youfit to try and get in touch with their corporate. She told me they do not have contact with corporate. I said oh wow, that can't be true because you are corporately owned. The lady told me to go on their website to email their corporate. I went on their website and noticed I have to email a specific gym. I then proceeded to call her back and she basically told me oh you have to email us and then we will email corporate. OH THE TRUTH COMES OUT, she has the email of corporate but just wants to lie about not having it.

The facility is brand new and the so is the equipment. I was promised access to the spin bikes by the manager Taylor. Unfortunately, when it was time to use the bikes I was told I was not allow to use the machines without supervision. I have memberships to 24 hours and LA fitness and have never had an issue using the equipment without an instructor present. Despite signing a contract that states are patron use the equipment at their own risk and YOUFIT takes no responsibility if injury occures. Taylor was not truthful when he promised to full access of the facilities. I have tried to call corporate with out any response. I have left message for the general manager too without any response. The trainers are good. The membership is $10 a month so I assume you get what you pay for which is a great facility but poor customer care.

This is a good gym. The price is good, at a monthly rate of $20 and you can bring a guest for free every time (though they have an odd annual fee on top of this- not a lot, I think it is $40). I haven’t tried any of the classes, but you get a free assessment with a coach and the staff is all friendly. I’ve been a member for about two years, and never had a problem getting to use the equipment I want when I visit.

Terrible gym. For a multitude of reasonings. For one, i canceled my membership IN PERSON and still received multiple charges after. Those of which btw aren’t discussed at the initial sign up time. Manager proceeded to belittle me, question my literacy, and offered no help. I, myself, as the manager of a restaurant understand the value of great customer service and hospitality and this gym and its staff(not all, employee with the red hair was very kind) do not convey any concern for their guests happiness and over all satisfaction. I would NOT recommend this gym. I signed up for personal training when I first got the membership, after 3 months I decided to cancel, I canceled ON TIME per the manager Courtney the first time yet I was still charged because she said I didn’t cancel in enough time. Ok fine I let that one go, but she did inform me that it should be canceled now and I wouldn’t get another draft from my bank account. The next month comes around and it came out of my account again!!! I went up there and told the manager this and she informed me that the paper work to cancel it must not have been sent to corporate or headquarters, I demanded a refund which I got 2.5 weeks later!!!!! She said ok it should not come out again. This is now the 3rd time I have had a draft from my account for the $304 personal training!!! This is beyond ridiculous, I have been pretty civilized with youfit up until this point. I will not be canceling my membership as well and getting my refund!!!! DONT BECOME A MEMBER, they lie to you and are not helpful!!!

I had no problems with this gym for 2 years until I decided to cancel my personal training sessions. I have been patient; however, when you're taking money out of my account after I have signed forms and NOT agreed to having $100 taken out of my account after the fact. Avoiding me is not a solution, it is only a poor sign of customer service and failure in trying to get the issue resolved.
