I have been trying to cancel my membership for months now, finally they told me I could drive to the closest location open to do so.. after the gym has been drafting the fee for the 5 months they been closed I still have to pay a fee to cancel... like seriously????!! I have to drive to cancel.. this is a rip-off. Hope they stay close the worst service..
Still no resolution.. nor by contacting them on social media 800 number is a joke!! They are a joke!!! They just don’t care

The gym was fine when it was open, but it has been shutdown since March and it appears they have no intention of actually reopening this location. There are "for lease" signs on the building and a note on the door stating that the building manager changed the locks. Meanwhile Youfit continues to charge me every month as if they were open. You can't cancel online, in person (obviously) or over the phone. They respond to these reviews telling you to call in, but then no one actually answers the phone. Horrible service and communication.

This location has been closed for MONTHS yet they are still charging my card every month. You cannot call to cancel them since the line is disconnected and emailing them does nothing either. Never do business with this company. They tell you to call the 888-Youfit-1 phone number but all this does is route you to your local Youfit.... which is closed and nobody is there! I will be calling my bank and reporting this as fraud charges.

Like others have stated, I have been charged every month since they’ve been closed and have no way of cancelling. Their website says to call or email them to get a full refund but I have called multiple times and sent three emails and have yet to hear back. Super shady and unprofessional. I’d be worried about people getting lawyers involved if I was them.

It's not the biggest gym out there like LA Fitness but it's a good sized gym with up to date equipment. I've been a member of this gym twice; when it first opened and later again last year when I decided to get back into fitness.

The staff is very friendly, respectful, and helpful with any questions or problems you may have. While it isn't open back yet, they have always kept it clean and sanitized before Covid-19 happened. That's one thing I really love about YouFitβ€”they keep everything well maintained.

They have different type of machines depending on what you want to work out. Upstairs they have a track if you want to run or take a break and walk. As well as a CrossFit workout section if you prefer to do that. They have different workout classes throughout the month which are fun and I highly recommend! πŸ‘Œ

If you're getting started or just looking for a new gym I say give it a try and ask for a tour. I personally can't wait for it to open back up and I can go back to doing more in depth workouts.

The communication with YouFit is poorly and not professional at all! When I called them in April to cancel my membership they said I couldn't do that, that it had to be in person. How? If the gym was close due to the pandemic. Then I asked for a reimbursement for that same month and they said they couldn't do that because that's how they were paying their employees!!! I did not know the members were responsible for their pay during a crisis. I shook it off and thought they will open soon but no email response since April and now the phone line is disconnected? Oh and I'm still being charged for training for something that is not even benefiting me at all! YouFit doesn't care for their members!

I am so fed up with this location and the lack of communication to their members regarding the shutdown and/or a possible re-opening. Meanwhile the monthly payment drafts have not stopped. I’ve sent emails requesting information, requesting a refund for the months the gym has been closed and also requesting a freeze on my account until the gym reopens and have yet to get any sort of communication. Not to mention that their listed number is now a non working number. Calling the 1-888-YouFit-1 number does no good as it just redirects your call to your local gym. This is totally UNACCEPTABLE from any business. I just hope that writing a letter to corporate to cancel my membership does the trick. Would def give it 0 stars if that was an option.

I went in yesterday to cancel my membership. A man (the fitness director) greeted me and started the process. Of course, they always try to change your mind but I was sure I didn't need it and havent used it for awhile. He got a woman from the back to finish up because he was frustrated he couldn't talk me into it. As the woman was helping me he stayed at the desk commenting in the background about me not keeping the membership. He stated, "If it was a cheesecake you would say yes,". There was another employee, a Male, who second his motion and said "Sure would,". So is this how you operate? Have you ever heard of being kind? Your sales pitch shouldn't turn into a shame pitch. Besides that, you don't know my life! The original man tried to offer me $100 on my account twice, and I told him I didn't want it because I would never be coming back. He then asked a customer, "Are you signing up with us? That's awesome!".
Dont worry, I will be placing a formal complaint. Also, in the future, if I do get another gym membership it will be at the Fitness Connection across the street.

The location is nice however I was supposed to be refunded over $100 back to my credit card due to not doing the training I had paid for and it's been over 1 year and I never a store credit or my money back as promise. I love group fitness! Youfit has a nice variety of group fitness classes with energetic, creative instructors. My favorite class is Zumba with Mweni. It's the perfect jumpstart to the week! Stay FAR away from this place! I have been fighting for 2 YEARS to get a refund from these guys for wrongful charges for services that I had cancelled. Every time I think I am getting somewhere with management, they don't contact me for weeks and when I finally get in contact with someone I am informed that the manager I was working with "Is no longer working here" and I have to start the process ALL OVER AGAIN. The first manager I worked with on the issue told me I wouldn't get a refund because "We are all human and even companies can make mistakes."

Long story short, management does not care about their customers or the fact they steal your money for cancelled services and do nothing about it.

Make the right choice. Go to Planet Fitness. Same price monthly and they have stellar customer service.

If I could give a half star I would. I was so excited to sign up with you for and purchase 5 sessions with a personal trainer and it was great when I had the consultation with the trainer, she then scheduled out first session and it was great. She then told me she would call me to schedule the next session. Well, that was over two weeks ago and I haven’t heard anything from her. I texted and called but nothing. I then called youfit gym and I spoke to supervisor. She apologized and said she would look into it. That was a week ago, surprise surprise no call back. I called again yesterday and at this point I just want a refund for services not rendered, but employee who answered my call said there was no refunds. He of course apologized and said he β€œunderstood β€œ my frustration but adamantly told me there was nothing he could do. He then said he would talk to supervisor and someone would call me back.
I’m so disappointed with the service at this gym. This is not what I expected from s professional health fitness center. I want my money back. I’m done! I haven’t been able to train because the whole point was to pay for a trainer to help me work with the machines in order to weight train. This is the worst customer service experience.

This you fit is ONE OF THE BEST gyms I've been too period.

Gordon and his team are amazing representatives of the youfit brand. They're more than Accommodating and welcomed me with huge smiles. Its a great feeling when walking into any establishment.

The layout is super ergonomic and flows perfectly. A lot of space between machines and free weights.

That bathrooms and floor are very clean and well kept.

There is also an upstairs athletic performance area with an indoor track that circles the entire building .

Everything you need from the average, begginer or fitness enthusiast.

My wife and I joined YouFit in October 2017. We were initially excited to join what appeared to be a gym with a nice environment, but as soon as the thoughts permiated my mind they soon dissolved just as fast. The β€œsales” person was high pressure when it came to selecting a plan and did NOT disclose pertinent information concerning annual fees and cancellation fees. I stayed with the gym for 15 months, but I recently realized there are better options. When I went into cancel my membership the male front desk attendant kept questioning my decision and belittled me for leaving their club. THAT IS one of the MAIN reasons we left. The staff tries to make the gym seem like it’s so inclusive, but if you attempt to cancel your membership you can EXPECT to receive a barrage of questions to make you feel terrible about your decision. I LOVED this gym!! I recommend people here all the time. Unfortunately I became ill and couldn't go anymore, but I decided not to stop my membership with Hope of returning. After a few failed attempts, sadly I was unable to continue my membership so I signed the paper work to cancel my membership. After month after month of talking to "MANAGEMENT" it was finally canceled. I was given a refund for the over charged fees and assured I would not be billed again. Well here we are almost a year after I began my cancellation process and I am STILL WAITING FOR MY $300.00 REDUND for unauthorized fees. When I ask for a corporate # or info I'm told there isn't one, like really how is this possible. Well needless to say this great starting relationship ended VERY BADLY and has left me weary of ever joining a gym again!

I am very upset about my whole experience at youfit. It started off at a good note with my personal training, but then after a few classes, the trainers keep on changing with very few choices for the classes. they already charged my credit card for a 3 month personal training lesson, which is fine by me, but were not able to give me any trainer to finish the last 8 lessons. So still they owe me those 8 lessons. I have called them a few times(i do not like to bother people a lot) and also went there and talked to the general manager, but nothing has been done so far . false promises and very poor scheduling. First and foremost I love my trainer JT! He motivates me, holds me accountable and makes me feel strong. He's really helped with my weight loss and I can see and feel myself getting stronger. All the other employees are also very friendly and welcoming. They're always helpful and if they can't answer my question or fix my issue they find the person who can. I also think the facilities are great - clean, bright, good music, good temperature, etc. There is plenty of equipment and a huge variety of options for working out. I am VERY happy with my YouFit.

Initial management were more customer oriented than the present management.

My friend had to suddenly move out to a different place. When he did they don't allow others to cancel his subscription. I told them that I can bring him on call on the same number that is registered with youfit but they simply don't agree. Customers should have ease to cancel instead they ask for a written letter. The initial management were more friendly and they allowed us to cancel by calling the registered person.

The manager says our policy has changed. I asked her the policies should be more customer oriented and she says we can't control phone numbers and all and there might be a chance for fraud..when you allow a person inside using their mobile number why can't this be done ?

I go to that gym only because of the proximity to my house, but from the entrance to the reception there are only two friendly guys: the Hispanic boy of tattoos and the girl who is very early in the morning. The others, from the managers to the other girls in reception are very arrogant! Of course, in that gym they can not have a solid staff because they change people like a person, changing socks daily. I do not want to think that if you pay a little less than other gyms then the staff is not very involved with the client? Because in planet fitness you pay the same and the staff wow excellent service. Another important thing is the maintenance of the machines! I always find a loose nut, a screw that will come out, abs mattresses stink. I know many people who have stopped going for these things. I think I'll give you a month more I know they're not going to fix the staff because apparently people are easily bored to work there, but at least if they teach their staff to be friendly always.

Update. Kids club no longer open on sundays and they are tediously strict about silly things in the kids club. My kids arent to happy about going anymore due to change in staff. Still no wifi.

Love the kids club. Only one I know that's open 7 days a week. And great ladies working there. Upstairs track is great. Locker rooms are very clean. Only downside... No Wi-Fi.

The rest of my refund I haven't gotten yet, because apparently, their trainer(who now do not work for them anymore) took my 1st session payment even tho she was informed that the whole training was cancelled way ahead of time. When I asked them why the trainer took the payment right away, the answer I get is "we don't know since she doesn't work for us anymore, we have no way of knowing." So now, I have to wait yet for another "3 weeks" hoping I get the rest of my refund!! WAY SHADY!!!

If I could, I would give 0 stars. The gym equipment is nice but the staff is horrendous. The ambiance is so negative and depressing. Also, if you try to cancel or downgrade you will be given the run around. You can set up an appointment to speak to the β€œmanager” Benny to cancel and he will literally write it on a piece of paper and never get to actually doing it. That’s just a lazy and untrustworthy human in my opinion. I requested to have my personal training downgraded in February and still in late April I am getting charged the higher price. I have called twice to try and get refunded and both times I was told that a message will be left with the β€œmanager” and they will call me back but that was weeks ago and still no call. This location is highly unprofessional and degrading. I wouldn’t reccomend it to my worst enemy. You are better off going to Planet Fitness. I will be contacting corporate to hopefully get my situation resolved. Updates to come.

The best gym ever!!!! Lol :) Don't listen to the negative people and you can bring a gym bag just a small one like a fanny pack I carry it around everywhere I go in the gym. But if you don't want to sport a fanny pack then just bring a lock and store your bag there...i mean what need have you to carry a bag? Work out get healthy lol

Very uncomfortable that they have random girls in the child care on a daily basis most of the time. I hope I don’t have as many problems as I have read on these reviews when I cancel my membership. The facilities are good enough but if you ever decide to cancel they WILL keep your bank information and they WILL keep taking your money for no good reason. I’ve called multiple times about getting refunds for the 3 months they took money from me and the annual fee that I was told wouldn’t be taken from me if I cancelled 40 days before a specific day, which I did. It’s been 3 months and I have seen NOTHING given back to me so if you’re wanting to invest in a gym that is reliable don’t make it this one. Also my sister got her car broken into in their lot which the staff said was apparently a β€œregular occurrence.” Don’t waste your time or money on this place.

Gym was good, not too crowded and clean. My problem was when I needed to cancel my membership. I informed them, in person, that I needed to cancel. I continued to get charged for several months. I called multiple times with an attempt to speak to the Manager and was always told he was busy and would call back. I finally contacted "corporate" and later received a call from this " too busy" manager. Waiting to see if they will actually come through with a refund and cancel my monthly charges. So this has been my experience with YouFit....

I went in to check it out because my roommate had just signed up and seemed really excited. Gordon (manager) walked me around, gave me the tour, answered all of my questions. It was great. I signed up for the mid level membership (around $19). I also signed up for their special on four trainer sessions for $120.

The next day, August 3rd, I come in and speak with Hollie (manager) for my assessment. He does his spiel, explains how it all works with the trainer. And I sign up for the once a month sessions for 3 months. It's $160 a month, but he charges me only $40 that day, and the remaining $120 is supposed to come out on the 17th. As we're getting ready to leave Michaela is passing by on her way out and he had us meet, as she'll be my trainer. He then ropes her into finishing my set up and helping out my roommate who's in for assessment and measurements that night, before rushing out the door himself. But he doesn't explain that she's coming in that night. And no one explains to my waiting roommate that the guy she was waiting for was no longer with the company. I saw her at the desk so waved her in. We all talked with Michaela for a bit and figured out what times we each would be coming in.

That Monday I get a call from Hollie explaining there was an error on my contract, I tell him I'll be in that night for my session. Told him the time. He said he'd be there but had already left for the day. Next session I finally get a hold of him. He is leaving again so Gordon ends up helping me. We had to wait a bit for BK (district manager) to be available and help with the changes. Turns out my contract was set up to charge me $120/session instead of just on the 17th then going on to the regular amount $160. I explain what had happened. Was told by the end of it I wouldn't be overcharged that $40. Sign. Good to go.

Just to be safe I kept an eye on it. Sure enough on 8/18 (friday) I get charged $160, so overcharged by $40. I immediately call and talk to Hollie, he keeps pushing me to just have them credit it to me instead of refunding me. With me having a big move coming up and all sorts of wedding stuff (maid of honor) I would much rather have the refund. He says he'll take care of it.

Over the weekend I hear nothing back, so I decide to talk to Gordon after my session, 8/21 - Monday. I tell him what's going on, he's apparently the only one that can do refunds. He hasn't heard anything about it. We talk about it, he looks through everything. Swipes my card and tells me that it will be 7-10 days before it goes through, but if I had done it the day it was charged it would have gone through the same day.

9/7, a Thursday, after my session I talk to BK. Still haven't had my refund. We go back and forth about it and he tries to debate with me about if I'm owed the money or not. I show him my bank account and everything. He then looks back through the notes on my account and sees that a refund was initiated. And that on 8/23, 2 days after I spoke with Gordon, the refund was canceled with a note saying they would handle it in house. Not a single email, call, text, nothing about how this was supposed to be handled in house. Not a single person told me I would not be receiving that refund. I had even called up there at least twice trying to greet a hold of someone who could help and was put on hold while I was trying to ask a question.

BK said he had a phone call with Gordon the next day at 11am, that he would ask him about the refund and call me that day to let me know what's going on.

Not only, a week later, have I not received a call, I haven't even been able to get a hold of someone. I've even contacted corporate over a week ago, and no response.

I'm done. I absolutely love Michaela. I think she's a fantastic trainer, she's funny and has a great attitude. She's a great cheerleader and motivator without being overly perky. But I can't justify giving any more money to a company who talks big to your face, but does absolutely nothing to help you when they mess up.

I started with a great experience. However like some folks life happens and i stopped going i was going to go back but i got a email said to call and i did. I told the rep i may need to cancel she said you owe pay $50 and we will cancel. πŸ˜’ i advised her she can do what she wants but i will advise all the members i refered to cancel and recommend new folks try another gym. If you have a life and may not attend for a bit or may need to cancel cause they don't suspend find another gym. I know i will i may pay more but you get what you pay for.

I have been going to this gym for a year, and it was always a decent experience with the staff. Unfortunately, the staff are only nice when it is beneficial to them, and their pockets. I decided to try another gym TEMPORARILY, for amenities that YOUFIT does not offer at the present time, which I need TEMPORARILY. I go into the facility to cancel, and there were three employees that were all smiles, and bs until I relayed the information that I needed to cancel. Familiarity went out the window, and we instantly became "enemies" of Youfit. One girl, who may have been the "manager" saying "ew", and another telling us to wait because the other girl was "checking in another customer". Clearly we could see she was busy. All of the attitude, and the nasty remarks about the other gym we were going to were extremely unnecessary. I WAS going to go back to YouFit because I actually like the facility, but I will take, and keep my money elsewhere. I will tell everyone I know who has a Youfit membership to cancel (7 and counting so far), and pay the bs $10 cancellation fee and join another gym. Every time I hear the word Youfit, I will say "ew" do not waste your time or money. You get a discount on price compared to other gyms, but that also comes with a huge discount on service. You get one star because I had to give a star in order to post. A big fat zero is what you deserve.

Warning. We are having a very difficult time getting this gym to halt charging our cc for training that we no longer want. The training service was canceled in March and we are still getting charged (5 months later). We have reported the latest charge as fraudulent and hope this finally puts a stop to what is increasingly looking like cc fraud.

This place is horrible and here's why - I joined this gym on 9/15/15 and from day one they were fast to enforce their rules, which are no biggies at other gyms Like 24HR fitness and LA Fitness, I've been a member of both. They do not allow you to have a gym bag with you and you must keep them in the locker rooms, something about a safety hazard in case of an emergency and people need to get out quick, They also have some other rule which is not noted in there club policy about bringing in outside gym equipment, in my case a freaking jump rope! I was told today to not bring it and to not jump rope their anymore, they actually recommended I jump outside of the building, They conveniently decided to tell me this 6 months after of being a member in which the staff all knew jumping rope was part of my workout. I don't know about you but that seems very unprofessional and if a gym is going to enforce rules that are not written in the club policy (which neither jumping rope or bringing in outside equipment is) then I would recommended no-one join this horrible establishment. If you are a cross-fitter, boxer or anyone who else likes to jump rope stay far away from this place, they are unprofessional. Stay at your gym you will not like this place.
