The class was all good vibes! Lots of people there and it was a fun non pressure environment. The coaches and veteran members there were very kind and willing to work with you and answer any questions you had. The gym was clean and organized and they had anything you would need to do CrossFit functional workouts. During the workout there was a run and not only did the coaches show you where you needed to run to, there was also a color coded map inside to show you as well.

Laws is an amazing coach! The classes are intense, but can be scaled to each individuals personal fitness level. Iβm grateful to have coaches that push me to do my best and improve each time I go. Shayne was awesome! She was very patient and answered all of our questions no matter how many times we had to ask.
She was good at cheering us on while trying to finish the workout and was never condescending or rude when we slowed down. She let us know how we were doing and made me feel better about not doing as well as Iβd hoped.
I will definitely be going back for more classes if theyβre like this.

Great workout! Laws did a great job providing options for scaling the workout to help each athlete meet their individual goals, and shared great tips/tricks for improving form and reducing risk of injury. Laws is an incredible coach! Every time I go to a class I can feel myself getting stronger. I can also feel my body start to understand the movements way better than when I started! 1st time in and everyone was very welcoming and inclusive. Cheering me on on my first CrossFit workout ever! Awesome people and it was just bought out by new people who really want to revamp it and add more coaches, training, etc.

My family and I have been going to CrossFit Utah Valley for many years. The quality and variety of the workouts are always challenging and focus on all areas of functional fitness.
The trainers and owner, Jake and Shantai, as well as other instructors are always demonstrate and teach the movements of the WOD. During the workouts they are encouraging and offer positive corrective feedback.
As my family has a wide variety of fitness levels there are various levels of modifications that can be made to any workout depending on fitness level and ability.
We are always assured of a fantastic workout.
The community and support is non-judgmental, warm and welcoming. I always recommended CrossFit UtahValley to anyone of any fitness level, from beginning to expert.

I started this place in Jan 2017 and when I started I was in no way in the shape I wanted to be at the time. Fast forward to Nov 2017 and I have grown in leaps and bounds, and I give credit to the coaches and owners of the gym. They do truly care for their customers, you are not just another number or paycheck to them. They truly want you to succeed and get better. I mean the next day that I came in they remembered my name, which sometimes at other gyms they don't really put for the effort to do so. The best thing is they really care about your technic. At the start of every class they really go over the technic for the movement that we will be doing of the workout. They walk around before the workout and watch you do the movement to make sure you have the right weight for you and proper technic and continue to do so during the workout. They push your technic because they care about your safety and you as a person. Last, the atmosphere is fun and relaxing, even from the start when I was new the people there would cheer me on not even knowing me that well. It is a great Crossfit gym, I would say the best one out there.

I joined crossfit in July of this year. It was my first time ever lifting weights so I was apprehensive about it. My worries were quickly put aside as the coaches spend time at the beginning of each workout ensuring you have good form and keep that form throughout the workout. I have loved becoming stronger and being challenged different ways.

I've been doing Crossfit for 4 and half year and 3 of them have been with Crossfitt Utah Valley. I love working out here. The coaches/owners are by far the best in the industry and are amazing trainers. The people at the gym are like my second family I get to workout with everyday. I've been a member at 3 different Crossfit affiliates and CFUV is by far the best :)

I moved to Utah last year from Florida where I had bounced around to 3 Crossfit gyms and I do have to say that Crossfit Utah Valley has been my favorite. One of the best things is the space, even during the busiest classes you never feel cramped.
Coaching staff is fantastic and very friendly, and the Olympic lifting classes have been very helpful as well. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a Crossfit gym.

The Coach was negative, he was lazy, he spent more time baby sitting the owners baby (pushing him around in a stroller instead of actually coaching). This place claims to give you your monies worth and are significantly more expensive than other cross fit gyms in the valley; however, they lack the amazing, positive, upbeat, fast paced energy you'd expect from a good cross fit gym. The first moment I met the coach and he immidiatly started talking about people he didn't like in cross fit. He didn't encourage me! Instead, he told me I couldn't do the work out at the pace I was going. After doing it, he didn't say "good job" rather he critized me for something else. Im all about instructive criticism but this guy was lame! I'd never pay this much money for a gym that plays slow music. Or even country music to a what's suppose to be fast upbeat motivating group work out! Over all it was boring and disapointing! The atmosphere isn't encouraging it had a negative "Im better than you attitude." and frankly....?no they weren't. The coach lacked significant technical training.

CrossFit UV is a perfect place to go if you just want to try CrossFit for the first time or if you are a seasoned competitor. The trainers are knowledgeable, but not pushy and they know how to get the best out of athletes of all ages and fitness levels. There is a great community feel at CFUV, which is not something you find at every gym. I highly recommend it!

I decided on CFUV based on the friendly look of the website. When I arrived, I immediately felt like one of their community. Dallin was the trainer, gave me a warm welcome, then pushed me through 15.5. He did a great job. I would recommend CFUV to anyone visiting the Provo/Orem area. I am very new to crossfit and I visited many gyms before signing up. When I first walk in Crossfit Utah Valley I was so impress with the coaches and the atmosphere there!! every one is so nice and friendly and the coaches are very professional and caring about the clients safety as well as using the right technique during the exercises to prevent injury as well as being patient teaching you if you are new!!!. I really love this place I love to see all kinds of people all ages to come and get a WOD or any other class they offer it really doesn't matter how old you are I have seeing little kids and grandmas doing a WOD:)!!! it is just so cool!!!!. I would recommend Crossfit Utah Valley to everyone!!!:)...I will encourage you to try a class and experience this awesomeness!!

I have always felt welcomed every time I come here. CrossFit UV is where I first learned CrossFit and the gains I have achieved are amazing to me. I still remember my first class when I just stopped by to check it out and then when I eventually signed up for the onramp; it was amazing to have one on one training on all the movements necessary. After finishing the onramp I continued to recevie that one on one training in the group classes. It is difficult to stay motivated when you go to a globo gym alone, but with the group class atmosphere, that makes it so much easier to go and get an awesome work out in. The CrossFit community is unbeatable and you won't regret coming in. Come in, have fun, work hard, eat right and you'll achieve the goals you set.

I have never joined a "fitness gym" before, until I joined Crossfit UV, and my only regret is that I wasn't introduced to it before! The trainers love what they do, and I believe they love seeing ppl succeeding and accomplishing their clients goals. They are constantly learning by attending workshops and certifications, which later on pass on to us in the form of warm up routines, or exercise routines, which adds variety to the work outs as well as safety. They know you by name, and usually you get to know the other ppl by name as well. That's a bonus because the same ppl you're competing against, are also cheering you on! I'm stronger, faster, and more agile than ever before! like I said, my decision to join Crossfit UV has been the best decision ever!
