Meh. I came for a visit with a friend who has a membership here but it sometimes seems packed and it feels somewhat clustered because of the spacing? I'm considering it, but they don't close at 12:00 AM everyday, or weekdays at least...(Later on) And they're pushy when you get past 12:00 AM. I was there at 12:04 AM knowing it was already closed almost completing my workout and I get the CSR pointing toward his watch...Calm down, I know...lol! 😂 But overall the staff is helpful. I'll upvote it if they open it more and at finally get an ACCURATE scale and more premium scale in at LEAST a gym of all places...

Al reclamar tu derechos, el se hace el ofendido cuando solicitas una acalaracion de tus membresia y te dice que no se puede hacer nada. Cuando llamas al corporativo para aclarar sobre la membresia . Ellos te hacen saber que el problema es que te hicieron cuentas separadas en vez de una cuenta familiar y que el error lo hicieron al hacer tu membresia. I really like this place. Some people giving "1 star" because of the cancellation fee obviously haven't been to many gyms. LA fitness, 24 hour, and fitness 19 all require you to come in person to cancel and charge you a bigger fee than $10. Keep doing you, YOUFIT.

Came last Saturday with niece who was 13. She didn't have her ID. The front lady wouldn't let her sit next to me to workout. I asked it she could make any exemptions or any other recommendations. She said, no. They have a bench in the front. I asked it she could sit there while I worked out. The lady said no. There was less than 10 people working out. I felt hopeless. As I was leaving there was a lady walking in with her child to the restrooms. The lady didnt ask her for ID. I asked for a manager but she was the only one working. Manager is never in. I've been in 3xs to talk to him. I come today and there is a teenager sitting on the bench in regular clothes. I feel discriminated. I'll be looking for a new gym in the next months. People never bring in the towels and wear whatever to the gym. The staff only follow some regulations, they make their own rules up.

Horrible Experience and abusive practices.
Back in December I called to Cancel my membership because I wasn't using it. A month ago I notice they were still charging me their monthly fee for the last 6 Months. I called and their response was we don't do cancellations over the phone. I express I don't want their services anymore and haven't put a foot in that facility. To make matters worst they just charge me $42 today for a service I already express to corporate I don't want. They excuse them selves saying "The agreement" says to go in person. Don't do automatic payment. They have no morals and will rip you off without hesitation! Go ANYWHERE but with them!

Basic no frills gym that still has everything you need to get a good work out in for a great price. I initially complained in a survey that was sent that many of the equipment was in need of repair and management reached out to me immediately. Since then all of the equipment has been in working condition, much of the padding and worn down buttons have been replaced. The gym is always clean and they have sanitizer spray all around.

I wanted to keep the bad situation off of the review board, but this is the last of last straws.

I signed up at the beginning of 2018. I got a membership and a trainer. I had one session and every time after that (with that trainer) he rescheduled because he also worked at Wells Fargo. Then the training manager left, and she was the one who was taking care of me.

When I tried to cancel everything, they refused. Not only did they not walk me through the process they required (after I asked to cancel), after filling out all of the paperwork, they still were taking out the fee for training sessions and the membership fee. I had to threaten legal action before they finally refunded me the money they owe.

Now they are calling to see if I want a membership. I politely explained the situation to the girl when I answered that I would never sign up with them again, and to please not call me.

Three calls later, I am having to threaten legal action AGAIN to get them to stop calling me.

I will be reporting this company to BBB. Stop spamming. Stop stealing money. Stop being shady.

I thought this was a great place for me and family after last night when my son was working out with me and father he was told it look like a personal trainer due to him showing us how to weight lift properly I was in disbelief due to other people were doing the same thing I hope this not a race thing g since majority of people are Hispanic would not refer anyone one to this particular gun on Antione.

I hate it. Even though it is close to home the location is horrible. Traffic on Antoine is a 24 hour tragedy so it is nearly impossible to get in and get out.
Also, it is always packed. Like you can't do anything unless you go midday or early in the weekend.
I definitely wanna find another gym.

Machines need some kind of maintenance. When are you all going to repair the padding on some of the equipment like the flat bench in the press machine? It has been like that for months and is just nasty when you lay the back of the head there. Also when are you all going to adjust the belts on the treadmills? They are loose when you walk and makes you loose your balance...safety issue. So it has been more than a month and I don’t see any change of the above issues........

Worst customer service... called to get update on class schedule and the person left in n charge, who only comes "a couple of nights" was left alone with no managers or anyone else on the premise. He did his best but was unsure of the facts. The reason I know he was left alone by 8 p.m., perhaps earlier, is because I asked to speak with a manager and he stated no one else was there but him and he apologized. I agree with others, pay a little more for service. My daughter also had issues with the personal trainer she hired here 😡.

Monthly prices are reasonable, customer service is pretty good. They have a variety of fitness classes and the instructors are AMAZING! The cleaning staff is also very good at keeping the machines sanitized. This gym is kinda small (no pool or sauna) but it's definitely worth the try.

I have also had a bad experience with this facility's personal trainers. I originally signed a 3 month personal training session but it has been a horrible experience since the get go. I was approached by who then was the director of personal trainers asking me if I was interested in a fot test to measure where I was. We got through the fit test then i got suckered in to signing the 3 month contract, anyway the director did not once mention that there would be a 100.00 charge for the fit test. I ended up paying 352.00 when I signed the contract. For every 4 sessions I paid 152.00, which had to be automatically withdrawn every other week. It sucked because I would not get my full 4 sessions in and they would still withdraw the money. I asked for a refund but I just got the run around and got frustrated so I called the corporate number, well the person who "helped" me simply stated that I was still responsible for the payments and that if I did not pay my account would get sent to collections. Like I said i signed the contract in July of 2017 for three months but still havent been able to use all the sessions (which are already paid for) due to the trainers quitting, this will be the 4th trainer that has quit and no communication whatsoever in regards to them leaving or who will be picking up the clients. I always have to go and ask and they look at me surprised and say "Oh no one has given you a call?" There is bo communication to the customers and also something I did not know is that if your sessions expire, it is up to the gym to see if they can reinstated them. I did hear that most of the time te regional manager/director will not reinstate them, on the contrary he will try to get the customers to sign another contract, which makes it clear that all they care about is the money. Maybe the trainers will stay if they get better pay and not $8.00 a session when I am paying the gym $32.00. So what was supposed to be a 3 month contract starting in July has been stretched out to be a 9 month horryfying process. All in all lesson learned, and for those seeking personal trainers or employment with this facility do your research. I am very disappointed with this gym. It is hard to keep a positive outlook or keep doing your best at a fitness center who doesnt value its customers. And I actually feel that I am being nice by giving them 1 star update: I went in today (4/11/18) to inquire about my personal trainer who did not show up on the 26 of march and have not heard anything from the gym.And also wanted to inquire about my sessions. It turns out I have 7 sessions left and they expired on the 31, I asked what my options where. I was explained that an email would have to be sent to the manager and see if they could be reinstated and that most likely he would try to sell me another package ....I am so fed up... I explained the situation again to the person helping me. I was never notified that the rest of my sessions would be expiring soon and the trainer didnt even show up on the 26 of March which was my scheduled sessions with him. I wasnt given any clarity, I just want the money back from the sessions, such a hassle

I rarely leave reviews, but I would feel like I am doing a dis-service by not reviewing this gym. I DO NOT recommend this gym to anyone. Since December, I have had 3 different personal trainers. The first one resigned and the 2nd and 3rd trainers missed a total of 4 scheduled sessions. I did not receive a phone call prior to communicating why sessions were canceled. They simply did not show up. When I had the front desk person to call them, they would say they were 3 min away but show up 30 min later. I paid $304 for the sessions, and I expect quality because that is what they stated I would receive. Unfortunately, I am learning it is simply a scam. If I could give a zero review, I would. After the 3rd trainer missed the second session with me, I requested for my money back. The business manager quickly told me that it was against policy to receive my money back. Then I told her that I would proceed by filing a complaint with the BBB, attorney general, and anyone else who will help me to get my money back. She stated that I would receive a call or email, but it has been over 48 hours and I haven't heard from anyone. Please do yourself a favor, and do not invest in this gym.

Their facilities are nice and all, but that doesn't make up for their utter lack of customer support. I mean what kind on business in 2018 doesn't even have a contact email?? 24 hour fitness has an email, a chat system, an app, any of which you can cancel or pause your membership from. Whereas youfit you can only cancel from physically going into one of their locations or paying an additional fee to snail mail your cancellation.

I don't even live in Houston anymore. So I have the choice, pay the additional fee plus mailing fees. Or I can waste an entire day driving a few hundred miles back to Houston just to cancel this stupid membership that I HAVE NEVER EVEN USED!

Their complete lack of tact when hounding me to update my payment info is such a turn off that even if I did still live in Houston, I would go out of my way to never have to deal with youfit health clubs ever again.

I spent a number of years in the gym industry and have managed a few of them. I like this place. It's just what you need in a gym: free weights, machines, cardio, stretching area, aerobics, and a locker room. Nothing fancy, nothing crazy...just the bare bones of what you need. Guess what? Twenty-five pounds weighs the same regardless of if you are paying $10 a month or $75. All gyms have high turnover rates, that's just the nature of the industry. All gyms have break in issues in their parking lots. All of them. Trust me....I've seen it everywhere I go. And it's not the gym that's responsible for security, it's the property owner. This place is a good value. It gives you what you need, at a good price. Every gym has its ways that it's going to get you to pay. Typically the higher the enrollment fees, the lower the monthly fees and vice-versa. I like it here. It's not crowded. Everyone I have encountered there has been friendly. Overall I would recommend this place to others. It's a good value and has everything you need. If you want to work out, go here. If you want to go somewhere to be seen in your fresh new gear that you don't want to get sweaty in, go to the places with numbers and city initials in their names.

There is a breakin issue at Antoine location. Company says they know who the theives are but it's a matter of catching them .. No security only cameras .. I LOVE MY GYM! The staff is very friendly, but the setup of the gym is what I love most. There are tons of cardio machines to choose from, the upper body machines are all one color and the lower body machines all another which makes it super easy to navigate the gym. Also, they have an Express workout area, where you can complete a very effective, total body workout circuit- WITH cardio- in just 30 minutes!! It's like having your own personal trainer! The gym is clean and membership cost is minimal...

Awesome gym, it's small but it has everything you need for a good workout. The pricing is fair, and they explain everything to you before you sign up. There are no "hidden fees" at this gym like some people say. You have to read your agreement before you sign up so that you understand everything, but that should be common sense.

Carecen de preparación las personas que se encuentran trabajando ahi...realmente ha sido la peor experiencia,dicen que lo barato sale caro desde el principio e tenido problemas cuando se habría el gym hice la aplicación de 2 membresías,después de meses me llega un papel donde dice que debo 150 y mi esposo 99 el cual voy y pregunto pues el que habrío las cuentas habría 4 membresias y pues en mi cuenta de banco se había hecho esos cargos...ok trato de arreglar esa situación y pues nadie de ahí sabe dar una respuesta ni la manager de nombre Morgan solo se limitan a decir que ellos están el lo correcto x fin encontré una persona del departamento de cobranzas de nombre Jhon que fue el encargado de realmente solucionar y hacerme válido el dinero que me había cobrado de mas,al poco tiempo cambio la membresía de mi esposo de(blanco)en esa se encontraba un crédito de 50 dlls cuando hago el cambio de blanco a verde el personal carente de capacitación se le olvida poner el crédito de 50 dlls. Al las semanas paran a mi esposo diciéndole que tiene pago atrasados el cual una ves mas a buscar una solución como ahí no encuentras alguien capacitado para resolver esa situación una ves mas hablo al departamento de cobranzas ahí me dice Jhon que tengo el crédito de 50 solo q al hacer el cambio de la tarjeta se les olvido hacer válido el credito una ves mas pésimo la gente que trabaja ahí,opte desde abril en pagar mes a mes y ahora resulta que ellos siguen cobrando a mi banco siendo que yo les pago en la caja....realmente son tan incompetentes una buena capacitación deben de darles y enseñarles a que realmente hagan su trabajo como debe de ser hacen errores pague agosto y septiembre en caja y resulta que no se refleja mi pago x el banco.....me regresan supuestamente el mes de septiembre a mi cuenta x que lo cobraron doble realmente no quiero ofender pero las personas encargadas de hacer todos los cambios,cobros no hacen el trabajo como deben de ser.........a pesar de los malos ratos y corajes q e pasado me gustaba el gym x q esta a solo 2 cuadras......y se que no soy la única con este tipo de experiencia.....
