3 year update:
Been coming here for three years, there are two other Anytime fitness facilities within 20 minutes of here and I will say hands down, this one is the best. I don’t like when gyms have carpet in the workout areas, this one does not, the other two do. I really like when a gym can see improvements that need to be made and they jump on it, this gym does that. There have been two face lifts that management have implemented since I have been coming here and both have added to the atmosphere of the gym being an open inviting place. I could go on and on about things I like about this gym.

I have brought in guests before, was brought in by my father before getting a membership. A knew staff member who I have only seen recently come up as I tried to bring a friend and was very rude in his confrontation. Looking and speaking to me as if I was crazy when I have been told I could bring in a free guest occasionally if a waver was signed. I was polite, realizing my mistake however he continued to be hostile, scaring my friend. Get better staff who know how to treat people.

I've been an Anytime member for around ten years and used all three facilities in Tooele county. This one is by far the most well-maintained and clean. The owners are great and I've only had good interactions with all the staff. Plus, the people here that I see day in and day out are terrific. Lose an earbud? It will end up in lost and found. Leave your expensive sunglasses on a shelf by mistake? They will be there when you come back the next day.

I liked this gym just fine up until a month ago when suddenly my pass stopped working. I had to call and find out why it wasn’t working there but worked at other locations. It turns out that they no longer accept people who use their insurance or employer fitness passes so the only way I can use this gym is to sign up for a membership out of pocket on top of the membership I have through my employer that allows me to use all other Anytime Fitnesses as well as Vasa, Eos, etc.

I joined this gym a little over a year ago and it was real nice. Over time more members have joined and the gym has been getting beaten up. The equipment is broken for months and months before it’s fixed. They don’t have a lot of equipment for the amount of people that have joined. It smells funny and is very hot and stuffy.
They never have supplies to wipe down equipment or the bathrooms don’t have supplies. I really hope things change in this gym..

It’s 2024, and Anytime Fitness still requires canceling memberships via physical mail! On top of that, they aren’t liable if a payment is due while your letter is in transit. This outdated process feels like a money trap. Canceling should be quick and easy online, not a hassle. The owner makes it this way on purpose and the owner is not very nice. I recommend exploring other options, VASA gym has a much easier cancellation process and has better equipment.

When signing a contract with this particular location, there is something you need to know. They will tell you when signing up that your contracted rate will stay the same if you sign up with the "ZERO" dollars per month and the auto renewal. Just know that once your contract period is over, so is the amount you signed up for. At that point in time, they can raise your rate to whatever they want, and you can't do anything about it except cancel your membership. The good thing is, you can cancel your membership at that time with no fees. I know this to be true because I was told this by two different employees when I signed up my daughter's at two different times. If you would like to keep your original contract pricing, you can transfer to the other two local locations. Just be careful what you sign and what they tell you!

I’ve had an anytime fitness membership in the past and visited locations in UT, ID, OR, WA, and CA. This Stansbury location is one of the nicest out of all of the ones I’ve used. It is always clean and well maintained. I just set up a new membership and Kayla made it super easy and was really helpful. They’ve made a few nice updates since the last time I was here.

This place has some management issues! I highly recommend you do some research. As you can see from my reviews I don’t have many 1 stars ⭐️ so please do your homework before signing up at this location! They like to hike the rate on loyal members and have them pay more than members that have been with them less time. 🤷‍♂️😞

I’ve been a member here at various times since 2008. I love having a great place to work out right close to home. The owners continually invest in upgrading and updating the equipment. They also put a strong emphasis on cleanliness.

The space may be small, but I have never felt that there is a lack of equipment for a total body workout. I have everything I need to get results! And despite the smaller space (compared to the big box gyms, at least) I’ve never felt it is overcrowded. Even at the busier times of day (amazing how many people are busting it out at 5am!!!) I’ve never felt like I’m waiting on a machine of piece of equipment. There’s plenty for everyone!

I thought this was going to be a great membership. But I was absolutely wrong. I haven’t had my membership for long, but my health has taken a turn and it’s potentially dangerous for me to workout so I tried to cancel. They required that I submit a doctors note to them in order to cancel, which is ridiculous in itself. But once I did submit a note, they did not accept it because it was not from an “actual” doctor. It’s from my nutritionist and I don’t see a specialist until March. Clearly all they care about here is money and how they screw their customers just to make the most. They don’t consider the customer whatsoever. Cannot wait until my membership is up.

Anytime fitness doesn't do day passes, they want membership and I only stay for a day or over the weekend. If I did attempt membership, I would first look at their cancellation policies and how they treat those customers. From reading the reviews of those that had to cancel, looks like that policy needs improvement before I join.

The actual gym is fine. No complaints there. Just don’t sign up unless you want a lifelong membership that you have to jump through one million hoops to cancel and then have that still not be good enough. I still have my membership despite not using it in over a year. I’ve sent emails, letters, phone calls, etc. SUUUUUUUUUUUPER frustrating.

The gym is okay and typically not busy which is nice, however the cancellation procedure is a clear money grab and purposefully done to be as difficult as possible. It requires sending a certified mail cancellation request in the year 2021 instead of email or phone call and 30 days after that day you are still liable to pay one last time. There is absolutely no reason for this other than making money and they know it.

One of the best furnished Anytime Fitness locations in the USA. We have visited several others across the country and fortunate that this is our home gym - better than most Anytime fitness as far as equipment, cleanliness, and supplies such as wipes and water. The times we work out, usually about 10 AM - 3 PM, we are lucky that there is no waiting or "working in" required for the equipment we want to use. Equipment maintenance is very good as well as the overall upkeep and cleanliness of the facility. The owners are very nice and work out aficionados themselves. The location in Stansbury, where we live, meets one of my main requirements from using gyms for over 25 years - close and fast to get to encourages visits and use - avoiding travel time excuses and the extra time can be put into work outs - not driving to a far away location. Very fortunate to have such a great local facility when I want a gym work out.

Owners were nice and provided good service; other workers, a little less so. I went to this gym for roughly two years consistently. Nice and clean with good equipment. Rarely crowded as its in a small town.
Only down side is when we moved out of state and wanted to cancel. Was simply told by their front clerk to call their "financial service" and there was "nothing I can help you with." It was next to impossible to cancel and was given the run around. Having to send a certified letter, hoping it wasn't lost and being charged another 2 months. We called the "service" who indicated that they received the cancellation, but didn't know why we were still charged. I can cancelled weighier (pun) things like my 401k, stocks, subscriptions, with a higher membership cost than to cancel this gym membership. Maybe its guilt by association with this service, but its a part of their service level.

Went here with a friend on his guest pass, I have had a home gym for a while and I had forgotten how much I miss commercial gyms. This gym feels like a mix between a crossfit gym and a commercial gym. Lots of Rogue equipment, including a GHD, Monster rig, Jacob's Ladder, a hardwood floor section with an assault bike, as well as Rogue Ohio power bars. I really enjoyed this gym!

The staff and owners of this gym are great. I've been training with Jeannie, and what a difference from the gym I was training at in Salt Lake. She cares about my progress, tracks it, and is very encouraging. She is 100% with me during my entire session.

I wanted to write a review about how nice this gym was instead I'm informing others not to come here! The Owners/ Managers was EXTREMELY RUDE. My Husband and I pay for two membership at Anytime Fitness. The Lady in the office actually had the audacity to follow my husband out and say to him we should of used one shower because she had to pee. We do not pay for one shower so I found that unacceptable to that she would even say something. Then to find out her husband(the other rube owner) said we should just go a truck stop. I couldn't believe they would say that to a member. The couple who is in charge of this gym are terribly rube!!! They are not people you want to get stuck in a contract with. End the end the paying customers are always right.

We travel for YouTube and we have been members for 3 years went to anytime fitness across the country. Today me and my wife went in to take our showers which we pay for and each one of us used a shower. After a 10 min shower I go to exit the gym when I am confronted by the owners wife telling me we were in both showers and she had to use the bathroom. I said sorry then she decided to lecture me on how we should use one shower room I informed her that is against Anytime fitness policy. She demanded I leave. She proceeds to follow me into the parking lot where she continues to lecture me. Then her husband comes out and says if you only want to use the shower go to a truck stop and pay for one which I promptly explained we pay to use all the equipment and the showers what a meat head. This is what a great gym is suppose to be. I'm not just talking about the multiple machines, free weights, trendmills, and even private cardio/exercise room (that this Anytime does have). The owner/manager here is what I would expect someone who owns a gym should be like. Not only does she do her best to keep the place looking nice (cause who likes to grow in a messy environment) but she also cares for the people that come in and out of her gym everyday or every time they get the chance. I've not just witness her acts quietly but also been on the receiving end recently. I truly like this gym so my much I planned to do a review the other day and didn't (understandably busy with everyday life) but like the facility and owner so much that even weeks after actually talking with her I still wanted to do a review. Because in reality anyone and everyone can do a bad review when they're upset but very few do one when they are happy with things. Coming from someone who doesn't do much reviews this gym is worth at the least checking out without a doubt I don't think you'd regret it.

I shared a video review of the gym facitlites being extremely dirty and the gym manager cornered me today to confront me about a Facebook post on their page scolding me and saying I need to message them instead of posting the video on their Facebook page. I stated the video shows exactly the issues. It was stated they cannot ensure people to clean up or put weights away. I have been to other facilities where the gym members respect the facility and clean up after themselves. When you walk into a cardio room and there are large rocks and dirt on the floor and even the yoga mats don’t protect from that there is an huge cleanliness issue.

Manage ruined my workout and I will never go to this location again.

No person should be afraid to speak up about issues especially when we are customers. I pay for 2 memberships and these aren’t cheap.

Owners are awesome. Worth the money not to be so crowded with a gym full of bros all the time. Great yoga classes although the studio space can get cramped. They have complimentary fresh fruit and nice private bathrooms. I love that they have trx and other non-traditional equipment.

Loved going to this gym until I moved 22.9 Miles away. Their contract states that if you live 25 miles away then you can cancel your gym membership with a cancellation fee. However, because I live 2.1 miles within a 25 mile radius (mind you I have to drive all the way around the oqquirh mountains from West Valley City, taking 2 freeways to get there) the owner of this location said there's nothing he can do because of the contract I signed up for. I told him I understand the contract, but I'm literally all the way across town! I asked what would the difference be if I lived 24.2 miles away? He had no comment.

Pretty poor customer service, I understand what I signed up for, however being a Sales Manager and taking care of customers all day for a major Berkshire Hathaway Corporation, this owner does not understand how to take care of his customers. I told him I love their gym, and if they had one closer to me I'd go to it, but the fact that I don't is why I need (not want), to cancel. Anyhow, I informed him that I'll pay the remaining year I have left on it since he'd rather stick to the "contract" then take care of what could've been a long time client had I moved closer to another Anytime Fitness location. However, going forward, I just won't use this gym and will not recommend this gym to anyone.

Thanks Anytime Fitness for not taking into consideration your clients circumstances and following your contract word for word while giving poor and terrible customer service.

I'm a newbie to the gym scene. I don't have a vast knowledge of machines or lifting techniques etc. The owners here are amazing. Mike has a vast knowledge of exercise tips, tricks and sets to do. They are always very understanding of their members needs and concerns and super helpful when it comes to giving advice to people who may not be as experienced as others.

I may just be used to larger gyms but I was a little disciplined here. Besides the small size I would have liked to see a shower area at least so you could clean up after a workout instead of driving home in your sweaty clothes. And I was surprised with the lack of an assisted pull-up/ dip machine. Besides that it's just a small basic gym worthy of the cheap membership.

I was passing by Utah and decided to stop for my daily workout. This location was great and loved the atmosphere. I got to meet the owner and he was a very excited to have me in his gym. I like the fact that the owner socialized and worked out with his members and guest. Two thumbs up I highly recommend this gym.
