We recommend taking advantage of our Intro Dance Lesson for $45 (a 50% discount). We promise that our staff will make your experience fun and painless. And it’s never too late to start. We are Salt Lake City’s Best Ballroom & Latin Dance School. We teach International & American Ballroom & Latin Styles of Dance and are the only facility with a spring-floating dance floor (easy on your knees). We have the best, most experienced and the highest certified dance instructors. We offer many different group classes, but strongly suggest taking private lessons.

So much fun! What an amazing, authentic place with lovely people. Martin is so generous and makes everyone feel like family. People introduce themselves and there’s plenty of talent to demonstrate on the floor, but also lots of people like us who don’t really know what they are doing except for having fun. Wonderful! I was first introduced to this place because they would visit our school and teach our children how to dance. So grateful to reconnect and feel the love again.

I keep going because I love dance. However, during the Friday socials, you sometimes spend half the evening sitting. I wish the instructors would dance with everyone during the socials and incorporate mixer dances so those who attend without a partner could enjoy the dance more. It’s disheartening paying to sit while the instructors socialize or are on their phones. Having said that, I’m glad they offer a ballroom social at least and they do a good job with the lessons.

This is a great place to take your date to on a Friday night. You’ll be your partner’s hero if you do. They have a fun dance and a lesson before the dance. Our night was The Great Gatsby themed. The team there was really nice and made it a fun experience. They have all different levels of dancing experience there so you will not feel out of place. It reminded me of going to a school dance.

So I joined the Ballroom Utah Dance studio because I wanted to learn to social dance but didn't have a wife/girlfriend/etc. to hide behind to protect my ego through the experience. The staff there couldn't be more welcoming and reassuring, if learning a few steps is something you've thought about but you 're nervous about how to begin these are the people that will take care of you, give them a call.

What a fun place to enjoy social dancing. We attended a ballroom class and the social after on two different Friday nights. The instructors were knowledgeable and easy to follow, even for beginners. The social afterwards was a lot of fun. The people were very welcoming and friendly.

Ballroom Utah is the premier dance studio along the entire Wasatch Front! The owner Martin Skupinski is an amazing dance instructor/teacher. This place was great! I was very skeptical at first cause of the location and the how it looked from the outside. That famous phrase has time and time again bitten me in the butt. "Don't judge a book by the cover". So true.
So my wife and I came to this place with a group of people from my ward. The elder's quorum actually went and set it all up for us. So we came and had a 1 to 1.5 hour of instruction on how to ballroom dance. We learned the basic steps and the rest of the time was freelance dancing. The instructor was amazing. I never caught his name but he was really great. Great instructor with a lot of passion and great sense of humor. Got many of use guys to actually learn how to dance. Some of us learned quicker than others but it was all good. They even provided refreshments. How awesome was that!
I think my wife and I will come back for more lessons. That's how great the whole experience was.
