No loyalty to there team/students. If they do not perform at 100 % they are not there as coaches to help them grow. Facility should have closed in the 90's. Very out of date and run down. My Grandaughter has switched gyms and overcome several issues that have held her back for the last year in only 2 weeks at this new gym. As soon as they told all american that the were even entertaining the idea of change to help her they were told not to come back!

My son started at All American Gymnastics in June on the men's team. In the 6 weeks that he has been at AAG, he often cries at practice and has come home crying or visibly upset. This was a huge red flag and extremely out of character for my son, who had previously done 2 years at Momentum gymnastics and never once had the coaching make him cry.

We spoke to the last coach about it, and let him know that our son would come home crying, sore, tired and exhausted. He said that he lacked the necessary strength for the skills and that as he continued that he would get stronger. We decided to tough it out and see if his body would adapt to the training, but he never did. Our son does in fact have the necessary strength and when he competed last year he was consistently placing 1st-3rd on all skills with Momentum.

In just 6 short weeks at AAG, our son that absolutely loved gymnastics started burning out and saying that he was no longer having fun and that it was too hard. We went to the coaches meeting last night to meet the new coaches, and they are younger guys that are new to coaching. While they might be incredible gymnasts themselves, we don't believe that they have the mental fortitude to discern when they have pushed kids too far.  It is concerning that the coaching staff has not recognized when our son was being pushed beyond his limits, only noticing after it had negatively impacted him. This level of oversight is not acceptable for a 7 year old in a learning environment.

I'm writing this review because after reaching out to AAG multiple times, through talking to the coach and through their support email, we were unable to find an amicable resolution. With the huge red flags, poor communication and traumatic coaching, we chose to pull out our 2 boys from their program early. AAG did not offer any condolences or concern for our situation, there was no refund for any enrollment fees or coaching fees for July (which we are no longer finishing). Instead, they continually referenced their 4 week notice policy and continue trying to bill us for August, which we will not be attending or paying.

This location is so old and they don't place any money to renovate the place. The summer schedules they put out don't consider the parents that work jobs during the day. I honestly don't know why I keep my daughter here besides the gymnastics itself. If their was another place that was as good as this one, I would move her right away...

Monica was a great balance of cheerful and structured. She had everyone's attention and when they stopped listening, she was able to gain control back. I had my 2 year old and 3 year old take a trial class and with both instructors, they took time to help my kids so they felt confident in their abilities. The mommy and me class with my 2 year old was adaptable as I had to carry my 3 month old in my arms the whole time. My kids thrived and I feel confident that they would do really well in this establishment.

This place is too small and overcrowded. They have large groups and my daughter has to wait a while before she can practice. Out of the hour, she practices maybe 30 minutes. They expect a parents to pay for one on ones when they aren't spending enough time with each kid and their groups are generally over 8 kids which minimizes the time my kid gets to spend time learning and training in time for pass offs. The front desk always seems to be in a bad mood and treats parents like kids.

Hey All American! Update your website! Update your class schedule! Make sure all your employees are on the same page and informed about class schedules! Talked to multiple different people about getting my daughter signed up and was told different information from everyone who I talked to. The website has no current class schedule and is not helpful at all. Spent so much time back and forth all for nothing! They will not be receiving my business now.

This place is incredible! I watched multiple groups practicing and saw amazing peer support within each group. The gym definitely has a family feel to it.

My son was able to attend a few sessions with York and he was exactly what we were looking for in a gymnastic coach. My son is a former soccer player turned wanna be gymnast and York was patient but still expected a lot from him. A perfect teacher!! I wish we lived in this state, so we could attend this gym.

I love this gym. The office staff is very friendly, they made sure I was happy with the classes that my kids were in. Their prices were surprisingly fair. They even offer sibling discounts and when you have a family as big as ours that is important. They are very fun to watch. They have a nice viewing area from upstairs. They take parent concerns seriously. I love this gym... oh did I say that already.

We love this place :) great atmosphere especially if you get great coaches. LOVE coach Marisa and coach Lizzie is awesome too. There's a super sweet gymnastics coach that wears unicorn headbands and fun stuff for her classes :). What drew me to this gym is that there's a place for any level of commitment. I wanted more than just rec center classes but my girls weren't ready for twice a week intense classes so I was able to just once a week classes and even with once a week we've seen so much improvement! It's the perfect balance

Before coming to All American, other moms warned me that this gym is too serious and kids don't enjoy their time there and the coaches are too strict and sometimes even disrespectful to the little ones. But I didn't find that at all! On the contrary, I found the coaches to be professional, open to feedback, and committed to making it a positive experience for the kids. I am genuinely impressed by their tot program where they make it fun and not stressful for the little ones yet demanding enough to ensure appropriate growth and success. It is not easy to keep the attention of 3 year olds but the coaches make it engaging, they use imagination in their stretches and their routines, they incentivize the little ones, and take breaks when necessary to ensure more consistent engagement throughout the class. My kids love All American. When my kids wake up and find that there is no gymnastics that day they get sad and count down the days until the next class!

we loved the gym rompers class here! my daughter had Angie as her coach and she always was excited to see every kid that walked into class! She made sure to get the kids attention and teach them while still having fun! The kids absolutely love her. She has gone the extra mile time & time again to make gymnastics special for the kids- even as simple as dressing up for every holiday. The kids love it. Definitely worth it.

Extremely disappointed. I was already upset about a couple instances that had occurred involving my daughter, but was willing to look past them. I grew up dancing at a high level and had many tough teachers, so my skin is thick even when it comes to my children and their coaching. However, in this instance I have nothing good to say.

It is painfully obvious that the coach who teaches my daughter’s class doesn’t enjoy children. Why she teaches the 3 year olds? I’ll never know. I have seen her snap at kids multiple times over the year my daughter has attended, and especially when their parents weren’t watching the class. Maybe she thinks we are all dumb and don’t notice? We do, but I am always at her classes so she was kind enough to my daughter and was constantly using her and her two friends as examples of how to execute skills to their classmates. Two of my friend’s children attend the same class, and one week they took her to class for me. Following the class, I was shown a video of the coach yelling at and berating my THREE YEAR OLD daughter for being scared to try a skill. My daughter is not on a team, she does gymnastics once a week along with many other activities because she enjoys it and I’m trying to help her find what activity she enjoys the most. In this particular instance, my daughter teared up due to nerves, to which the coach yelled at her and responded with something along the lines of “stop crying, just because you don’t want to do something doesn’t mean you need to cry about it”. My daughter then respectfully continued practicing her skills.

To have my child disrespected to that degree by an adult was upsetting enough, but to have a gym where coaches are that terrible at their job was extremely disturbing. I was watching my child’s swim coach yesterday talk her through something she didn’t want to try, and this 19 year old girl was leaps and bounds a better teacher/coach than the 50+ year old who yelled at my child. I would not trust your children at this gym, because the treatment when you’re present and when you aren’t is night and day. Sweet as a peach when you’re there and SO unprofessional when you aren’t. The more I have spoken with friends and acquaintances the more negative I have heard about this gym. People are leaving left and right, and I now understand why.

Horrible experience. Took my 3 year olds to their first ever gym class. The teacher “coach” proceeded to yell at them for being distracted by the very loud practicing older teams in a wide open gym. Also chose to reprimand my daughter for not knowing all of her colors. The teacher sat down for most of the class and they did the same circuit for 20 minutes while she yelled across at them that they weren’t remembering to do it correctly. I had to interject from the observation area a few times to give them some sort of positive reinforcement to help them have a good experience because I know gym is so valuable. I was extremely disappointed in how my very excited for gymnastics TODDLERS were treated. Honestly would give it zero stars. Do better.

We came here after moving from California.b we wanted a reputable gym that taught proper form to minimize any injury risk. After a year we found, recreation classes vs teams classes are VERY different. Your child can stay stagnet for years in a rec class (confirmed by a team mom). The better teacher are coaching teams. Rec teacher trend to not care or simply go thru motions. My fair daughter learned zilch in a year, despite being athletic & flexible. Front desk was even more disappointing. Despite informing them we were discontinuing, they charged me 2 extra months & refused to rectify. As of recently, they lost almost all team coaches to another gym. 😐

Wow! I have never had such a bad experience with a gym. I was first overcharged for a class. Then the class was cancelled the day of class, hours before! I tried over two months to receive a refund for the overcharge and also the cancelled class and was told each time by the front office that they would talk to the owner who would then ok a manager to send me a refund. After several calls and emails, I received no callback or refund. Still waiting... Horrible experience!

I drive from Lehi to PG just to have my son go here, it’s a sacrifice for us but I’ve tried other gyms in my area and none come close to this one as it’s hard to find good coaches for young boys. I’ve liked all his coaches he’s had so far. It’s important to me that coaches know what they’re doing and how to handle boys and don’t have a crazy turnover of teachers and different subs every week. They do a good job here.

Unbelievable that you would leave a six year old by himself for an entire hour! I am furious at the lack of care shown here, and lack of willingness to refund this parent's cost when your facility was incapable of basic communication and delivery of the agreed-upon service. This parent dropped off his son for class, was told he couldn't observe due to COVID restrictions, and YOU left the child abandoned for an hour! Do you have any concept of how terrifying this had to be for the child? He's 6! You're horrible people with horrible management. The only appropriate reaponse is a full refund of all coats paid since YOU didn't deliver.

We love All American Gymnastics. I have 2 daughters 10 and 8 both on competition teams, and a 4 year old son who also take a class once a week. My children always fell safe and are always happy to go to gymnastics everyday. I never worry about just dropping them off, I know the staff and coaches will make sure my kids are safe.
The coaches at every level take the time to explain and critique each child after they perform a skill, always trying to make sure the move is performed with correct way with the best form and technique possible. They help push my kids out of their comfort zone but also know to not try and push them to do something before they are ready.
The office staff is great as well, any time I have questions about my bill they take the time to look up my account and give me the time and attention to make sure everything is charged correctly. They are always welcoming when we show up for gym, always saying hello and greeting us and always take care of my kids when they need anything from a hair tie to a bandage.
We love all the time spent at this gym and are so thankful for them.

If when you choose an extracurricular activity for your child, you expect your child to be in a safe environment and for the staff to care for your child in a reasonable manner, then stay the heck away from All American Gymnastics. To call the employees here negligent is an understatement. They left a young (6) child crying in distress for over an hour without contacting the parent, who would have been inside with him if not for the location’s rules. Whether it’s a lack of communication, misunderstanding, or (more likely) the fact they only care about money, what happened here today is absolutely not okay. They had plenty of opportunities to right the situation and notify the parent, but they failed. Anyone who condones that kind of behavior of an adult is a terrible human being. And to deny a refund for services not rendered after messing up on THEIR END? I think that alone proves they just want your money and don’t give a hoot about your child. Spread the word. All American Gymnastics sucks.

All American Gymnastic's Preschool

We had the good fortune of having our son attend the All American Gymnastics Preschool this year (2019-2020). It was life changing for our three-year-old son. By the end of the year, he could write his entire name (first and last), he was beginning to read, and he could count to twenty! He also could balance on the balance beam, swing full circle around the bars, jump on the trampoline landing in very specific poses, and he could he even do a round-off! Most importantly, however, he made several new friends. We were really struggling with his behavior at the beginning of the school year and by the end of the year, our son was following directions, paying attention, and even waiting his turn. We are forever indebted to Ms. Heidi and Ms. June for their hard work and dedication to our son!

I'm sure there are some kids who can have a good experience here but that just wasn't the case for our kid. The class sizes were too big for 1 instructor, who ends up just herding the 3+4 year olds around instead of actually getting them to do anything with the equipment. My kid got bored of waiting for the instructor to run off and collect another runaway that he just wanted to leave. And don't even get me started on the finances. Good luck getting any kind of customer service out of these guys. They want your money and don't really care what it takes to get it. Good luck getting a refund of any kind even if you call in advance. If your kid is older maybe 8 and up, I'm sure this could be a great place, if you're looking at toddler classes, look elsewhere.

1st of all I have read all the negative complaints about this company. I noticed that the owner only responds to the positive comments. I would hope that the company owner seeks resolution for their disgruntled customers.

My child had been attending and after one year became bored with the same old routines everyday. She also got hurt and no one reported this to us.

When the end of our year was up, they billed me for the enrollment fee despite the fact that we were withdrawing from the class. There was no getting around their policy and they refused to respond in a professional manner.

It took me filing a dispute with my bank to get my money back. I am a business owner and this company has extremely poor management. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau as well.

I never write bad reviews, but I would like the owner to know about our experience here. My daughter took a tumbling class here in the summer because wanted to try out some places to decide what would be a good fit for her. After being in gymnastics for 7 years, she wanted to take a tumbling only class. She is old enough to have quite a bit of experience with different coaches and said her coach was a little negative. She would tell her something was bad or looked horrible, but didn't tell her what the reason was or how to fix it, which wasn't helpful. The biggest problem was that her coach was very forceful and made her do a trick that she wasn't comfortable with even after she objected and told her she wasn't ready for the trick yet. My daughter finally did the trick because she felt like she would be in trouble if she didn't and got a stress fracture, which put her out of cheer and other gym classes for 6 weeks. I realize that it's good for coaches to push the kids to achieve, but they should also be trained to listen to the kids and realize that they know their own limits and shouldn't be forced to do things they're not comfortable with. I should add that my daughter is very competitive and driven to get good at gymnastics. She's not afraid to try new things. If anything, she pushes herself harder than her coaches have, but she knows her limits and should feel safe enough to express herself without feeling shamed for it. That situation was just an annoyance, though. I know kids get hurt a lot in gymnastics and was not going to get too hung up about it. My major complaint is with the office staff. After my daughter was injured, I talked to the staff to let them know that we needed to cancel the next month because my daughter was injured. The younger blonde woman in the office interrupted our conversation to yell at me and say that I have to pay for classes unless I give a two week notice. I was super surprised because I was literally just talking to the other staff member..not being contentious at all. I told her my daughter was injured in the facility and she said we still had to pay for two more weeks since we didn't give notice. I'm not sure how we would give notice for an injury, but I still wasn't contentious at all--I'm not really the fighting type. I just gave the notice then and left it at that--it was two weeks til the end of the month anyway, so I was fine to just pay for the whole month. Later I got a bill for the next month and decided to ask about it since I wasn't expecting to have to pay for anything besides the two weeks I had to pay for my daughter not going to class while she recovered. As soon as I mentioned it, again not being contentious or accusational, just asking about it thinking it was an error, the same woman immediately started yelling at me about the billing cycle being online and how I should have looked it up. I tried to explain how we had already talked about this and I gave the two week notice, but she talked over me and interrupted. She was seriously at a yelling level while I was just talking, and there were other parents in the office looking over with concerned looks on their faces. I finally ended up just paying for a whole extra month because I was so embarrassed about her behavior. I was totally shocked at how I was treated, especially since my daughter was injured in the facility. I wanted to let the owner know so she can have some feedback on ways to improve. I think that customer service is fine until someone has a problem and then it gets pretty nasty. We found a better fit for my daughter, and that may not have been the case if I weren't treated so badly by the woman in the office.

UPDATE: There's not a way to reply to the owner, so I'll just add an update to my review. The office staff and the coach were aware of the injury, so I'm not sure why it wasn't recorded. It was initially diagnosed as a pulled muscle, but after an x-ray was found to be a stress fracture. Happy to hear the office staff has been updated. My daughter has healed and is still happily tumbling. Thanks

Love this gym! Before we moved to Utah, we researched the gyms in the area and All American Gymnastics was, by far, the most recommended gym! My kids love it, we love it, and we have found the staff and coaches to be encouraging, helpful, and very knowledgeable. They are experts in teaching & coaching gymnastics. It’s an added bonus to find out that all coaches from the PAC 12 & SEC follow the athletes at this gym. Thank you AAG!

We love All American Gymnastics! The coaches are wonderful and we can see progress each time our daughter goes! The class sizes are small so they get more attention. They also get to see gymnasts from all other ages and ranges so they can be inspired for things that they will get to do as they continue to practice! I highly recommend this facility!!

Do not have your children take lessons here. They don't treat their customers with respect. When a coach from AAG told us our daughter wasn't cut out for the level she was on (which was fine), we decided that she needed a change. All American charged us a month of tuition ($300) for her, even though we removed her from the team. When trying to discuss our obvious frustration, there wasn't one person at the company who had an answer for us. I asked repeatedly if I could talk to the manager, but was told by the secretary that they could not give me the owners or managers names (for their protection...!?). After a year and a half of my daughter going to AAG, her coach didn't even know her correct name and she trained on the same team for 9 hours a week. This company only wants money and lacks customer service skills.

We took our daughter in to try out a class. The personnel didn't greet us for our first class. There didn't seem to be any structure for the toddler group; just let them run around. The mats and equipment seemed very outdated and overused. Overall, we were very unimpressed.

After a few weeks of classes here ALL 4 of my kids started getting warts.. all over their feet and one child even all over on one hand. My kids have never gotten warts before.. one of my kids got them so bad that he had about 40+ on one foot which we are still trying to heal.. His whole foot gets wrapped up like as if it's a cast because they are everywhere! It's horrible. This gym does not sanitize their place and they have probably about at least 30 different teams/classes going on at the same time every day- it's nutty and crazy in there. All my friends kids who attend there their kids have gotten at least one wart- one girl got a horrible virus/rash with a cluster of warts on her leg. Another friends daughter got warts all over her foot and she gave me her wart cream to use.

And their bathroom is soooo gross that when my three year old took classes and she had to pee in the middle of her class I would literally carry her in the bathroom and maneuver her around to continue holding her the entire time while peeing wiping her and to wash hands all while in my arms so her feet wouldn't touch the floor. ALL kids are walking in this bathroom barefoot and it's absolutely disgusting that their poor little feet and bodies are being susceptible to all sorts of viruses and diseases. It honestly reminds me of a park public bathroom that you would rather have your kids pee in the bushes or even dig a hole for them instead of entering such a place. Even the top waiting room for parents is even gross- it's almost as if you can "smell" the viruses lurking around in every crevice of that place and here I was letting my kids enter and swim in a cesspool of bacterias.. :/

Also- some of these coaches act like military generals than just kid friendly coaches.. my son was the most affected by their horrible coaching treatment.

I had to get them all out asap. We ended up having a $200 credit in my account from taking kids out sooner. And they won't let me use those funds on another child there even tho it doesn't go against my contract with them... this was the absolutely worst gym I have ever been too.

I wish I read all the reviews before making that decision in coming here in the first place.. I wasn't the only one with kids getting warts and bacterial infections and rashes and sadly I won't be the last.. honestly- if you're considering this gym.. just don't.. go somewhere else or find someone in their basement who offers tumbling classes. I promise you the environment will be much cleaner and healthier for your children.

My son just completed the Fit-by-Five Preschool program for 3-4 year olds and I cannot speak more highly of the teacher Ms. Heidi. First, she sincerely loves the kids, and they know it. Second, my son learned more in this one year of preschool going 2 days a week than my daughter did in two years of preschool going 4 days a week at a different place. I wish we had found Fit-by-Five at All American gymnastics sooner. We had a great experience and I recommend it for all my friends.

Since moving to Utah, we have tried other local gyms, where my daughter did well, but was not enjoying the coaches or the environment. This led to disappointment, so we went ahead and took a look at All American. Since coming to All American, not only does my daughter love gymnastics again, but the coaches go out of their way to make sure we as parents know what is going on. Honesty goes a long way, and my daughter has not been happier. We love this place and look forward to the years to come.

I am a bit confused by all the negative reviews, because in the past few months since we've been attending all I can say are great things. The staff have been kind, the coaches have been great. Yes, my children are in the lower levels so maybe it is a bit different in the upper level classes, but from everything I've experienced I give this gym 5 stars. From what we've seen, this is the best gym in Utah County (we moved here from out of state recently and did a bit of research beforehand and were most impressed by this gym and the level of ability of its athletes and coaches). Oh, and I thought it was pretty neat that the owners of this gym are former NCAA gymnastics coaches (recently retired from coaching many years at BYU).

Love this gym! My daughter is 4 and is in the gym romper 2 class with coach Nola who is so cute with the kids! I did gymnastics with Nebo my whole life but wanted to put her in a more structured gym and all American was the best choice by far thanks coach Nola for making this a great experience

We just moved here from out of state. We came from a smaller gym and we're excited about coming somewhere with more opportunity and to be part of a faster paced gym. Wow. My 11 year old daughter who was a Level 4 was evaluated today by this gym. What I thought would be a positive outcome was completely opposite! She had the nerve to tell me my daughter would never perform at anything but their Xcel program which is a step down from where we came from. That... Since she didn't start at a younger age with them she will NEVER have a chance to move up to a higher program level to shoot for a collegiate scholarship. She told me my daughter would be stuck in this program her WHOLE gymnastics career! Who has the nerve to label my daughter like that and shoot down any of her dreams of shooting for something bigger someday. I am disgusted with her outlook and that she did it in front of my daughter!! I will NOT be taking my daughter to a place that has such a negative outlook on potential talent!! i will be placing my daughter and 2 younger daughters else where!!!

You know I truly tried to look for the good in this gym. I had a hard time, some teachers I'm sure are nice but I switched my toddler (3years old) about three times trying to find a teacher (in a 3 month period) that would be helpful finally I just stuck with one for the sake of my daughter to get used to a familiar face. My daughter is bilingual and is mostly a visual and hands on learner. I felt that would be a piece of cake given that it's a physical activity she's supposed to do. I felt most of the time the teacher would just give up on her because she "assumed" my daughter just didn't speak english and wouldn't spend time trying to teach her what the others were already learning. I admit my daughter gets distracted easily and would run off sometimes but when she had my daughters full attention she still didn't take the time to try and teach her what she took time teaching the other girls individually. I felt I was paying for my daughter to watch others learn so after the block ended I decided to look into other gyms. I watched how some teachers would yell at some kids, get impatient with them for just being kids and give them time out... I just don't recommend this gym.

Tried this gym out two days ago with my two year old & we had so much fun. The instructor was so nice! She was very knowledgeable about how to teach children gymnastics while limiting the chance of injury. She was also very kind to all the parents and was very sweet to my daughter. We had a good experience!

If you want your child to learn gymnastics skills, All American Gymnastics is the place to go. Well trained and caring coaches teach correct technique and appropriately condition gymnasts to prevent injury. Besides being competitive at every level, teams are constructed to benefit each individual gymnast. I have been taking my children to All American for over 11 years. My children have gained life skills, both physically and mentally, that have and will continued to prepare them for life - both on and off the competitive field. My daughter was a gymnastics state champion for 5 years and both my sons are very talented football players and nationally ranked wrestlers - my oldest being #1 in the nation. My husband and I attribute a large portion of their athletic successes to gymnastics.

On a more person note, the coaches at All American love and care about each gymnast. My childrens' coaches are part of our family. They have nurtured my children through times of struggle on and off the mat. They have went above and beyond to make sure my children feel loved.

This was the absolute worst gymnastics facility I have ever been to. The teacher were awful. The staff was awful. Really, I can't think of one redeeming quality that they had. If I could have chosen zero stars, that's definitely the review I would have chosen.

Not only were the very rude to my two year old (you read that right! They were rude to a TWO YEAR OLD), the management was also horrible.

When I tried to talk to them about my concerns (teacher was horrible with my two year old, remember?) they tried to brush it off and say that my daughter just wasn't cut our for gymnastics (just, again, reminding you she is two right here)... Then, they proceeded to charge my card for $64.00 since she came to one class (which we were told was a FREE CLASS).

Really, I would beware of taking your child here. Maybe a teenager could handle it there, but if you are thinking of enrolling a little child for fun--RUN the other way. There are so many other gymnastic gyms around here that will not only be honest (their free class will actually be free, crazy, right!?), but they will treat your child age appropriate.
