I started CrossFit six months ago with one-on-one foundation sessions with Elijah, and it completely changed how I approach fitness. Elijah was patient, motivating, and made sure I felt confident before joining classes. Since then, I’ve lost 30 pounds, gotten significantly stronger, and built real confidence.

As a first timer at cross fit I wasn’t sure what to expect. Dan and his team have been awesome at making sure I am doing the workouts in the correct form and pushing me through the workouts while showing support. I also love how the workouts are designed for you at your skill/endurance level! Can confirm this works for everyone regardless of fitness level and would definitely recommend!

I really enjoyed dropping in to Crossfit The Point. A solid space, good coaching, and well run class. I would absolutely drop in again if I'm ever in town. I love the coaches and the people who attend class. I just started coming to CrossFit The Point three weeks ago, and I was amazed at how friendly and accepting everyone was. The workouts are awesome and coaches are all great at helping me understand what is going on. Crossfit The Point rocks! I’ve been going to the same gym for the past 4 years, so you can imagine how skeptical I was when trying out new gyms after recently moving to the area. Hands down CrossFit The Point is the best CrossFit gym I’ve ever been to. Over the years I’d visited CrossFit gyms from time to time but never stuck with it or really wanted to go back until I went to this gym. The coaching is effective and thorough so my skills have quickly and dramatically improved. I’ve been to other gyms where the coaches give more generic tips but the coaching here is very personalized so I’m confident that I’m performing movements in the right way for my body and strength level.

I started knowing basically nothing about proper lifting technique and CrossFit skills, but it didn’t matter cause you are coached through each skill and I never felt weird or out of place being a beginner. The community of people here is just amazing. Everyone is SO NICE and welcoming. They share great tips and are encouraging to everyone. The combination of coaching, community, and skill building makes me legitimately excited to go to each class even if I know the workout is going to kick my butt.

Ultimately, my overall functionality and cardiovascular fitness is so much better than it was from just going to the gym. Add a 2-3 days a week of CrossFit The Point into your workout routine to start and just watch how fast you find yourself doing things you never thought you could do. It’s addicting, and looking and feeling strong isn’t a bad bonus either.

Nice community of people/athletes. Great coaches that take the time to answer your questions and guide you through the moves before the workout. Nice size gym. I love the Level method for all age groups for seasoned or new members. I have only been there for two weeks now but feel comfortable.
The head coach has been in touch with me daily, weekly thru text and email to make sure I'm doing ok and if there are any questions. Checking on my goals, making sure I'm aware of gym rules, keeping me and I'm sure everyone aware of events coming up. It's been very helpful.

I'm enjoying being back in the gym after recovering from double hip surgery end of 2022. I make sure the coaches I meet are aware so a good workout is put together. Again I Love that the Levels method is already In effect here.

FYI- I'm not new to CrossFit. I started back in 2011 and loved every moment. Unfortunately, I had to take a break December 2021- and then barely started back July 2023 to figure out what was going on with my mobility.

CrossFit is for anyone.

Great programming and they use the level method programming. I just moved to the area and CTP is the second gym I’ve tried a class at. Their standouts are firstly the members, I’ve now been to mid morning, afternoon, and evening classes and have been welcomed by members of each class. Dan is personable and has done more to communicate with me about my goals than any other gym in the past has. CTP uses the level method approach to CrossFit, which I currently appreciate more than the RX/freedom levels approach. Since I find myself falling somewhere in the middle of RX/freedom standards, the level method make me feel like there’s a deliberate scale to leveling up. I’ve done CrossFit for a year and have now been attending CTP for 3 weeks.

Love this gym! The workouts can be tough, but are awesome and well rounded (everything hurts🤣) The workouts are also preset for a variety of different fitness levels, so you don’t have to be He-man to start. The coaches are very knowledgable and have been super helpful in helping me modify every exercise/workout to my current fitness level. Everyone I've met so far has been very welcoming and kind. You can tell it’s like a family here, not like a regular gym where I’ve felt lost or like others were bothered I was using the equipment. I love The Point! I felt at home immediately. The number of classes offered per day make it so I never have to worry about missing a day because of a changing schedule. I love working out here. This box is the best and everyone here is like family. The WODs here are challenging but everyone helps and cheers you on. The coaches are great and knowledgeable. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I was forced to take some time off, but I have returned and I am loving it.

Don't be afraid by the name CrossFit. These workouts look crazy, but everything can be adjusted to fit your level of comfort and activity. If you are unsure, come to the 7:30 class. It is the best.

Coming in not knowing anything about CrossFit is very intimidating and scary. The coaches and members here were very inviting and understanding of all the millions of questions I had when I started and still have even now. 2 weeks in and I'm converted to CrossFit The Point! The instructors are hands on and really helped me feel comfortable jumping into an exercise program that I knew nothing about. They also offer foundation courses, to introduce proper form for some of the lifts we'll do, regularly. If you're on the fence about CrossFit, and are worried about being unfamiliar with some of the exercises (weights, rower, etc.), give CrossFit The Point. They'll give you the attention you need!

Edit: it’s now been almost 10 months and I’m still loving CFTP! I’ve seen steady increases in my lifts, as well as my overall fitness. The coaches still take just as much time with me, as they did on day 1 and the members are great in every class I drop in on! Seriously, get in here and check it out!!

The new location is huge, well lit (windows and lights), has AC and heat, 2 bathrooms and 2 separate showers. Equipment is well maintained. Lots of parking. Separate area and coaching for Olympic weightlifting. They also offer yoga, high fitness, boot camp and teens/kids CF classes. The community is bigger than most I’ve seen and the energy is amazing. Coaches are knowledgeable, invested and always trying to better themselves for the members benefit.

I think highly of Dan and his team of coaches. I have honestly never enjoyed working out until I joined The Point. Everyone makes you feel like you are at home and has "family" feel to it. If I lived here, this would definitely be my box. Whenever I’m in town from TX to visit family, I always make sure to drop in to CFTP. I was nervous to join a Crossfit gym based on negative press, but I had a friend who had become a completely different person when they joined Crossfit the Point, so I naturally had to try it. I am so glad I made this decision to join, because the coaches genuinely are looking out for you regarding form, and personally. The people are friendly and nice. You get a good workout which is what you want from CrossFit. They are accommodating to people new to working out but their routines are tough to do RX. It may take a lot of time to be able to do a single workout RX and you will have to get in good shape. Only missing 5 stars because the music generally sucks most of the time. It's pop-rap stuff. Rarely do they play anything beyond that.

This is my favorite place right now. I get to devote an hour to myself (which never happens otherwise). The coaches are fantastic, and are very oriented towards you becoming your best self. I have been going here for just a few months now and I have LOVED my experience. Everyone has been patient and super helpful as I've learned so many new things. The coaches take the time to make sure I understand and are constantly helping me to improve. This gym is the best! I starting coming to CrossFit the Point about a year and a half ago. I have gained so much in this time, not only am I stronger I am also more confident in myself. Everyday you step in the door and workout you are challenged to give your all and when you're done it is the most rewarding feeling. The Coaches are also AMAZING they care about everyone individually. They really DO coach during the workouts to make sure your form is on point so you get the most out of the workout and also so you don't get injured.
