I've been a member of this gym for a while now, and I have to say, Lina and Sam are a huge part of what makes it so great! They're always so friendly and welcoming, and they go out of their way to help everyone feel comfortable and motivated. Lina is a wizard with workout plans, always tailoring them to my specific goals and needs. Sam is a master of form correction, preventing injuries and maximizing results. I’ve been going to Gym 180 Fitness for years and I absolutely love it. The 24-hour access is a game changer because it lets me work out on my own schedule. I've been going to this gym for a few years and honestly I like it quite a bit it's not quite a bit of equipment and a good amount of dumbbells and the turf area that they have is pretty sweet the sauna and the steam room are nice to relax in and the staff is pretty friendly. I like how it's 24 hours and makes it nice so you can hit your workout whenever you want. I like the facilities are always kept up and the best part is they keep the AC on so it's never too hot I would recommend this to all my friends

I love the gym itself and most of the staff is pretty friendly, there is however one guy that works there that is really rude and he acts annoyed and makes a huge production whenever a question is asked. I asked him to check me in and he made a huge production: rolling his eyes dramatically, mumbling under his breath, acting extremely annoyed. It was to the point where another gym member came up and asked if I said something to make him mad. I also asked for time on the tanning bed to which he replied “why the hell do you need to tan.” But other than this one worker the gym is great. The locker rooms are clean, the sauna is amazing, and it has a room just for free weights. It does tend to get busy in the afternoon but otherwise it’s amazing!

UPDATE: 2/10/2025 - nothing gets fixed or repaired in a timely fashion or they expect the hourly paid employees to fix issues that are out of their skill set or pay grade. For instance: the women’s handicap toilet has been clogged and is gross for over 1.5 weeks. CALL A DANG PLUMBER! Another treadmill is “taking a breather”. The last one took months to get fixed. Two different leg machines took a couple weeks to get fixed and one of them is broken yet again. Shout out to Liv for actually cleaning. The other two, they need lessons on what it means to clean. Especially the bathrooms. Do better owners. You know better.

Since the gym was sold to 180 fitness, this place has gone down hill BIG TIME! Here’s a list: removal of equipment. Not sure if they are pulling and putting in another gym or if they have been stolen. Broken mirrors that have been needing to be replaced for a while. The turf is gross. Toe nail clippings, dirt and such. The tile between the women’s lock room and dry/wet sauna is absolutely disgusting. Why you ask, the tile is broken in areas and water seeps up and puddles. Also the light is broken in the dry sauna, so you have to sit in the dark. Could the place afford a good scrub down, 1000%. Why do I workout here and stay? Because it’s a mile from my house, I have made friends here and I love the small community gym feeling. Just not the gross, collecting a paycheck and not keeping it up feel. Salem deserves better!

Great staff and not overly crowded. Biggest problem with this gym is the members. Many are too lazy to rack their weights leaving others to clean up after them.
I’ve been going here for 3 years and it bothered me enough today to leave a review. 600 lbs left on the leg press and 8 separate dumbbells left at a squat rack.

I’ve paid around $200 this year for a broken tanning bed. This used to be a 5 star gym but repairs take forever. Equipment breaks down and sits for months broken. Smith machine has been broken for over 1 year. They lock the bathroom stalls so they are not accessible over a little handle that is broken. Just buy a new handle. It’s a $5-10 repair. Apparently the owner likes doing all the repair and as a result, very little gets done.

Had this place at 5 stars … they’ve tanked so badly I’m thinking about cancelling my family’s pass.
On countless occasions I’ve seen them allow people to use gym equipment with bare feet and walk around with no socks or shoes , which is disgusting. On top of that they never clean the place , the steam room smells like mildew.
The equipment is always damaged and never working.
This place has gone down hill big time.

Only cons are that the high school kids get loud, and bathrooms look like they are never cleaned. Showers are gross and steam sauna feels sticky.

I can’t say enough good things about Salem total fitness! Hands down the best place to workout! If you have ever been to Vasa or any other gym… then you know how it is to deal with a gym that is so packed you can’t even workout, a gym that is full of creepy guys, a gym that has a management team that doesn’t know you or care about you, a gym that has broken down or old equipment, and a gym that doesn’t stand by their members or deal with problems… but NOT HERE! I have personally seen very disrespectful and obnoxious people here and the management team immediately deals with the issue by making those people leave! How do you deal with a problem? Get rid of the people causing it! Most gyms are driven by money and don’t care to cancel memberships of problematic people. With this mentality you can rest assured that any disrespectful or problematic people are not allowed here. You know it’s a great gym when your wife, your mom, and your little sister, workout there everyday at all hours of the day and night and not only feel comfortable but at home! It’s so nice to have a local gym that all your friends and family workout at. There really is a gym family here!

It's a great small town gym. It has just about everything you need. I've been going for years now. But in the past year or so it has become way too busy. The only way to get your workout in is to go in extremely early. They need to expand and grow to handle all the new members.

I love this gym. I never have to wait for equipment, it’s clean, and the staff is friendly. There’s a small town vibe to it and I’m here for it. Out of all the gyms I’ve attended, STF takes the crown. My only wish is that there was kidcare, other than that I’m completely satisfied with this gym establishment.

Not a problem with the gym itself. I cancelled my subscription via email like they asked me to do and they continued to charge me, I went in and physically filled out a paper to cancel and they still continued to charge me. I called the gym to get a refund on the charges and Hailey sat on the phone and argued with me on everything for about 20 min. Not impressed with management here.

Great place to work out. I like to workout later in the evening but it is never busy enough that I've had to wait for machines. The sauna and steamrooms are far above the standard, which is my main reason for choosing this gym. All facilities are well maintained and managed. Workout areas are well separated, allowing for a more personal workout experience in a commonly overpopulated environment. I'm absolutely glad I decided to switch over.

Staying open during the pandemic of 2020/21 was a lifesaver for Tiffani and me. With nearly everything you need from a gym, the 24 hour access, and the steam room, what more could you ask for in a gym? I’ve been going to this gym for about a month and can 100% say it is the best one I’ve ever been to!! That being said my only complaint is that their WiFi is horrible. I can only connect to it if I’m in the gym with like 3 other people or less. I’ve talked to a couple employees about it but nothings really changing so I hope they can get that fixed!

I really like this gym. It's nice and clean. The only thing that has bothered me is being told there would be tanning included in the price. It's been over a month since I switched to Salem and still no tanning and no one can give an answer as to when the beds will be up and going. Just feel like if something was included and I'm paying for it I should be able to use it. Other than that it's a great gym.

Love the new location! I used to go to the one in Payson but now I go to both locations. This Salem location is super clean and I love all of the updated equipment. The layout is is perfectly set up. I love the the duality of experience in the two different levels as well as the different specified area's. Great facilities (steam room/sauna), locker rooms look like a high end country club, and plenty of space to focus. This is the best gym experience I have had to date and I have experienced everything else in the county.
