The workouts are great and the owner, Eric, is excellent. Unfortunately, coach Katy ruined the experience for me. She repeatedly belittled me in front of the entire class, with sarcastic and demeaning remarks that were completely unprofessional. Her behavior was not only humiliating but also left me upset for hours after class. No one should have to pay to be torn down like that. Unfortunately, there’s no other options of taking classes without Katy, so I’m not going to this place any more.

I was a dedicated member of Fit Body Boot Camp for a long time but struggled to see progress. After a year of not increasing my weights or making gains, I realized my issue wasn’t the workouts. It was my diet. I wasn’t eating enough protein to properly build muscle, which led me to overdo it in workouts and repeatedly injure myself.
When my membership ended, I focused on dialing in my nutrition, and it made a huge difference. I felt stronger, healthier, and ready to return with a better foundation. Before coming back, I had a one-on-one meeting with Coach Eric to discuss my progress, and I left feeling excited to give it another shot. However, right before my workout, Katy made a comment that rubbed me the wrong way: “It’s all about mindset.”
While mindset is important, my experience showed me that nutrition was the missing piece. After putting in so much time, effort, and money, only to struggle with injuries, I felt dismissed by that remark, especially when I was returning with a whole new approach. What made matters worse was finding out that Katy later told my husband during one of his workouts, “I don’t think she likes me. I hope she doesn’t come back.”
To be clear, I never disliked Katy. I simply didn’t appreciate that comment and had noticed a pattern of her talking a lot about herself without showing much curiosity about others’ experiences. That interaction made me rethink whether I wanted to return.
Since then, I’ve joined Orangetheory, where I’ve found the support and structure I needed. Their weight training classes have helped me finally see growth and gains, and I feel much more encouraged in my fitness journey. Overall, Fit Body Boot Camp has great workouts, but my experience taught me that nutrition is just as, if not more, important for progress. If you’re struggling, I’d encourage you to take a step back and evaluate whether your diet is supporting your goals and to find a gym environment where you feel truly supported.

This is the only solution that keeps me wanting more. Katie and Eric are beyond amazing and the other clients are always fun and welcoming. You will feel challenged but also feel supported which a difficult balance to strike. If you want to get stronger and feel better this is the place.

I'm so glad I found FBBC in Cottonwood Heights. I've been going for just over 2 months and I feel stronger in my 40's than in my 20's. Eric and Katy are awesome coaches that are so supportive and keep us on our toes with new and challenging workouts everyday. I love this gym! I’ve been going for over a month now and it’s been absolutely incredible. The workouts are short enough that anyone can squeeze it in their daily schedule. The coaches, Katy and Eric are knowledgeable and super fun and nice. They are there cheering you along and work with you to make sure you do a workout correctly and add any modifications if needed. I just started fit body boot camp 2 months ago and I’m so happy I found this place!!! The coaches are amazing! Joining a new gym can be overwhelming and sometimes uncomfortable. Eric and Katy are so friendly and made me feel welcomed on day one! I love the community and getting to know everyone there has been nothing but positive! You are simply the best FBBC, Eric and Katy! First, let me start by saying that. Almost a year ago FBBC popped on my Facebook, did not think much of it, did not even believe the add but I was in soooo much pain I just gave in and texted them back. Wow, the energy, personalities, the level of empathy for my pain, encouragements, everything just clicked. That is why I am so grateful for everything Eric and Katy do. I thought I will try it 3-4 times and give up because come on it is a Boot Camp but here I am almost a year later still super excited to go and get my workouts done. I like the fact that I can always get a modified version of a workout so I do not mess up my already messed up neck, shoulder and core. You guys are like a family thank you so very much!!!!

I started with the free 2-week trial, expecting to only take advantage of the free period, but I fell in love with the coaches and workouts. Katy Schones coaches most of the classes I attend and she is one of the biggest reasons I stayed. Love her and love the fact that they NEVER repeat a workout, no matter how long you've been there. That is ideal for strength training and I don't get bored with the workouts. Eric is the other trainer and although I don't know him as well, seems equally awesome. Great environment and the coaches actually care about you succeeding more than the money you pay. They are always so encouraging, kind, and FUN! I'm SO glad I found this place!

I had been very apprehensive about joining a Boot Camp style gym because I am older and I was so out of shape. I was weak and overweight. The first day I couldn’t even do a push-up or a lunge. I was so surprised at the personal attention I received. Katy and Eric were willing to help adapt every exercise to me so I could fully participate in the session without shame. I had so much fun being there that I didn’t even realize how hard I was working. In no time I began to see great changes in my body and found myself so much stronger. The trainers are so much fun. We laugh the whole session and I am cheered on as they notice improvements in my abilities. It seems one-on-one most days. They know me and want my success as much as I do. The gym is well organized and clean and Katy and Eric are amazing. They are so helpful no matter your fitness level!

I joined FBBC just over 3 years ago. It's been my life since then and will continue to be. The coaches are awesome, fun and personable. They motivate you, make sure you're performing the exercises correctly and have modifications for every exercise. I think the best thing is getting your work out in a half hour time. Not spending hours at the gym. I've been a life time member at a local gym for 20 years plus and never got the results I have with FBBC. I've never had the toning and muscle I have now. It took me consistency and life changing habits, but it's my way of life now. There's every size and athletic ability people doing this workout and that's one thing that makes this gym. It's a family. Awesome place to get into shape.

Fit body boot camp has been a great way to get back into exercising on a regular basis! I love that you work really hard for 30 minutes and then your done! I have never been one that can go to a gym and do an exercise routine on my own I always stop because I get bored. I do not get bored at this gym. They make it fun and keep you motivated throughout the workout. After 8 weeks of going I have noticed a difference in my energy level and body transformation. I’m very thankful to have found this place!

I can’t say enough about the place and incredible people who make the place. The first time I walked in and did a workout, I felt like the coaches had known me forever. Fit Body Boot camp was nothing like I was expecting as I entered a challenge group for the first time. I was blown away but the universal commaradier, endless encouragement and support and the variety of exercise accomodations. One of things I noticed first was each person was individually greeted entering the gym. And in every class I've been to the ages group and ability levels were so diverse and the coaches provided individual accomodations where needed. This place provides a personal touch to group workouts. It's amazing!

I started attending FBBC 1year ago today. I had been looking for a fitness program I could stick to for years. Then my friend referred me to FBBC. My life changed! I am 52 going on 29, yet my body was telling me something different. My goals were minimal, (put the suitcase in the overhead compartment without tipping over) my commitment low, (work meeting trumps gym). Fast forward 12 months later. I am at 163 workouts, with 40% of my year away from home due to travel. FBBC is so fun, I genuinely miss going when I am out of town. Joining FBBC is the best fitness decision I have ever made. If you want a personal trainer 6 days a week for a monthly investment of what most trainers cost per hour..this is the place for you! Eric and Katy are the talent that make FBBC the perfect choice, and best fitness program. No matter what your fitness goals are, get them off of your TO DO list and join FBBC.

The coaches at Cottonwood Fit Body are amazing!! They provide just the right push to encourage you to push your limits. They are fun and energetic! It’s always nice to take a class where your coaches are participating in the same exercise(obviously WAYYY better). The equipment and gym is kept nice and clean. I’ve done two challenges with FBBC and have loved it both times. I now became a member. I’m grateful for the coaches there to push me. I like that I have to sign up for classes, which holds me accountable to actually go and I enjoy being able to be done in 30-45 minutes. The coaches support everyone from beginner to advanced, brand new to those who have been members 2-3 years.

I love CHFBBC! From day 1 they made me feel welcome and included. They modified the workouts to my level and I never felt belittled for not being able to achieve a level I wasn’t comfortable with. I’ve tried other fitness programs and nothing compares to this! The trainers put a lot of thought into the exercises and I’ve never repeated the same workout and I’ve been a member for 2 years! I like how they’re always incorporating new equipment to change up the workouts and the exercises BURN! They’re fun and it goes by really fast! After lockdown I was not only looking for a gym but a community that I could be part of during my fitness journey. I feel truly lucky that I found Fit body boot camp. The environment is positive, fun, and motivates me to do my best. I look forward to the work outs and going to the gym. Each coach brings thier own style and personality. This keeps the workouts interesting and challenging. It is a great group of people with lot's of different personalities and fitness levels. There is no judgement here. Everyone supports each other and celebrates each others successes. There is a lot of laughter and kindness. It is wonderful to be a member of a gym where the coaches love what they do and are genuinely happy when you reach your goals. The FB page is active with tips, healthy recipes, motivational info, and at home workouts. In the summers we meet once a month for group hikes. I have been a member for a year and I have been able to lose weight and build muscle in a way that is sustainable. With this amazing group of people supporting me I know I will be successful. They are helping become my best self.

This has been the best experience. The trainers are incredible, knowledgeable, and friendly. You will quickly become part of the fit body family and gain strength you never thought was possible in only 30 minutes a day! They will meet you at whatever your fitness level is and provide alternate exercises if needed. The format changes every week so it doesn't get monotonous. Who doesn't have 30 minutes to devote to their well-being!? If you're on the fence at all about joining... Just do it!

Coaches are wonderful, personable and l like that I can joke around with them. But all the camaraderie and joking aside, they take their coaching extremely serious and push us to do the things we don’t think we can do. It also goes the other way around - if you’re not ready for a certain exercise, they will give you an easier option.
I also like scheduling flexibility and the fact that workout is only 30 mins which 1. is awesome for busy people and 2. quite motivating :)

I am proud to be accepted by the cottonwood fbbc fitfam.. I have been attending classes here for 7 months now. The trainers here are awesome and work with you , the atmosphere is safe clean and nonjudgmental. The gym members come in all ages and sizes from all walks of life and every ethnicity. Great environment for those just getting back into health and wellness; fun program, challenging workouts, and the nutrition-based approach is super-helpful! I’ve avoided traditional gyms and personal training programs in the past because the whole macho/beefcake feel of the facilities and programs, but the trainers here are down to earth and make the studio fun and inviting, particularly for newcomers 👍🏻

I honestly didn’t know what to expect when I first started going to FBBC, but all I can say is I haven’t looked back. I joined Fit Body Bootcamp as part of their new year challenge and I loved it! The class sizes were usually small so it was a close and intimate experience. The coaches could really give one on one instruction and make sure you were doing the workouts correctly.
The workouts are designed to push you to your limit and really get you working. But the coaches are also accommodating and helpful if you are struggling with any of the workouts. The skill levels vary as well. You have experienced people to people who have never lifted a weight before but everyone is great about encouraging everyone and not putting anyone down. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a new gym!

I just finished the New Year New You 6 week challenge. I was completely scared to start a new program because I knew I was so out of shape and didn’t think I could keep up. However, the trainers made me feel accepted and comfortable from the beginning. All fitness levels attend classes so I never felt out of place and modifications are always given if needed. I’m so glad I did the challenge and have nothing but goods things to say about FBBC.

Fit Body Boot Camp is truly like a family. The coaches cheer you on, give advice, push you harder than you think you're capable, and when I hurt my knee, they modified the workouts so I didn't have to lose my momentum towards my goals. I've got a long way to go still, but I feel like I have more knowledge and tools to keep going towards my goals. Plus, the workouts are really fun. I'm glad I found FBBC!

I have to say this is one of the most real, challenging (physically and mentally), and motivating places I’ve ever been. Walking into this I had no idea how much I would benefit. Not just physically but mentally. Everytime I started a workout I didn’t think I could finish it but I did. And let me tell you the rush and adrenaline is addicting!! No monotony with the workouts. Their expertise and knowledge shows. They push you, motivate you and make you feel welcome!! 5 stars for sure!!

I used to be super uncomfortable and intimated by gym environments. I tried out their boot camp and I really enjoyed the vibe so I signed up for a membership. They’re always so supportive and encouraging, and the workouts are killer. It’s especially nice to get such an intense workout done in 30 minutes, with my schedule that’s super important!
Update: I’m knocking some stars, because how they handled COVID initially was very frustrating and I ended up getting very sick. I still have side effects and do not trust their facility.
I will say their trainer Eric is one of the best trainers I’ve got to workout with. They are still worth giving a shot. This is just my personal experience.

I love this place! They do a great job at sanitizing and keeping everyone safe. The group HIIT workouts are challenging with several modifications to accommodate every fitness level. The coaches are very knowledgeable, encouraging, and will help with technique if you’re open to it. It’s a short workout and they rotate targeting different muscle groups, making it easy to go daily.

For the first time ever, I responded to a Facebook ad, and I'm so glad I did! Because of the classes at FitBody Cottonwood Heights I have made exercise part of my daily routine for the first time in years. The 30 minute classes are easy to fit in my schedule and get amazing results. Such a wonderful, personalized experience. The trainers, nutritionists, and management are ALL phenomenal. I’ve always had some motivation to exercise and take care of myself, but never felt like I was making the progress that I wanted. What I needed was a team to move forward with. That’s what Fit Body was for me. In working with everyone there, I got a real sense that they really believed in me and cared about my goals and my needs. I finally met the goals I thought were so unattainable! I would recommend their programs, both the at home training program and the hit workouts, to ANYONE. I’ve stepped away because of some personal/health stuff, but when things settle down, I will definitely go back to Fit Body.

Where to begin?! I’ve honestly had so much fun coming here. The coaches are absolutely amazing and they help you reach your goal. I’ve been on a fitness journey for quite sometime, and if it weren’t for them, I wouldn’t have gotten where I am today. They push you, encourage you, and most of all they help you. The coaches are very understanding when you need to take it easy on the weights (unless you’re like me and you keep going at it until the last minute😅😂)

I have had many gym memberships before but never found anything that motivated me individually to keep going. When I started going to Cottonwood Heights Fit Boot Camp that all changed. All coaches were super motivating and I loved the atmosphere. Everyday there was a different body focus group we worked on and after attending one month I already started seeing muscles form I never knew I had! The workouts are fast and effective. What’s most helpful for me is you don’t have to keep track of reps you just go until the timer dings then move to the next one. Eric knows your strengths and weaknesses and modifies for you as needed. Definitely recommend it!

Great welcoming atmosphere. The workouts are challenging but easily modified for those that need it. I have knee problems and Eric always makes sure I get a modification on exercises I need to so that I can get the most out of my workouts. They always remember you, check in with you and want you to succeed with your goals. Definitely not an intimidating gym. The people range in all levels of fitness and you don’t feel as though you “shouldn’t be there” highlight recommend.

Great for all levels of athletic ability. The workout is fast (30 minutes) and can be as easy or as hard as you want it to be, depending on your intensity. Coach Eric has a great personality, friendly and encouraging. He's also willing to help you modify the exercises whether you need more intensity or less. I would especially recommend Fit Body Boot Camp for those who are out of shape or have injuries. The floors are nicely padded to reduce impact and/or strain.

This is the second Fit Body location we’ve trained at and WE LOVE IT HERE! Coach Eric is always creating workouts that seem to push me right to the edge, but that I can finish. He knows how to push you and motivate you to keep going, in the best possible way. The gym is so welcoming to people of all fitness levels and the community vibe we feel there is really special. If we weren’t moving to California, we’d be long term members here for sure. Go get into Fit Body, you won’t regret it!
