The best of yoga right here! This studio offers superb classes and it is Challenging, but also restorative. I recommend the studio above all others in the state of Utah, very professional, very friendly, very well ran, and is consistent as it gets!

Since starting my trial and now my monthly membership, I have felt like my community is back, which was something that I had lost for a moment. But stepping into Core Power…all the kindness and the power to feel seen again, means the world, and community is a big part of my “why”. Thanks CPY! 💖

I’ve been coming to HPF classes for one year when over time I noticed an older man with short white hair named Randy hanging in the men’s locker room after class watching us dress and undress. He doesn’t hide it either and it made me very uncomfortable. I then started leaving class early so I wouldn’t have to see “Randy” staring at me naked in the locker room after class. I noticed a few other guys would leave HPF class early as well. I asked one of the guys why they leave class early and he said he didn’t like the way someone stares at him naked in the locker room after class. Someone in management needs to reach out and let Randy know this behavior is not ok!

To be honest, I feel like this location is really lacking in several areas. It often seems understaffed, which makes it hard to maintain proper cleanliness and studio standards. For example, we were originally using designated rags to clean the blocks, but those disappeared without any new guidance. I’ve since noticed people using their sweaty towels to wipe down the blocks, which is not hygienic.
Additionally, it doesn’t appear that the floors are being thoroughly cleaned between classes—just a quick spray and wipe before the next group comes in. When I first joined, I expected a studio that prioritized cleanliness and community, but it now feels like they enjoy the idea of running a yoga studio more than the responsibility it actually requires to maintain a clean and professional space.

When I walked in, the one girl was so nice and then another girl came to the front desk and said did you know you signed up for the one with the weights and I said no I didn’t know but OK she said well. I noticed that you left early in the class yesterday. I said I was there 35 minutes, but yeah I’m trying to work my way up never done hot yoga before but I enjoyed it and I felt great afterwards and she said I think that you just need to be close to the door so you don’t interrupt the class by leaving early because we don’t like to see people leave early And I said I just said that I was working my way up too a full hour She said I want you to tell the teacher before you leave like I’m in kindergarten so I said you want me to go up interrupt the teacher to let her know that I’m leaving Yeah we would want you to do that because we don’t want people to leave early so not only did she try and make me feel bad by saying you know this is the class with weights like I don’t do weights is she looking at me and thinking to herself she doesn’t look like a girl that can do weights or is it because I am older and older people don’t do weights I’m 64 and I look damn good for my age. I am fit and I said to her I do weights. I just wanted to switch it up and do some yoga so then she says why she’s picking her feet real classy. She’s judging me and she’s at the desk picking her feet so I walked out and before I did, I said you know thanks for making women feel crappy about themselves

CorePower is the best. I have tried several yoga facilities. They have a variety of classes and times that work with my schedule. I appreciate all the effort the teachers put into their playlists and class themes. If they had late classes on Friday and Saturday I would attend every day of the week.

Zac class is super amazing! The way he controls the atmosphere is like no other! I make sure to make it a point to attend his class at least once a week on Tuesdays. This Sunday class was a great way to start out my Sunday. The vibes and community at CorePowere are truly great! Every person in my experience goes above and beyond! I am so grateful for these safe places. 🙏 Every yoga instructor is special in their own way with that said the setters do a very nice job with cleaning, every person that I have encountered with, is loving, kind, supportive, respectful, considerate, compassionate, courteous, It’s just always been super great, in my experience. My second home! I love this place! Thank ya’ll so much!!! Xoxo

I've been hooked on Corepower Yoga, especially the Hot Power Fusion and C2 classes! The heat is intense, but it's an incredible workout that leaves me feeling energized and refreshed. The instructors, especially Caitlyn, Jenn, and Skye, are amazing at guiding and motivating us to push our limits. I've seen a huge improvement in my strength, flexibility, and overall well-being. While I appreciate the benefits of yoga and weights separately, I'm not a fan of classes that combine them. These classes are perfect for a challenging yet balanced workout. Highly recommend!
Yoga has carried me through many phases of life, offering both physical and emotional transformation. Finding an instructor who not only explains the movements but also continuously guides you back into alignment—both physically and mindfully—makes all the difference.
Caitlyn does exactly that.
As women, our bodies have unique needs, especially as we move through the four phases of our menstrual cycle. Hormonal fluctuations increase ligament laxity, meaning our hips can feel a little looser—sometimes leading to unexpected bodily surprises. Yes, gentlemen, women queef. It’s not an everyday occurrence, but certain poses or a weak pelvic floor can make it more likely.
A great yoga instructor understands these little nuances—like when to turn up the music at just the right moment to save us all from unnecessary embarrassment. Caitlyn does this seamlessly, creating a safe, supportive space where you can focus on your practice without distraction.
Beyond her keen awareness, I love her thoughtful class structure—how she begins with an intention, weaving it through the practice, and then circles back to it at the end. It’s a gentle yet powerful reminder of why you stepped onto the mat in the first place.
And her music selection? Spot on.
Yoga has been a profound part of my personal transformation, and instructors like Caitlyn make the journey even more meaningful. Thank you.

Had an incredibly horrific experience this morning in Nats class where we could not focus on our workout due to how loud the music was. We politely asked for the music to be turned down, and she TURNED UP THE VOLUME and then TOLD US WE COULD LEAVE IF WE DIDNT LIKE IT. I was flabbergasted. I would recommend this location to everyone, but do NOT go to Nats class. Like… woah dude. Woah.

I’ve been going to corepower for over a year now and I absolutely love it. I mainly go to the highland location because it is the closest to my house, but it is nice to have the other studios as an option. There are so many classes between the three, I can always fit my practice in. The teachers are amazing and they are so welcoming.

I signed up for the C2 class with Kacie at 9 AM on Thursday morning. I had had a rough week and was really looking forward to connecting with my practice and getting my day started. I walked in and the whole studio was smoky, she was burning sage or something and not just a little bit. She was just letting it burn. I immediately left and went to foothill studio. This is extremely annoying. I don’t want to breathe and humidity and smoke and end up with a headache. I don’t know why this would be allowed without people being an agreement with it. Any type of smoke can feel so invasive. I have three kids so I have to work around their schedule and plan time for my practice and now I’m having to drive 20 minutes out of my way when I already drove 20 minutes to get here.

Had such a great time at this studio! I took the Hot Power Fusion class as part of my free week trial. Amy KB is such an amazing instructor and you can feel her love and passion for what she does pour out in her class! She was fun and energetic, while also encouraging and motivating. The class was HOT, and just what I needed! I loved it so much I brought my cousins with me the next day! We took Jenn’s class and she was great! She was enthusiastic and made us feel so welcome! The instructors are always friendly. I think they could use a better system though bc there’s no courtesy in having someone who showed up early to wait before class to pay for a towel or mat? The sculpt classes seem ok here. I’m used to more intense and a little more advanced practice. I think this locations is better than others though. This place could be so much better!! Just be respectful, courteous, and get into your classes! (This is apart of yoga). I’ve been to a class where the instructor wouldn’t even count. She was so concerned about slowing things down. Girl, it’s OUR practice. We can go as fast or slow as we want. I say this with love, take a CorePower class in another state and it’ll change your whole view. Still love CorePower

For a first time in a yoga studio, I could tell I had chosen the right place. Erin is simply fabulous as an instructor. From positions, guidance, explaining, and demonstrating, she was absolutely great. That went hand in hand with what the other guys said about her in the locker room talk. Will go again when my body lets me.

This was the most horrible place I’ve ever came to for yoga. The staff was extremely snobby and rude. I was eager to try them out and start doing yoga here A couple times a week being that it is my first time on the upper Eastside you would think they would be kind and inviting, instead rude and stand-off ish . Maybe it’s not for minorities or what?

I’ve had such outstanding instructors, I had to update! Chris, Alex, Collin, Fiona, Carolyn, Cairisti, Mirah!! From incredible playlists to teaching with gratuitous hearts, really any class is such a vibe!
Honestly, I had literally the best class with Sasha, she has such an amazing energy and style—in addition to her music being incredible. I am giving a low star rating because the front desk girl was so rude to me after class, that all that positive energy shifted. Her terrible attitude and snarky response to a simple question made me leave this review. She is auditioning to be a teacher and I would avoid her class at all costs.

I love the Highland studio. Katie G's C2 on Wednesday's at 3:15 is one my favorites. I go to Highland Saturday for Lexi's candlelit C2 at 5:30 and Sunday for Judd's candlelit C2 with live guitar. This is a perfect way to get spend a weekend and get ready for the upcoming the week. I would highly recommend this studio to anyone who's interested in starting their yoga practice or any long-time yogis looking to take their practice to the next level. C2 classes always challenge my ability in the studio.

I've been going here for over a year and am a total addict.
I believe it's the heat that totally makes the experience. I feared it, but it really aids in maintaining focused, controlling your breath, and feeling like you got a good workout. Your first 3 classes will take some adjusting. But after that I don't even notice the heat anymore.
Instructors are great. Some cycle in and out frequently, but the favorites that stick around and are excellent (Judd is my favorite). They have candlelight sessions with live guitar that are amazing.
The studio allows you to put your membership on hold one month each year, which is nice if I have a long vacation.
Cleanliness is much better than most studios. Locker rooms are clean, and beautiful. The only thing that could improve is a quick broom sweep between classes like they use on basketball courts.
I do hot yoga alongside Crossfit at Crossfit New Life and it's truly the yin to my yang, the perfect balance of strength, stability, endurance, and flexibility.

I still go here and still love it. I've now been going for over three years and have ben to over 200 classes! I've recruited multiple friends that are now regulars. My only wish is the studio would adopt 5, if not 10 minutes of savasana at the end of each class. They currently use the full 60 minutes and after that, it's pretty impossible to opt into your own savasana because people start cleaning up and chatting. But this is minor--I can't imagine my life without CPY!

We tried the introductory free week here at core power yoga. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Prices are affordable, but as a yoga teacher I didn't find the classes to be up to par. I'm not sure if it's a core power thing, or if we just had bad luck when we visited, but the pace seemed too fast for anyone in the room to keep up. Not sure how a teacher can focus on alignment and proper form when everyone is moving so quickly, and my girlfriend managed to injure her hip in the class. I think these days that yoga is getting a very commercial appeal, and so called 'schools' are pumping teachers out left and right with little to no attention to quality control. There's very little consistency unless you find yourself at a very good studio, or you luckily find the right teacher. Unfortunately, we don't have the time to demo all of the different teachers here with working a full time job.

As a former yoga instructor, I had always been a yoga snob about CorePower studios thinking they are too commercial. But boy did I have to swallow my pride after going to this studio! The classes and instructors here are some of the best I have ever taken and I get everything I could ever want out of them - spiritually, mentally, and physically. A few of my favorite teachers are Charlotte (she is my favorite ever), Chanel, Judd, Brooke, and Lisa. I walk out feeling relaxed, loved, and like I got my ass kicked a little in a good way.
I highly recommend this studio I will forever go here.

I have been practicing at the Highland Corepower SLC yoga studio for over 4 months now. It is by far the best studio in Utah. I have been practicing yoga for over 15 years and have finally found my home! The studio is beautiful, clean and so inviting. The instructors are not only certified, but have become my friends and their energy is incredible. They have a full schedule of classes to choose from and a variety of levels so everyone will be comfortable. They have now opened their new studio in Foothill Village. From beautiful space, incredible instructors, affordable price packages...there is no reason to go anywhere else! Love it!
