24 Fitness is closing - they knew this months ago but still took money for memberships. Now they REFUSE to give money back! DO NOT GO TO ANY 24 HR. All the service is HORRIBLE and they knowingly STEAL YOUR MONEY!

This gym is dirty and things stay broken FOREVER! You cant even wipe machines down before you use them because there is never any cleaner or paper towels. It is also god-awful hot during the summer due to their giant windows - ya'll need some window film or to turn up the AC. The showers also don't drain right and have terrible pressure. Also, when I tried to cancel by phone they told me I needed to come in. I told them that would be inconvenient because I moved to another city (which is why I canceled) The guy on the phone said "sorry, its policy". I then went to the gym to cancel in person and the guy at the counter (nametag said Steele) said he would have a manager CALL me to get my membership canceled after they told me I had to CANCEL in PERSON. After talking to "Steele," I was told a manager would call me to confirm, no call ever, no voicemail, AND I got billed again 2 days later. The only reason I went to this gym for so long was because of it's location. This was the closest gym to me by far but now I have moved to a new city and am happy to say sayonara to this 24-hour fitness.

1. Name is misleading it is only open 24 hours on T/W/TH on all the weekends it closes at 10 or earlier. Other locations seem to be 24hours
* so over half the week it is not 24 hours but it is the same price as other locations
2. Pricing is terrible. Think the Price is $34.99/month+$39.99 initiation fee+$49.99 annual fee for month to month or initiation fee goes away with a contract for a year.
3.Staff is not really helpful.
4.Machines break alot and is constantly dirty
5.Machines seem older and are somewhat difficult to use

I was a member for three years and then had to cancel my gym membership due to the fact that I had gotten a personal one at home.I asked them to cancel the membership but the manager wanted to freeze it instead and assured me it would cost me nothing if I did. Then three days later charge my credit card for $60 for an annual fee when I called and said he manager assured me it would cost nothing and if I would have known I would not have froze my membership not only would not refund my money but actually encourage me to go to court if I wanted it back. They even admitted they were sorry for The Manager Minnie's mistake but refused to fix it. I called Minnie and she told me too bad I felt that way but also refused to fix it. She even admited she missed freezing the account. This company will not only rip you off but then refuse to make it right. If you need to cancel call your credit card and get a new number because they will keep charging and do nothing to make it right.

Do not get a membership here. They have a lot of equipment but it is always broken. Half the treadmills always have something wrong, even after talking to management.

This is a great gym. It has plenty of equipment of all kinds. Dedicated spin room, tons of cardio equipment (I've never seen it close to full, even at the peak time in the evening), free weights, and weight machines. The squat racks are often pretty busy at other gyms I've been to and you often have to wait to get on the equipment. Not here, there are 5 squat racks plus a deadlift area. Equipment is in good condition for the most part and equipment that requires repair seems to get addressed fairly quickly, no sitting for months with an "out of order" sign. The locker room is spacious and pretty clean. The showers are fine. Overall it's the best gym I've been to.

Lots of nice equipment and variety but they are not maintained and the gym and the locker rooms are dirty. Quiet frankly if it wasn't next to my house and for the daycare I would not bother. The staff is OK as well. The gym needs to be cleaner and they definitely need to upgrade their treadmills
Its called 24 hour fitness but they are not open 24hours SMH
Their daycare facility is makes up for it a little. The ladies at the day care are very nice and good with the kids .

I get a corporate discount at this gym, so I probably have a skewed perception of the cost/benefit ratio, but for what I pay it is very nice. Cardio equipment is extensive with bikes, treadmills, ellipticals, crosstrainers, rowers, stairs, and a few others that I'm not familiar with. Large freeweight section with good equipment, many different brands of captive weight machines, many pulley machines, and other bodyweight equipment like bands, kettle balls, weighted balls, and stability platforms.
The gym is clean but not hyper-clean (like Planet Fitness, for example), which is the sweet spot for me. I'm no germaphobe and don't like having to keep everything 100% germ free, but I know the equipment is still safe to use. Don't lick it and you'll be fine.
Locker rooms are large, afford reasonable privacy, and the showers are also perfectly good with soap and plenty of room to comfortably maneuver. I've never used the sauna or the VIP lockers. All of these are included with membership, except the VIP area, which costs extra.
My one complaint is a shortage of stretching/yoga/bodyweight exercise space. There is some, it just gets crowded during popular times of the day.
Staff has always been very friendly. I've never used their personal trainers, but they are well-credentialed and seem popular.
All types use this gym. There are very intense athletes and hobbyists, casual fitness users like me, old, young, very old, very young, men, women, cardio trainers, weight experts, yoga masters, and anyone else you can think of. They have a child care area, too, if you need to drop off your kids while you work out.

Just find amother gym, this is gym is a scam. First of all, 30 dollars a month for a gym that's not even open 24 hours on weekends is not worth it. Second, if you do get a membership here, be careful that you're not locked into a contract. When I signed up I told the guy that was helping me that I did NOT want a contract that would lock me into the gym membership for a certain amount of time, so he said that was ok and tried to sell me a bunch of other deals. I made the mistake of not reading the membership form and signed it, a few months pass and I decide I need to cancel my membership because I don't have time to go the gym anymore. Come to find out, the bald guy who sold me my membership snuck a contract in there that is keeping me from canceling my membership till December. Oh and I should mention, if you want to cancel your membership it cost $300 for an early termination fee. So in summary, just avoid this place like the plague. Don't do what I did and sell my soul away to this place.

I would give the gym itself a 4 1/2 but the management is why it only gets 2. The manager JEREMY OLSON is by far one of the worst managers I've had the "privilege" to interact with. He's extremely rude, abrasive and arrogant. I've spoken with a couple of employees (which seem to change daily) and the two that I've spoke with agree with me 100%. So at least it's just not the customers he's a d*ck too, it's everyone. I went to this gym for 2 years and left for a little over a year, I never had a problem until recently.

For those of you that haven't been to Vasa yet, 24 hour is one of the cleanest and staff friendly environment I've been to in the valley. First thing you notice is the CLEANLINESS! GREAT STAFF! Love working out at this facility!

Fancy machines and interior, but lacks what the Murray location has; Murray has dumbells with increments of 5lbs and 2.5lbs, West Jordan doesn't. And Murray also has barbells with in recent of 5lbs instead of only 10lbs like west Jordan. WJ has spacious locker rooms, nice equipment and a sweet looking interior, but if you go up in weight at each set, and want to work on form; then come to the Murray location.
